Dr. Steve is a native to the Youngstown area, growing up in Girard and graduating from John F. Kennedy High school. He attended Walsh University for his undergraduate degrees which led him to receiving his doctorate degree from The Ohio State Universitys College of Dentistry. After coming home, Dr. Steve met his wife and got married in 2017. They are now a family of three, recently welcoming their son into the world.
Dr. Steve has been working in the dental field for over 7 years and has traveled all over the country to receive specialized continuing education on cosmetic dentistry, sleep dentistry, orthodontics, and implant dentistry. Dr. Steve enjoys the variety of treatment that general dentistry offers and would love to talk to you about how he can best serve you.
In his spare time, Dr. Steve loves nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. Other hobbies include traveling, watching his favorite Ohio sport teams, indulging in craft beer, and being a handy man around the house.

This is absolutely the best dental experience I have ever had. I was given a full complete exam including checking my gums. They found cavities and the apt was amazing. The dentist took his time understanding my hesitation with the needle like most people have. I was in and out in one hour with 3 teeth being filled. Highly recommend this practice to everyone!!!!

We were patients of Dr Gessner for many years and always received excellent treatment in a friendly caring atmosphere. Dr Steve continues what Dr Gessner started. You might be able to find a dentist office that is as good but you cannot find one that is better. From the front desk on - great caring friendly professional people who treat you like friends not just another client. I appreciate Dr Steve and his staff.

Dr. Steve has been my dentist for several years now. I get quarterly cleanings. I've had several caps. I have an implant. I've had Clear Braces/Invisalign. And I have an apparatus for Sleep Apnea. All done by Dr. Steve. I love my teeth, my smile and it's great to get a good night's sleep. Dr. Steve is an excellent dentist with a great friendly personality.
