All 3 of my kids have been going to Dr Blankenship for years and the staff and the Dr are always punctual and care for the kids. I would recommend this office to anyone.

when you come to this clinic, write down what they told you, they see that all your bonuses are spent on nonsense, so when a serious situation arises you pay extra, after them my child is also afraid of the doctor, I will look for another children's dentist, they are too strict for my child.

Had my daughter ripped from the chair after she had been prepped for an extraction because a different mother complained about her child not having laughing gas well they completely mixed up the kids and now my child had to suffer and be traumatized by there lack of empathy and organization.will be looking for another practice.

1st issue I have had this practice. The Spanish woman in the back had an issue cuz I asked about why a charge was coming when the INSURANCE said it was covered. I then handed her an American Express card it's 2022 an the lady for better words with a stank attitude goes on we don't take that here with a rude unprofessional nasty tone. I said well it DOES NOT say that anywhere. She said it does on my machine. She definitely could use a customer service workshop.

The dentist is great and does wonderful with special needs kids like no one else but the office staff and their policies are becoming terrible. I drive 45 minutes. They will only see little kids in the morning, they only will see a couple kids at a time from each family in case you cancel. They also REQUIRE you to confirm the day before or your appointment will be canceled and given away. They call, text, and email more than once before each appointment which I get but I cannot always answer my phone. I figure a reminder call is just that but today I drove 45 minutes with my special needs kiddo and was cancelled because I had not picked up the phone. This was never clearly stated in writing to me but they said it was in the voice mail. Who listens to voice mail all the way through from the dentist when you know you have an appointment? They also missed scheduled my child early for a cleaning and when I showed up they said I can either reschedule or pay out of pocket. Their mistake not mine! They said it all without any empathy or trying to work with me to understand my situation. Terrible business in the front office. Be very careful when dealing with them they will cost you time and money.

Parents are not allowed to be with their children while being seen. This is absurd and not a family friendly standard. When i asked why i was told children feel more independent away from their parents. They also said if the parents are in the treatment room then the children are more scared. I have always been with my children at other practices and this has never been a problem

Brought daughter here for an emergency dental growth for the staff to be extremely rude and not want to help at all wouldn't even take the time of day to call the insurance company for an emergent authorization for an EMERGENCY dental issue told to me come back in maybe a week to have a procedure done.. worse place ever never bring your child to this place they won't help your child with a growth in their mouth. The staff wouldn't even go above to help a child in need in fact they are more concerned about taking a lunch break

The office is extremely unorganized. After an appointment was made for my kids without my knowledge " as the office has to keep and certain ratio of follow up appointments for billing" I made arrangements to drive 1hour 45 mins to the appointment that and I was told they could only doing at cleaning" which is not what the appointment was for" because they didn't have enough time. . Which is unacceptable. And very inconsiderate seeing that the appointment was made without my knowledge and I was told if I didn't make it to the appointment I wouldn't be able to schedule my 3 daughters at the same time next tome

I have never had an unpleasant visit here for my child until today. After being here 2 hours am told they are running behind while in the meantime numerous patients went in and came out. We are always here on time actually are I'm sure we arrive 15 minutes early.

I LOVE Dr.Blankenship! She was my dentist as a child and now my children go to Dr.Blankenship! My little ones were in and out quickly and they left the office smiling. My friend also takes her children here. I definitely recommend this practice for children.

Awful practice. Staff sucks and not friendly. My kids hated going there. HATED. There is so many better options out there.

First of all, ridiculous amounts of time that are wasted between different parts of treatment or checkup. For example, during treatment that took around 80 minutes only 20 minutes was treatment and the rest was just waiting. Secondly, when my child got a sealant nobody asked about any discomfort or problems. Everyone thought that if something is done it is good enough. The problem was that sealant was unevenly spread and this lead to discomfort. Eventually, he did get this problem fixed, however he still has pain after that sealant. In conclusion, obviously decision about this dental clinic is after you, however I strongly do not recommend going here.

I was a little concern with my two youngest grand children going in without me for they are only 2 and 1/2 and 4 and their first time ever going to a dentist but they did good...no cavities There is a little bit of a wait for them to come get them but they are wonderful with children one of my older grand kids needed a filling and they got her back in right away

SAVE YOUR KID FROM THIS PLACE. When she closed down the Clearwater office something changed. I've been religious about the dental health of my kids and very proud of a good smile so for a few years it was just cleanings. However as they got older and could communicate better, my kids refused to see her in the Palm Harbor office. We had seen another dentist in between (we moved and later came back) who was top notch and had discovered a very small cavity in one of them just before we had to switch so I pointed this out to the staff. I could not believe that A) they didn't find it B) They were essentially calling me or their prior dentist a liar C) They were refusing to perform services D) It took 3 times of me insisting until they agreed to fix it. Clearly they were not thorough in their exam. Fortunately I keep good dental records and had paperwork of the recommendation, but in the middle of a chaotic interstate move it took me a while to find it. I wish I had known it would have been a horrible experience!!!!!!The poor kid was traumatized after that. He was 12 and old enough to explain they didn't wait for the anesthesia to kick in before they started working on his tooth. I feel horrible that I did not choose his care wisely. Now that I read other reviews I suspect she is either diluting anesthetic (to make money to pay for dental malpractice) or not legally authorized to use it for the same reason. l will never return.

My girls are always happy to come to their appointments. They are well taken care of at the office. Dr. Blankenship and all the staff are very nice.

Worst place for a special needs child... He was held down by 3-4 staff and I was not informed... In the several years I took my son there I was never introduce to the actual dentist, was always told she would be right out thenade to wait for hours then told she was too busy to speak to me... The crown that he had applied both came off and was told nothing they could do to fix but charge me $250 a tooth...I wouldn't take my worst enemy here for dental

Wonderful staff! Love the office ladies. My little guy loves Megan so much! Dr.Blankenship is a angel. I have to mention Tammy, Kristen and milly how kind and caring they are. Highly recommend.
