I have always been interested in medicine and engineering, both of which are integrated in the dental field. I love working with my hands while attempting to solve complex challenges. Every task is completely unique and I strive for perfection. To be able to do this while at the same time helping someone is an incredible privilege.
I earned my bachelors degree in Chemistry, and graduated Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1973. I graduated with high honors from the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 1977, and went on to a hospital-based General Practice Residency program at Hartford Hospital, where I received advanced training in all the dental specialties.
Practicing dentistry enables me to be a lifelong student.I am an active alumni member of the L.D. Pankey Institute, one of the most advanced post-doctoral education centers in the world. In 2004, I received a fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. This career milestone requires continuous membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, which includes a strict continuing education component, completion of more than500 hours of coursework, and the passing of a comprehensive written examination.
My wife Lisa isa warm and caring person, a therapist who helps many people with her unique talent. She is a great mother and wife, and doesan amazing job raising our six kids. It is very rewarding watching them as they start their own lives and families.
I love being active and am usually outdoors when Im not in the office. I bicycle a few thousand miles a year and still play hockey on Thursday nights with friends who have been on the ice together for more than 40 years. Our club is proud to sponsor the Annual Connecticut Special Olympic speed skating competition.
Lisa and Ilove doing anything that has to do with nature- skiing, hiking,and snowshoeing as often as we can. I also scuba dive and compete at some auto time-trialing events on racetracks around New England.

I have worked with Dr. Farley since 1989, assisting at his side during patient procedures. Our patients are some of the best people Ive ever met, so spending my days helping them be healthier is a pleasure! My goal is to give them a positive experienceone that will make them enjoy coming back!
I began my career in 1980 as a dental assistant and eventually earned my Associates in Science in dental hygiene. Joining this office in 1986, I provide clinical assessments, preventive care, periodontal treatments, and patient education, all to help our patients achieve a maximal state of oral health. Our office is a wonderful place that emphasizes continuing education and modern technology. We all strive to be our best!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three grown children. I also enjoy Zumba and working out, watching movies, reading, and cooking. I am involved with a charitable organization, doing fundraising for one of their major events.
Helping people love their smile is the most essential aspect of my job as a hygienist. I joined Windsor Progressive Dental Care in 2019 and feel like Ive found my second home! Dr. Farleys sense of humor is matched only by his knowledge, and the rest of my coworkers have an incredible amount of compassion. Combined, they make our practice a truly wonderful place where patients can receive the care they need.
The things that make me smile outside of the office include being outside, whether its going kayaking, gardening, walking, or going to the beach! I also enjoy cooking, crafting, painting, and spending time with my niece and nephew. My husband and I adopted two cats and I plan to adopt more animals in the future years!
I focus on offering quality patient service thorough individualized patient care, effective communication, and personal attention in a gentle, caring manner. It brings me such joy to see a patient happy with the results of our work and care! Communication is key in our office, which allows us to have excellent teamwork when serving our patients. A little dose of humor goes a long way, too!
I have over 20 years experience working in the dental field. I started my dental career as a front deskreceptionist in High School and found thatdentistry ismy passion.I take pride inhelping others and my priority is to give our patients the most enjoyable and comfortable experience. As a financial coordinator, I look forward tohelping all of ourpatients with their Insurance questions or concerns.

I think Dr Farley and his staff are wonderful. He is very kind and caring with his patients. He has a nice sense of humor and explains everything he is doing. I highly recommend him .

Dr. Farley and his Staff have done incredible work for me and have always been a pleasure to be around the second you step into the office. This is the right place for emergency or routine dental work. First class staff, cutting edge tech, and accessibility like concierge medicine. I knocked two front teeth out on a Saturday night, was able to talk to Dr. Garceau on the phone right away. By Monday morning the pain and mess were gone, two days later the new teeth were in and truly not a single person has been able to tell the difference. Even as an uninsured out-of-stater, the whole process was made simple and extraordinarily painless by Dr. Farley.

My temperature was taken and my state of health questioned prior to my being seen. Every person wore layers of PPE from head to foot. I learned that patient appointments were staggered to allow for just one person at a time in the waiting room and cleaning occurred after each patient. Dr. Farley always delivers and he has been my dentist for years. He is meticulous, very personable, highly intelligent and dedicated. He makes going to his office relaxing and he never hurts me. His people are fantastic and fun and they love where they work. Thank you Ashley, Kristen, Wendy, and Joanne! Dr. Farley and his team excel every year that I go to this office. I have been going to this office for years. Everyone in the office is extremely nice and professional. How often do you look forward to getting your teeth cleaned? They really do make it "fun". The best part is that they are always on time!

Probably the best dental office I've ever been to. Everyone there is friendly and polite, and they don't make you sit in the lobby for an hour like some dentists whom I won't name. Besides that, it's only a 10 minute walk from my apartment and a ten minute drive from work. The vicissitudes of fate have determined that later this year I will have to relocate to Wethersfield to help out my elderly parents, but I will stay with Dr. Farley.
