Dr. Goodman and his staff value our patient relationships and make it our priority to deliver gentle compassionate care to each person we see. We work hard to make you feel at ease by providing exceptional care in a relaxed, convenient atmosphere. We strive to develop lifelong relationships with our patients, by combining the latest dental techniques with a professional and experienced staff. The result is a beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime.
Dr. Goodman firmly believes that the teeth Mother Nature gives us are the best. He believes in maintaining the natural teeth for as long as possible (hopefully a lifetime), and if treatment is required, being as conservative as the situation will allow.
Dr. Goodman's practice philosophy is simple...treat people with respect and honesty, and do quality work. He believes it is his responsibility to let patients know any problems they may have, and then give them the options to treat each particular problem. This includes fairly presenting all of the advantages and disadvantages of each choice. Giving the cost in time, money and tooth structure of each option, as well as all the benefits and risks of a given procedure. All this needs to be supplied so that the patient may make the best informed decision on treatment for them.
We also respect people's valuable time, never double-book patients, seeing only one patient at a time. For this reason, barring an emergency, we almost always run on time. This is how we prefer to be treated, and so it is how we treat others...rather simple, but unfortunately found all too rarely in our society.
Dr. Goodman grew up here in Orange County and attended UCLA as an undergraduate. In 1983 he took early acceptance into the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry, the second ranked dental school in the country. Dr. Goodman graduated there in 1987 with his Bachelors and Doctorate degrees in Dental Surgery, and was honored with the Academy of General Dentistry Award for outstanding senior student.
He returned to Southern California and associated, and then purchased a family dental practice that had been long established in Anaheim. His easy-going bedside manner and committment to excellence has allowed his practice to thrive for over 30 years. He treats people with respect and in many cases treats three generations in the same family.
Dr. Goodman keeps all of his licenses current and stays up to date on the latest topics in dentistry with memberships in the Orange County Dental Study Club and the Orange County Endodontic Study Group. He is committed to providing the best individualized treatment for each patients specific wants and needs, and always takes the time to answer any questions you may have.
Monica has worked for Dr. Goodman for 28 years and has a strong following of patients who love her. Her gentle touch and warm personality make even the most nervous patient feel at home.You will find Monica to be an incredible resource and partner in maintaining your oral health.
As a childhood patient with Dr. Goodman, Jennifer has returned to our practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is kind, gentle and thorough and will make getting your teeth cleaned something to look forward to every six months.
As our newest team member, Veronica assists Dr. Goodman during all procedures. Her calm demeanor will help you feel comfortable and welcome. She will do everything she can to make your visit as relaxing and stress free as possible.

Great dentist! I've been going to see him for over 20 years. I've had a lot of cavities when I was younger, and so far my fillings have lasted since the day he filled them. Does really great work.

Great doctor.....doesn't push unnecessary procedures. Gives you options & allows you to decide course of treatment. I was very happy with the doctor he referred me to for a roor canal. Pleased with the new crown I required & the price of it which was reasonable.

Dr Goodman is the very Best Dentist and all persons In the office are wonderful! Monica is an excellent hygienist! Griselda is amazing also! Katie at the desk will make you smile! 13 years of safe and trusted care (and counting) for my family, mom and myself!

I started with Dr. Goodman when I returned from South America in 2006 and from the moment I met him I knew he was the Dentist I wanted and needed. When I moved from Anaheim to Riverside County I thought I would try another Dentist, one that came highly recommended; bad mistake. I had some work done and had nothing but problems. I went back to Dr. Goodman for a consult and decided then and there that it was well worth the 90 miles round trip to have someone that was professional, skilled and interested more in my health than making a quick buck. Several years ago I lost my PPO dental insurance and was put on an HMO (not accepted by Dr. Goodman) again I put aside money issues and stuck with Dr. Goodman and paid out-of-pocket even though I had an HMO; I've never been sorry. He's great, his staff is great and I look forward to seeing them all every 4 months.
