Dr. Hardy was born and raised in Paradise, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and earned his D.D.S. at Northwestern University Dental School, in Chicago, four years later in 1998. After graduating from Northwestern, he went back to Paradise to work with his father, Herbert M. Hardy, at his dental office until he retired in 1999. Dr. Steve bought the practice and worked as a solo dentist until relocating to Las Vegas, where hes had family in the area since the 1940s.
In 2006, Dr. Hardy started up Paradise Family Dental (in honor of his California roots and his wifes Hawaiian roots). His office was originally on the corner of Simmons and Centennial in Centennial Plaza. He built the office from scratch relying on his experience, techniques, optimism and goals of high quality and patient referrals. His dental office has continued to grow and flourish. At the termination of his lease agreement, he and his wife were able to design and remodel the vacant Wachovia Bank and relocated to his current office location. They even brought the 275 gallon salt water aquarium! It is a beautiful office!
Dr. Hardy is married and spends as much time as possible with his beautiful wife and 5 kids. He has three daughters and two sons. They enjoy spending time together at home, school functions, sports, traveling, reading and participating with their church. In his spare time, which is rare, he enjoys sports, playing indoor and sand volleyball.
Dr. Hardy has memberships in the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. He has been voted by his peers as one of Las Vegass Top Dentists every year since 2007.
Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Erica is from Bellflower, CA and has been in Las Vegas since 2005. She has been in the Dental Field since graduating from Cerritos College in 1997 as a Dental Assistant. She began working with Dr. Hardy when he opened his office here in Las Vegas in 2006. She loves working in dentistry because of the opportunity to help other people. She brings her experience as a dental assistant to the front office giving her the ability to work with patients and insurance companies. Ericas spare time is filled with her three children and husband. She also enjoys housekeeping. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Amber was born in Des Moines, Iowa and lived there the majority of her life. She traveled to the fabulous town of Las Vegas with her family in 1997. Amber finished up her high school education at Shadow Ridge High School. Shortly after, she attended High Tech Institute where she got her diploma as a Dental Assistant. While there, she achieved the Academic Excellence and Perfect Attendance Award. Amber has been with Dr. Hardy since 2010. She surrounds herself with the big hearts and happy faces of her family, son, and friends. What she enjoys most about being a Dental Assistant is helping people smile because she believes a smile can brighten the darkest day!
Nancy was born in San Diego, CA but has lived in Las Vegas since she was 3 years old. Having watched the city grow so much, she considers herself a native. Nancy graduated from Rancho High School and then attended CCSN. She is married and has 3 boys. She enjoys traveling, camping, and getting to see places she does not know about. She also likes to serve in her church and the community. Nancy enjoys working in the dental field because, as an assistant, she can contribute and help the patients have a good experience and feel comfortable. She met Dr. Hardy in 2005 and worked with him for a short time at another office as he filled in temporarily. I now have the privilege to work for him at Paradise Family Dental. I enjoy working for him because he is very dedicated and caring with his patients and staff. It is a pleasure to be part of the Paradise Team! Nancy is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
Jill was born and raised in Nephi, Utah where she enjoyed many family adventures going camping and visiting all of the National Parks, which began her love of traveling. After graduating from Juab High School she attended Weber State University where she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1986.
She then moved to St. George, Utah and practiced Dental Hygiene there for 6 years. Jill & her husband moved to Las Vegas in 1993 where she practiced Dental Hygiene part time for another 2 years before taking an extended leave to raise her family. In 2012 Jill returned to Dental Hygiene part time and has worked for several General Dentists and a Pediatric office before beginning work with Dr. Hardy in 2018. Jill has a great desire to help her patients form and maintain positive dental habits for a healthy life.

Dr. Hardy and his team provide excellent dental care. This office practices dentistry with integrity. I have never felt like I was being upsold or given recommendations that were financially motivated. If Dr. Hardy recommends treatment then you can trust that it is reasonable and necessary. The quality of work that he has provided for me and my family has always been top notch. The front and back office staff have always been warm, welcoming and efficient. The dental hygienists are thorough, well trained, and informative. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for an honest dentist and quality care.

Appointment went better then I thought. Virus precautions were in place and I had no fear of being Dr. Hardy's office. My teeth were fine and so was my visit.

office is empty and front desk personnel are polite, showed my insurance papers to verify that I am covered to take care of a cavity and clean teeth, after verification and approval I was told that the Dentist can see me April 10th for the first opening because I am a new client, THIS IS NOT THE WAY ANYBODY SHOULD RUN A BUSINESS. 60 day wait.

He MIGHT be a good dentist. I called today to see about getting an appointment...but was told first available appt not until March. And that would be for XRays only...they would have to set another appointment for a few weeks after that! (I don't think so!)

I am very disappointed with this dental office. Very unprofessional. They are not consistent in their evaluations and at times even rude when asked for clarification. I had my teeth pulled and an upper plate made. I was in horrible pain for a very long time and was told numerous times to wait at least 6 months before adjustments could be made to denture. Well, at 6 months, i was told it would be several hundred dollars to adjust the plate. I was told that "making sure they fit is not included in the cost of the denture." Really?! It has been 2 years and i still cannot chew anything. The denture doesnt fit, doesnt meet any bottom teeth and is crooked. Horrible. Plus they tried to bill my insurance for services i didn't even have done.
