Dr. Beadnell is the BEST oral surgeon I've ever had. He is highly skilled, great with patients, conservative in his recommendations, clearly loves his job and enjoys people. I had a complicated situation & while he could have gone with another dentist's plan for 2 implants and certainly make a lot of money, he came up with an alternate plan that only required one. His entire team is professional, kind and go the extra mile to serve their patients. Highest recommendation.

I visited Dr Beadnell at the recommendation of my dentist, to have a dark pigmented area inside my lip examined. I was impressed by his warm, personable approach to reassuring me and his thorough and patient explanation that it is almost certainly benign. I liked his balanced approach, and the fact that he didn't rush to biopsy or overtreat. I liked his genuineness. I recommend him highly.

This doctor only cares about money that he can make. He's awful! His plan is to remove 5-6 teeth (two molars and 3 wisdom teeth)for my 14 years old son since he thought they won't come out. At first we believed him and did twice consultation with him. But finally we realized that he does not care about patient's well being and only cares about his income. We had a second opinion and went to with it. In a year, my son's two molars have grown out and all of his adult teeth got saved!!! The doctor's statement became a joke! He declaimed that those two molars would never come out like the sun will never rise from the west!!! Shame on you, Dr. Steven Beadnell!!

I have had extensive work completed by Dr. Beadnell and his surgery team. Procedures include extractions, bone grafts and implants. Details have always been carefully explained and I have consistently experienced care and communication with kindness and respect. The results have been excellent and have made my life better! It's such a blessing to receive this high level of dental care and to have teeth restored.

Recently got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Beadnell. He & his staff made my experience the best i could have asked for!! They quickly got me in for a consult and scheduled surgery for two days later. They explained the procedure very thoroughly and each step along the way. There was never a moment of surprise. Surgery was a success and I've had an exceptionally speedy recovery- no bruising, just minimal discomfort and swelling. I went into this procedure with a bit of anxiety but I was completely put at ease. Dr. Beadnell is an exceptional oral surgeon, he is confident in his practice and is willing to take the time to ensure your questions and concerns are addressed. He is extremely generous and truly cares about his patients. Sunset is an excellent oral surgery practice and I highly recommend coming here!

The Portland metro area is fortunate to have one of the nation's greatest oral surgeons right here. He is nationally recognized as a master in his field and a tremendously gifted surgeon. He is confident, brilliant, and at the top of his field. But he is also genuinely friendly, personable, and caring. I just hope he never retires!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Beadnell for your wonderful care.

I had a very complex case that required the removal of three molars, one of which was impacted, the remaining two, abutments for a bridge. Unfortunately my bone density post removal couldn't support implants. Problem was compounded by sinus issues. Dr. Beadnell partnered with my Dentist, Dr. Brad Rabe to develop a treatment plan. Dr. Beadnell is ultra conservative in his treatment plans, under committing but way over delivering, My treatment post extraction entailed a bone graft, followed by the implants, followed by the crowns being installed. This was nearly a three year process but very well worth it. Dr. Beadnell is straight with his patients, ultra conservative in treatment plans, and extremely talented.

I had a dental emergency, and not only did they get me in right away, on a Friday afternoon, no less, but I also had an insurance mixup that they handled with the utmost professionalism. The entire staff was exceedingly kind, caring, and professional. Dr. Beadnell was beyond awesome, and the same can be said of the rest of the staff, from the assistants and nurses, to the billing/insurance department, to the front desk. This is hands down the best oral surgery practice in the whole city. I will be reccomending Sunset Oral and Dr. Beadnell to everyone I know.
