Dr. King was born and raised in a small town in Missouri. After graduating high school, she was blessed to enter an accelerated dental school program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Upon graduation, she completed a residency in General Dentistry with the University of Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1995 she found her professional home in South Tampa on Swann Avenue whereshe has enjoyedtreating her patients as though they were family.
Dr King takes pride in providing thorough and complete dental care in a kind and honest environment. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry and takes joy in ongoing continuing education in order to offer the most advanced dental procedures.
Dr. Hussein is a graduate of University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences and was a walk-on student athlete. He then graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. After graduating, he then expanded his education by completing an exclusive General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee hospital in Knoxville, TN where he received training on the most progressive dental diagnostic and treatment techniques. After his residency, Dr. Hussein moved back to Tampa to serve his community in a patient-centered environment.
Dr. Hussein considers himself a lifetime student and enjoys attending Continuing Education courses where he can learn about the most up-to-date techniques and materials. Dr. Hussein is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When he is not in the office, you can find Dr. Hussein spending time with his family trying different cuisines around town. The Hussein family loves calling Tampa home and they enjoy spending time at the beach, hiking, cheering on Tampa sports teams, and enjoying outdoor activities in the Florida sunshine!

Easy in and easy out. I went in for routine cleaning. I like that the Dr checks your teeth after routine cleaning. Both the hygienist and dentist were very nice and professional. I love the new place.

Great experience so far! Tiffany (DH) and Dr. Hussein were great and thorough. They explained everything clearly. Office staff (Joan) was thorough as well. More follow-up dental work next week -- eek! Also, it's a nice, clean, new office.

Friendly yet professional ,this is a great dental office. No waiting when I arrive for a scheduled appointment and they always "fit me in" for an emergency. I recommend both dentists and commend the staff for always making me feel comfortable and well cared for.

My family has been going to Dr. King for over 15 years. Her new office is state of the art and really well done. The dental care received from Dr. King, Dr. Hussein and staff is always top notch and never rushed and they make you feel like family there. Highly recommended.

So impressed with this place! Nicole was my hygienist and she was great. What a pleasure it was to go in and not try to be 'upsold' on additional things to do on my teeth--as some of the dental places. The new facility was surely top notch!

I have been going to Dr. King for years. She is the best Denist in South Tampa. All of the staff are friendly and efficient. The only thing I would change with them is that they wear name tags. They don't always introduce themselves, but that's no reflection on the practice. It's a wonderful dentistry.

Love love love this office! I was not yet an established patient and I had a small piece of an old filling fall off and I called in and the office gave me an asap appointment. DrKing was amazing and did a wonderful job on fixing my cracked filling. She was super great with "bed side" manners and also is good at what she does. I'm so excited that we switched dentists and I ended up choosing this office.
