Dr. Stephen C. Dowell graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in May of 1990. Upon graduation, he purchased the practice of Dr. Charles Trommer, and then started his own dental practice, Dowell Dental Group,located in Carrollton in June of 1990. In 2009, Dr. Dowell built his second location in Minerva.

Dr. Dowell is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Stark County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International College of Oral Implantology. He is constantly continuing his education to better serve you, while keeping his office modern and up to date.

If you have lost all of your teeth in the upper or lower jaws, a traditional full denture is the most affordable option. This type of dental restoration consists of a gum-colored acrylic base and a complete row of artificial teeth. The base fits over your gums and is held in place with a combination of suction and dental adhesive. Each replacement tooth is designed to look absolutely real.
