Dr. Lindquist took over for my previous provider. In a years time I noticed the staff drastically change. Gone were all the people I loved. To me, this meant either unhappy staff... or an unhappy doctor with daid staff. In January 2018 I received a replacement crown (it was 11 years old) from Dr. Lindquist. I was told during this appointment i could never receive another replacement as there wasn't enough tooth left. I understood this to be truth as she was the doctor. The crown was made in-house. A few months later the entire inside wall of the crown fell off. It took too long to get an appointment (nearly 2 weeks) and to me it appeared Dr. Lindquist did not allow room in her schedule for emergency appointments. As this is exactly what happened when the original crown had fallen off. I'd waited then as well. When I went in to address the breakage, Dr. Lindquist immediately said I would need a new crown. She obviously had not familiarized herself with my chart. I reminded her that she had said I could not have another crown as there wasn't enough tooth left. She said "oh, you're right" and told me she could either extract the tooth or fill the wall. I opted to fill the wall. A week later the other side of the crown began to crack and chip. Due to numerous other reasons I was done with Dr. Lindquist as I'd lost confidence in her abilities. I made an appointment to see a different dentist. The new dentist advised me: 1) the wrong material was used for my crown as I was known to grind and clench my teeth. 2) my mouth guard should have been adjusted after each visit. I had asked Dr. Lindquist of this, to which she said if it felt fine it did not need to be adjusted. And 3) I could indeed receive a new crown. I had plenty of tooth and all that needed to be done was lower my margains. Next started the worst part with Dr. Lindquist. The new dentist advised me of my options to have the new crown covered financially as insurance would not pay for two crowns in less than a year. The option I took, as it seemed most fair, was to contact Dr. Lindquist and work with her to have the claim reversed. I was double covered by the same insurance company and they had advised me this was a simple, common option as customers have the right to adequate treatment from their choice of provider. To keep the story short it literally took months to get some sort of response from Dr. Lindquist. She refused calls back. My calls were pushed to voice mail unless I called from random numbers and not my cell. She told the insurance company she would reverse the claim, then demanded I show proof from my current dentist that I received a new crown and paid out of pocket. I provided everything. She eventually wrote a letter stating she could not reverse the claim. That being doubled covered made it too complex. (Again I'm double covered by the same company). And that she was seeking the advice of an attorney to find a solution that would make me happy. I'd been in contact throughout this time with the insurance company. After this they'd advised me I could submit a formal complaint/grievance. I submitted s 6 page write up with documentation. After a few weeks the insurance company found her st fault and thankfully demanded repayment. It's now December and my new dentist has finally received their payment for the crown and happily has reimbursed me. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Lindquist. I could go on and on with my reasons. Ultimately her professionalism, integrity, lack of allowing time in her schedule for emergencies, and poor work quality would be my top reasons.
