Dr. Sophia Lee graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Originally raised in North Jersey, she came to the area after undergrad to attend dental school and to start a family. She has called South Jersey her home for more than 20 years.
It was at Penn where she realized her passion of communicating with patients and providing the best dental care unique to each person. Dr. Lee makes it her top priority to create the most comfortable environment for her patients.
Dr. Lee is a multidisciplinary general dentist who has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and endodontics. For the last 10 years, she has been dedicated to continuing education and has trained with some of the nations most forward-thinking dentists in functional occlusion and smile design.
After graduating undergrad with focus in veterinary science, Dr. Lee worked in cancer research for a few years before she decided to pursue an advanced degree in Dentistry. During college, she studied abroad in Ukraine and Sweden and has also backpacked through many countries.
Dr. Lee understands that each patient has unique needs and addresss individual concerns with providing optional solutions. Dr. Lee developed a passion for dentistry after realizing the lasting difference she can make in a patients self-confidence and comfort. She wants her patients to know they have a dentist that they can trust and that she will always provide solid guidance and the right recommendations based on her patients individual needs.
Cindy is a dental hygienist in NJ and PA. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and Associate of Business Administration from Rowan College of Burlington County. She is also CPR certified. Cindy grew up in Pennsauken with her four siblings and parents. When Cindy is not working, she is either traveling the world or spending time with her family.
Megan is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated in 2009 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Rowan College at Burlington County. She also has her certification in Local Anesthesia Administration. She brings her experience and wisdom to work everyday. She cares for everyone and puts her heart into every patient she handles. Megan and her husband Matthew live in Maple Shade with their 2 children and fur babies. When she is not working on your oral health care needs she is very involved in her childrens lives and enjoys weekends away at their family Pocono house.
Marissa is Dr. Lees main Assistant and has been with the office since 2018. You may have seen her in the front checking in patients, or in the back assisting chair side with Dr. Lee since she is trained in both areas. She graduated from assisting school in 2013 and her goal is to create the best standard of care for patients so that they are comfortable and knowledgeable of their treatment during their time in our office. When Marissa is not at DAMS, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, which includes her three children: Derrick, Lailani, and MaKai.
Sania is a dental Assistant in NJ. She has a Bachelors in dentistry from India and she has exploring dental sciences as an assistant in the states since 2017. Sania is really passionate about her work and her top priority is to make sure that patients have a comfortable experience throughout their treatment at Dental Associates of Maple Shade. She is married and lives with her husband in Maple Shade and loves to cook and go out hiking.

Excellent service all around. Dr Lee is great. I had a filling done a few months ago that was done poorly by someone else and Dr Lee was able to fix it all while accommodating my more complicated schedule needs.

Best dentist ever! My teeth are not the strongest. Is very usual for me to have cavities despite taking very good care of my teeth. Having a great dentist by my side does make a difference. My smile is way better ever since I started seeing Doctor Lee.

Dr. Lee and her team are fantastic. I appreciate their punctuality for appointments and the time they take listening to any questions or concerns you have. Dr. Lee provides clear treatment recommendations and is always willing to answer questions. Also, you can see your x-rays and chart during your appointment which is really neat. Highly recommend this practice!

Melissa and Dr. Lee are always so friendly, inviting, they are thorough, and make sure I understand my condition and give clear recommendations on what may help me. They also supplied me with a toothpaste specific for helping my current issue of bleeding. Thank you all so much for everything!!

Such a great staff. Very friendly and time efficient. I've never waited for long but they're still apologetic for any wait. Techs talk you through each step as they go and do a great job making sure you feel comfortable.

I saw Dr Lee yesterday for the first time. My hygienist Megan was very nice! I had X-rays, a cleaning and an exam! I have always been afraid of the dentist but coming here worked out just fine! I'll be returning soon for more treatment and am not concerned one bit!!

This is the only dental practice I've ever been to where I can honestly say I look forward to my appointment! The staff is great, always friendly and accommodating. Megan is a great hygienist, always get a great and thorough cleaning. Dr. Lee is a very talented dentist and is amazing with cosmetics as well! The office itself is beautiful, been a patient for years and highly recommend.

First time going here and it was a great experience. I have a lot of dentist anxiety, but everybody at this office was so friendly and made the experience more comfortable. The dental hygienist was so nice and was careful to not cause me any pain on my sensitive teeth. I briefly met with Dr. Lee and she was very thorough and answered all my questions without recommending any needless dental work like many other dentists do. Highly recommend this office!
