In 2001, Dr. Hockaday graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry. She grew up in Charlotte and enjoys spending quality time with her family when not working with patients. Dr. Baucom graduated first in his class from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Dental School. His early dedication to dental health was evident by his role as a member of the OKU honor society. Dr. Baucom is an active member of the following associations and societies:

Staff was friendly and efficient. I was pleased with their ability to fit me in on short notice and also give me a filling same day. I would highly recommend using this office for you dental needs.

I had a crown put on by Dr Hockaday over 6 months ago. I had sensitivity in that tooth and went back to her to see what was the cause. She wanted to charge for the xray and exam to see what might be causing it. She decided not to when i questioned why I was being charged when the problem was with the crown she just put on. She decided not to charge me then. The crown fell off 2 weeks ago, so I had to go to go to an emergency dental service to put it back on.

I love everyone here!! Penny does an awesome job and is great to talk to. Dr. Hockaday is so great and attentive to any concerns or really anything said. Amazes me how they know what you're saying when your mouth is wide open and dental tools stuck in it! Carrie is always helpful and so sweet. Five Stars to all of them!

Always been great - I went there when I caught my dentist, at the time, contradicting himself on a "required" filling I would need ASAP. After 5+ years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Hockaday and team.

I've been going to Dr. Hockaday for over 15 years. They do excellent work and are great people. Importantly, they will "watch" potential issues with your teeth and only take action when needed. I recently has a small procedure that required pain suppression during the process. Wow, Dr. Hockaday uses "The Wand" which inserts the medication slowly in several locations. I did not even feel it. The whole procedure was over quickly. Excellent.

BEST DENTIST in Charlotte! I have been going here for over 10 years, Dr Hockaday is the real deal. I had my 2 front teeth busted out and she was great in the process of getting Crowns they look perfect. I was even able to bring my 5 month old to my appointment since I did not have day care. And it was no issue. Always remember who I am, and I will no go anywhere else!

I have been going to this practice for decades and will never try another dentist. I did that once and it was a mess. I like that they are conservative and don't try to convince you to have work done if you don't really need it or if you can wait awhile for it. Going there is always a positive experience. Dr. Baucom and Dr. Hockaday are the best, and the entire staff is gracious and friendly.
