Dr. Sophia Lee graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Originally raised in North Jersey, she came to the area after undergrad to attend dental school and to start a family. She has called South Jersey her home for more than 20 years.
It was at Penn where she realized her passion of communicating with patients and providing the best dental care unique to each person. Dr. Lee makes it her top priority to create the most comfortable environment for her patients.
Dr. Lee is a multidisciplinary general dentist who has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and endodontics. For the last 10 years, she has been dedicated to continuing education and has trained with some of the nations most forward-thinking dentists in functional occlusion and smile design.
After graduating undergrad with focus in veterinary science, Dr. Lee worked in cancer research for a few years before she decided to pursue an advanced degree in Dentistry. During college, she studied abroad in Ukraine and Sweden and has also backpacked through many countries.
Dr. Lee understands that each patient has unique needs and addresss individual concerns with providing optional solutions. Dr. Lee developed a passion for dentistry after realizing the lasting difference she can make in a patients self-confidence and comfort. She wants her patients to know they have a dentist that they can trust and that she will always provide solid guidance and the right recommendations based on her patients individual needs.
Cindy is a dental hygienist in NJ and PA. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and Associate of Business Administration from Rowan College of Burlington County. She is also CPR certified. Cindy grew up in Pennsauken with her four siblings and parents. When Cindy is not working, she is either traveling the world or spending time with her family.
Megan is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated in 2009 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Rowan College at Burlington County. She also has her certification in Local Anesthesia Administration. She brings her experience and wisdom to work everyday. She cares for everyone and puts her heart into every patient she handles. Megan and her husband Matthew live in Maple Shade with their 2 children and fur babies. When she is not working on your oral health care needs she is very involved in her childrens lives and enjoys weekends away at their family Pocono house.
Marissa is Dr. Lees main Assistant and has been with the office since 2018. You may have seen her in the front checking in patients, or in the back assisting chair side with Dr. Lee since she is trained in both areas. She graduated from assisting school in 2013 and her goal is to create the best standard of care for patients so that they are comfortable and knowledgeable of their treatment during their time in our office. When Marissa is not at DAMS, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, which includes her three children: Derrick, Lailani, and MaKai.
Sania is a dental Assistant in NJ. She has a Bachelors in dentistry from India and she has exploring dental sciences as an assistant in the states since 2017. Sania is really passionate about her work and her top priority is to make sure that patients have a comfortable experience throughout their treatment at Dental Associates of Maple Shade. She is married and lives with her husband in Maple Shade and loves to cook and go out hiking.
