Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. Dr. Nelson continued on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Nelson is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Throughout her dental career, Dr. Nelson has worked hard to establish great relationships with her patients by practicing comfortable, evidence-based dentistry to provide the best dental experience. When Dr. Nelson is not working, she and her husband enjoy staying active with their dogs, Cooper and Charlie, spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, and cheering on the Huskers.
