It was in her native country of India that Dr. Khandwala first fell in love with dentistry. She graduated from dental college in Mumbai in 1990 and practiced with a leading oral surgeon for the next five years. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree after relocating to the States in 1998. In 2007, she received her Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry and completed additional implant training at Loma Linda University in 2009.
In addition to thousands of hours of continuing education, Dr. Khandwala was recently awarded the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. This prestigious award represents 1,100 hours of coursework in 16 branches of dentistry.
She is also a member of the American Academy of Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. She continues to pursue training in dental specialties so she can provide the highest-quality care possible to every patient.
Dr. Khandwala and staff are so professional and friendly I enjoy my visits to her office. Dr Ks work is excellent and she is constantly learning new procedures and has the latest equipment available to the dental profession. Its a great office!

have looked and looked for a good dentist, but thankfully I have found the most amazing dentist that really cares about me and the life of my teeth. You have to meet her if you want a dentist that does it all!!! I looked forward to seeing the dentist. No more fear or stress. I could not recommend this office!

I have been going to this dental location for over 20 years now. My experience has always been great and when Dr. Khandwala took over it only got better. Dr. K is the best. She is always so personable and friendly and very consultative. She lets me know what all my options are. The staff is top notch too, Simran and Mee (apologies that I am probably not spelling their names right) are the best. Always so kind and friendly.

Dr. Smita and her whole staff are expedient, welcoming and kind. She numbed me up good and then asked how I was feeling the whole way through. Not to mention her front staff did the leg work on my insurance and gave me a lower estimate than I've ever gotten from a dentist. I am incredibly impressed. She'll be my dentist forever. Everyone was so nice. The moment I walked in I was greeted, and when I was seen inside the exam room the staff was also very nice and knowledgable. This is the first time I've been to a dental office where I did not feel like they were just rushing. I felt heard and cared for. I'm so glad I found this office.

Dr Smita Khandwala is the best! I have been to many dentists before but none have come close to her. She is a phenomenal professional! She is extremely experienced in her skill and ability and up to date on the latest technology in her trade. Not to mention she is very caring of her patients. She explains clearly what the problem is you may be having and the proposed treatment to mitigate the problem. I came to Dr. Smita Khandwala with a very sensitive problem and thought that I was going to loose several teeth. Dr. Smita Khandwala was kind and compassionate and developed a plan to mitigate my dental problem. I recommend her to all!

I had my first visit today and I'm so impressed ! Dr Khandwala and her entire team was phenomenal ! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and informative. I first starting going to Dr. Khandwala's practice after a six year gap in my dental work. She and her team have all been incredibly kind and gentle while working on my teeth and I was never shamed for my poor dental hygiene leading up to my first appointment. It was a lot of work at first to get me back to where my dental health needed to be, but my teeth and gums are now doing better than they have been and I'm so pleased! In the course of two years I went from having gingivitis and borderline gum disease to now only needing regular cleanings. Thank you Dr. Khandwala, Grace, Simran, Joanne, and the rest of the team!
