Dr. Markovitz did a 1-year residency at the University of Maryland advanced general dentistry program and attended the University of Pittsburgh Orthodontic Program where he received his certificate as well as a masters degree. Dr. Markovitz is a Diamond plus provider, which puts him in the top 1% of the Invisalign, trained orthodontists in the country. Dr. Markovitz has significant experience successfully treating challenging Invisalign cases.
Jackie has been in the orthodontic field for over twenty years and has been with our practice for nineteen years. Other than being an orthodontic assistant she is in charge of all Invisalign ordering. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Misty is Dr. Markovitzs treatment coordinator. She assists patients with their treatment goals and will answer all of their questions regarding starting orthodontic treatment. She graduated from CCBC in 2009. She has been assisting in the orthodontic field for over ten years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Robyn has worked in the dental field for over 30 years and has been the insurance coordinator for over 10 years. Outside of work Robyn can be found volunteering with local organizations or spending time at her beach house with her family.
Kristen has been working for Markovitz Orthodontics since 2016. She graduated from McDaniel College in 2014. She works in the front office helping patients from their initial phone calls all the way through their treatment. During her free time she likes to travel with her husband and spend time with their daughter.

Dr.Markovitz and his team has changed my smile for the better! I came to them with an underbite and after a year and a half of orthodontist and surgical treatments my smile and teeth are marvelous! His front desk and assistants are amazing as well by always greeting me by name, making me feel welcomed when I enter. They also collaborated and gave me a gift when I saw them after my triple jaw surgery with a get well card they each signed!! I think the moment that showed me that Dr. Markovitz was different was when I showed up 4 hours late to my last appointment (Train from VA got delayed) and arrived about 10 minutes before they closed. Despite my rough journey, Dr. Markovitz allowed me to come inside and personally removed my braces himself in a timely manner to show off his skill! Most orthodontist would have shut the door in my face but he didn't. And that's why I had to go out of my way to give him a 5 star review!

I have been going to Dr. Markovitz for a little over a year now, (including consultation). I am very, VERY, pleased with the progress of my orthodontic journey. He's patient, he listens, and he makes adjustments as needed. His staff is friendly and professional. One of my goals this year is to finally have a smile I'm proud of and I'm well on my way there!

I got my Invisalign through Dr. Markovitz's harbor location. The support staff at the practice are very good, thorough, and responsive. Dr. Markovitz runs a tight ship and everything is efficient which is how I like it. They always have appointments. They get you in and out while also addressing your concerns. No fluff and no nonsense. It is very clean and above board. My one tooth started shifting a few months after I finished my Invisalign and they brought me back in, made adjustments to my retainer and assured me it would work. A few weeks later, it did and my teeth are back in place.

Had Stanley Markovitz as an orthodontist for 7-8 years now. He is quite affordable, polite, and manages appointments very well. The office is very clean and he is friendly with kids. Some of the employees like Jackie are very sweet, kind, and caring. He educates the patient well and the appointments are usually a breeze with simple, easy to follow instructions and follow up. I would definitely recommend him to others. He also validates parking at this location in you park in the garage attached to the building as a plus!!!!

Love this place!!! They have such friendly staff at any location you visit and they work really well and fast...I got braces this year and was nervous but they helped me through the entire process... just pick a location and you won't be disappointed...great prices and great service
