Dr. Steven R. Hinze has provided oral surgery care to residents of Lincoln County and surrounding areas since 1979. Dr. Hinze is Board Certified in Oral Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS) and an Associate in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

He attended UNL and then the University Of Nebraska School Of Dentistry where he obtained his dental degree. Dr. Hinze completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Temple Hospital located in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hinze served as a Captain in the United States Dental Corp at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska from 1973 to 1976. He received an Honorable Discharge. He is licensed to practice in Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa.

Dr Hinze serves the communities in Western, Northern & Central Nebraska as well as communities in Northern Kansas, Eastern Colorado and Southern South Dakota. Dr. Hinze loves what he does and he does it very well. Dr. Hinze served on the Great Plains Regional Medical Center board for 6 years and also on the St. Patricks School Board for 6 years. He was awarded the employer of the year for Lincoln County, where he resides in North Platte with his wife Shari. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.

Our surgical staff includes two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and two Certified Dental Assistants (CDAs). Our doctor and nurses are certified in advanced life support and all surgical staff including front office staff being CPR certified. One of our nurses is a Certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant (COMSA).
