I've been going to Dr. Coates for 8+ years now and they have always been very professional, friendly, and helpful to my dental needs and goals. I moved far away from Long Beach a couple years ago and still think my 1 hour + commute is worth it to keep coming back to them!

Fantastic Dentist! Dr Coates is excellent at what he does. On my first visit to the office he took the time to sit down with me after the evaluation to go through my dental history and his observations. This was incredibly helpful and showed how much he cares for his patients. All of the staff I have spoken too, (e.g. front desk, hygienist (Madeleine is fantastic!), or other staff assisting Dr. Coates) were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Coates and his team!

I want to give 5+ stars to Sandra, a new hygienist with Dr. Coates (who has been my dentist for over 20 years). She did a deep cleaning and was exceptional in the prep and completion of the procedure. Her very pleasant and relaxed demeanor, along with clear explanations of each step of the process, made the encounter completely free of any stress.

A most efficiently managed office with a calm, comfortable vibe which makes for an enjoyable experience. I've been with this practice a very long time, and the consistency & professionalism is outstanding and most appreciated. Dr. Coates and his staff are terrific! My hygienist, Madeleine, is excellent at her craft and it's a delight to be in her chair! Funny to say all this about a dental office, but it's all true!
