Dr. Skinner is a Savannah native. After high school, she studied Math and Engineering at Armstrong State University, graduating with her B.S. in Mathematical Sciences in 1992. She then continued her education at Medical College of Georgia, graduating with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1996. She has been practicing a total of 22 years.
Stephanie has one son, Thomas, who loves to keep her on her toes. They love quizzing each other on random trivia knowledge and outwitting each other every chance they get. She also has multiple nieces and nephews that she loves spending family time with.
Dr. Skinner strives to care for her patients as she would her own family. (With most of her patients being part of the practice for more than 15 years, they are part of our family...) She practices with confidence and excellence. Her patients absolutely love her chair-side rapport and she wants everyone to be as comfortable as possible while receiving the care and dental treatment they deserve.

The office and staff are great. Personal and professional at the same time. You're not treated as a number yet the actual work performed is thorough. No cutting corners or hidden upcharge. My mom who's 75 years old had a dental emergency and from the time I called the office to when she was seen by Dr Skinner and treated had taken 4 hrs. Every other office said that it would be weeks in order to be seen . I was really impressed by that. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has Teeth and want to keep them.

I have experienced many dentist offices over the years and Dr.Skinner's office is by far the best in Savannah! They really care about their patients and it shows from the time you walk in until you leave.

Super impressed! What a wonderful location/office/staff/dentist! I have been looking for the right dental home since I moved to Savannah and I must say, I just found it. The hygienist Lori really took her time with my cleaning. She was super kind and very thorough. The Dentist is down to earth and very knowledgeable. This office rocks !

I've been scared, to go see a dentist for years....Dr. Skinner made me so comfortable that I intended to get a lot of work done feeling I could trust her experience and knowledge what needs to be done!

I had such a terror of going to the dentist (bad experience as a child) that I didn't go for almost 20 years. A friend recommended Dr. Skinner. More than two decades later I am going every six months with no fear at all! She has done two crowns and I survived LOL. She and her staff are amazing! We have moved further away but I still make that drive. Very highly recommended her!!!

First time new patient... Dr Skinner and hygienist Hannah were very thorough and pleasant to work with... made me feel relaxed and I especially appreciated their kind comments about my teeth and previous restorations... very nice atmosphere and I also liked their canine mascot

My experience was exceptional! The staff is professional, caring and attentive and the DENTIST is awesome!! I was an emergency patient and you would have thought I'd been with them for years! Thanks to all of you for saving my tooth which was much more than a simple task. Just simply superb!!!!

Hi My name is Mr. Li You Bo I just moved from my hometown to Richmond hill, I'm new to the area, I had two of my teeth pulled out and they didn't hurt and they pulled it out in the matter of seconds, the nurse and the doctor, Stephanie Skinner was especially polite and patient, overall all of them were very respectful.

Relaxing waiting rooms with soft TV, peaceful fish tank, open treatment room with sliding doors overlooking traffic, never felt closed in & greatly appreciated knowledgeable & personable attention! Thank you all!

My kids and I love Dr. Skinner as well as the office staff. Everyone is so kindhearted at this office! Not to mention the waiting room always has fresh coffee brewed, ample and comfortable seating and, a beautifully maintained fish tank. The Children's Room she has setup is complete with toys, books, TV, a small arcade game, and a wii! The kids didn't mind waiting for me to get my dental care, that's for sure. We all will absolutely be seeing her for the foreseeable future.

Dr. Skinner is always professional and courteous. Her staff is exceptional and you never feel like you are an inconvenience. Her office got me in for a toothache, she found nothing wrong but she will continue to monitor it. I appreciate her honestly and caring compassion she showed. Highly recommended!!

I've been going to Dr. Skinner for years. She exceeds beyond all expectations. She is extremely thorough, explains in detail procedures that are needed & answers questions you might have. She's very calm, patient, & personable. She takes her time with you & doesn't make you feel rushed which makes you feel so comfortable & at ease. Her office staff is the same way. They're all awesome & friendly. You get good vibes from the office - they all appear happy & content. And for the office it is beautifully decorated. I would never go anywhere else. Yes

The greatest dentist ever! I have loved her since 2004! She is a person, not a "talk over your head Dr." I had 4 hours off dental work and she and her staff were amazing as usual!
