Dr. Caitlin Silverstein was born and raised right here in Kansas City, MO. She attended the University of Missouri Kansas City where she earned a bachelors degree in chemistry and then a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Silverstein lives in Lees Summit with her husband Dave. When shes not in the office, she can be found in the yard playing with her fur-child, Lady, or in the kitchen trying out a new baking recipe. She loves to read and recently began taking cello lessons. When the mood strikes to exercise, she typically uses a yoga mat.
Dr. Paraskevi Panousis is originally from Kennett, Missouri. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and went on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Upon graduation, she received the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association. She enjoys playing tennis, hiking and being outdoors.
Dr. Emily Hutchinson is originally from Sedalia, Missouri. She received her undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and went on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While studying at the UMKC School of Dentistry, she participated in the Advanced Studies Endodontic Honors Program. Upon her graduation from dental school, she received the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Don't go here. Just don't do it. Completely unorganized - I've tried to make this place work for years and they have messed up my last 4 appointments. They never apologize, they are rude, and never try to make the situation right.

I was a patient for a long time , under the impression I was receiving excellent care. However I recently relocated and sought a new dentist and learned a lot of my work was not in fact quality. There are several issues that were identified during my initial appointment with my new dentist, that really left me feeling taken advantage of. Overall my experience with staff was always excellent but the quality of the work I received was not. I would really hate for people to spend thousands of dollars to only need to start over, like me.

Dr. Mingos is the best dental office in the city! I would highly recommend Leilani as a hygienist. Along with the Doctor's great work, she is the best hygienist I have ever had by far! Every trip is the best quality work, efficient, and not to mention fun! Send all your family and friends to this office!

I've been getting my dental care at the Mingos clinic for 40 years and during that time, there was no procedure that was too tough to solve. He has great dentists and hygienists. If u r looking for a dentist, u can't go wrong with dr. Mingos!!!!

I've had an all around awesome experience with Dr Mingos and Associates. The teeth cleaning with Leilani was thorough and educational as she helped me understand more about oral care. I've also had veneers and crowns done by Dr Mingos and his staff. It was an expedited case, and I am incredibly happy with the result and patient care I received. I love the cabin vibe and would highly recommend this practice for people looking for a dentist they can trust.

Terri was my Dental Receptionist. She is the most helpful receptionist ever!! Seriously, she should be given a raise. Sarah and Ella were my Hygienists. Dr Hoffmeister was my DDS. The entire group was amazing. They've all earned my continued business.

Every single person I've encountered in this office has been patient, thoughtful, kind, and thorough in every aspect of dental care, from making appointments to creating a care plan to the dental work itself. One of my children just needed a tooth pulled for the first time and the office quickly got her booked and made the whole experience very chill, we were in and out in 30 minutes and she was bragging about how little the shots in her gums had hurt! For those of us working very hard to stay healthy and avoid covid, their mitigation efforts are A+. They require everyone in the building to wear masks (when not receiving services), have a hospital grade air cleaning system in place, plus individual air purifiers in each treatment room. I've just switched my kids over from their former pediatric dentist for this reason, as their pediatric dentist had none of these measures in place and it did not feel like a healthy or safe experience at all. I'm very grateful for the Mingos experience!

The Cabin is full of fantastic people. Their staff is kind and willing. Going to the dentist can be stressful and not always an ideal trip to the doctors. Thank you Cabin for making a dentist appointment as painless as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Mingos & Associates!

I recently had my first appointment at Dr. Mingos & Associates and it was one of the best dental appointments I have ever had! My dental hygienist, Mary, did a fantastic job of explaining the the different procedures and providing information on the best practices for oral care. Dr. Panousis was welcoming and took the time to thoroughly explain her exam findings. I greatly appreciate how informative they both were. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mingos & Associates to others and I look forward to my next appointment!

Very friendly and helpful staff. All of the dentist and hygienists are knowledgeable and friendly and eager. Willing to answer questions. I'll give you one example of the kind of practice this is. One of my earliest visits was a Saturday morning cleaning and check up. A dentist who I had not seen at the practice before recommended that I have two fillings replaced. This would require two crowns. I resigned myself to this and went in for the follow-up appointment. One of the regular staff dentists reviewed my case and determined that while the fillings needed to be replaced, they could be replaced without the necessity of a crown. She explained that she felt confident that the replacement fillings would last for years and that I could forgo the expense and trouble of having two crowns. I had already resigned myself to this expense and experience but was obviously quite happy. I greatly appreciated that they actually reviewed the findings of other dentist in the practice and were willing to change based on new assessment of the situation. I thought it was great. Highly recommend them.

I just moved to Kansas City and had not even thought about finding a dentist yet. I would tackle that in the spring, I thought.... But then I had a crown pop off and I needed a dentist ASAP! I did my research and found Dr Steven C Mingos and Associates. His many great reviews eased my mind. It was 4:15pm, most dentist closed at 4 but Dr Mingos staff had extended hours! They were there until 7pm! The staff was great! They got me in to see one of their dentist on staff as early as 9am the next morning! My Dentist, Caitlyn was friendly, gentle and efficient. I definitely found the Dentist I will go to for all my dental needs! Highly recommend!

I used to go to Dr. Mingos when I lived in Kansas City. I was recently visiting KC and my crown came off right before I was going to be going into the hospital for surgery. They came to my rescue and put a temporary crown on for me. They saved the day and were a true blessing to me during a super stressful time for me.

I've been a patient at this practice for around 5 years now and they are just the best! Always super prompt with appts and they have such awesome hours for us 8-5 folk. Dental care is great- thorough cleanings and always have time for any questions during the appt. Friendly, fast, great dental care! Patient for life!
