As the daughter of Dr. Solon Alexiou, Dr. Barbara has always admired her father and is excited to be following in his footsteps. Dr. Barbara is a Hudson High School graduate and attended Ohio University for undergraduate and The Ohio State University for graduate school. Making sure that her patients are comfortable and helping her patients maintain optimal oral health are Dr. Barbaras top priorities. She enjoys her time off taking care of her two daughters, Evie and Althea, and spending time with her wonderful husband, Ben.
Anna joined the practice in 2013 as Dr. Barbaras assistant. She graduated from Fortis with a degree in dental assisting and is HIPPA/OSHA/Radiology certified which allows her to utilize her skills both chairside and at the front desk. Anna has participated in continuing education to further her insurance and billing knowledge, to help our patients utilize their insurance to its maximum potential. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and five kids, watching sporting events, gardening, and cooking.
Lynn has been with Alexiou Dental Arts since 1993 where she is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is originally from Iowa and got her hygiene license from Cuyahoga Community College. Lynn enjoys helping her patients maintain their best smile and loves that she is now seeing patients whose parents she treated as children.
Mackenzie has been a Dental Hygienist with Alexiou Dental Arts since September of 2016. She was born and raised in Orrville and currently reside in North Canton with her husband, Stephen. She graduate with honors from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene along with certification in the administration of Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Sedation and as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, boating on Lake Mohawk, and cheering on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Mackenzie strives to make every dental experience pleasant and enjoys interacting with all her patients and building relationships with them. She looks forward to her future here at Alexiou Dental Arts, and helping all patients achieve a confident smile!
Autumn has been a dental assistant with Alexiou Dental since 2017. She earned her dental assisting certification through a career education program and graduated from Kenmore High School in 2016. She is currently in the process of obtaining her EFDA certification at Stark State. In her spare time she enjoys playing recreational softball and spending time with her nephews and niece
Jacia is the newest member to our team as a dental assistant starting with us in August 2021. She pursued a dental assiting program through a career center while in high school and graduated from Mogadore High School in 2020. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being with her dogs, and spending time outdoors.
