Dr. Kayvon Javid has dedicated his life to changing the way you view dentistry. While he showcases his artistry in his daily scheduled surgeries, his primary goal is to educate the community on preventative care, to keep his patients healthy and living long and ample lives. The message he likes to spread to his clientele is help us, help you. Most things in life can be tackled more efficiently when combatted with a team or partnership, and he sees dentistry as being no different. Dr. Mariam Nadi has been serving the Southbay area for the past 16 years. Along with her husband of 20 years, Dr. Kayvon Javid, who is also a dentist, together they have built an entirely new office from scratch in order to incorporate some of the latest available technologies and innovations in dentistry to enhance her patients experience. The philosophy of the design is to maximize the use of the technology in the office to increase comfort, to minimize the patient chair time, and to limit the total amount of visits to complete the treatment plan.

I visited Dr. Smile after learning that I needed a tooth pulled and an implant. I was more than a little nervous about the process, mostly the pain. It has now been almost two weeks since the procedure and shockingly it has been a walk in the park. No pain (though I did get knocked out), no swelling, no complications at all. I took ibuprofen 800 for a couple of days after, but probably did not even need that as I never felt any pain. The doctors and staff are also very friendly and the communication is A+ in that they explain everything clearly, and follow up with plenty of reminders. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing dental work.

My name is Julie Pe y t o n I am 61 years old I would like to tell you not just in well described words about Dr smile San Pedro office the doctor and entire staff from the very start I just had a very good feeling and this Instinct has proven correct by their actions I had spent a lot of money in the past what I thought was the best Dentistry why doctors smile is a notch above all the rest I noticed that their Dental Care was extremely truly caring with Precision with each tooth if something wasn't correct they went back and made sure it was exactly right procedures actually lifted up my bite to what was one of our goals and it did it very quickly their care extended to explaining each situation to me this was a huge difference and understanding what exactly was going on and why past dental was not successful carewith each t o o and showed me exactly what was happening what was going on why they needed to do what they needed to do many dentists just tell you that you need something done they really had to reconstruct the upper and lower with each denture and it brings me to another part that is outstanding with Dr smile the teeth look wonderful the teeth and the fit of the Denture I had never had it so comfortable as to the work that they achieved Dr smile I received a phone call at night and saying that I may need to wear the Denture because they were concerned I had a past dental implant that was hanging over my lip this is how bad my jaw had changed my teeth had changed very rapidly I have to tell you the work they did actually make immediate changes to my smile it lifted up my lips my smile my outside smile had changed so much over the past years due to what was happening with my teeth and jaw I want to tell you that they have the most caring compassion and kindness and even their touch when doing the work they have the best tools and equipment best up-to-date that Dentistry can offer as said I had other Dental experiences and contrary to what I was told it did not last it was not a lifetime and because teeth were simply just replaced at a very expensive cost that jaw and the teeth movement was just a nightmare story to what was happening to me I want to tell you my teeth have really almost never looked better since my first natural teeth that I had many years ago it's because you will be satisfied I am very convinced of it because of all that detailed work and time that each staff member doctor hygienist puts into your smile these are not just words this was a very serious situation of my job completely overlapping today a beautiful smile and when they say I need a tooth replaced by a dental implant they show me exactly why that Crown will not hold eventually they showed me other details of how my jaw work what they were doing when Dr Kay would come in he would absolutely make sure that it was to the precise precision of how the teeth also looked how my jaw looked I had never experienced such care and the confidence I felt going into this situation it is an Endeavor and it is can be financially a lot they understand this and I think that they work with each person to make the situation possible so you could have the most healthy happy smile and to your facial structure you've ever had they are proof and my situation to the outstanding professional work and human caring by Dr smile in San Pedro's office you owe it to yourself to give doctor smile a call and see the difference and the results there is so much more to dentistry and just replacing a tooth I will tell you with all honesty I had never had such comfortable good looking and effective denture ever never had I had the result of lifting my jaw when I got that phone call at night I really saw the interest that they have to make sure one of my crowns was not being disrupted at night and I know that this person took this upon their selves of thinking of myself as the client and made that call.the This testimony was written by a client whom understood why you need this information you owe this to yourself.

I am very nervous about coming to the dentist. However that is not the case if I am to see Dr. Kayvon, heis very good at what he does and makes me feel very comfortable to the point where I don't feel the time had passed and all is done without me realizing it. I will never have any dentist touch my mouth. I would not feel comfortable with any other dentist. Dr. Kayvon is the only reason why I go for any dental work. Dr. Kayvon is amazing!!!

First off, this review is beyond over due. Dr Smile in San Pedro has been amazing with me and my family and has made us feel like relatives to say the least. However this review is specifically intended to shout out and mention honorably Paulette who has been my hygienist for the past 3 plus years. It may sound a bit extra to you but she has my smile in the spotlight everywhere I go. She loves what she's doing and it shows in her work. She most definitely goes the extra mile when I'm in her chair and I will not make an appointment with anyone else since she came into my life. This is me doing my best to express to anyone reading this how my experience was absolutely 100% a pleasure. Paulette you are THE BEST EVER and can't wait for my next appointment!!!!! Oh yeah my 6 year old loves her too.

I had been coming to Dr Smile for several years and recently went back after the pandemic. The service is consistently professional. I had major dental procedures done, and my doctors patiently explained each one. My hygienist Paulette is a pleasure to work with and shows genuine concern. The admin staff are well organized. I highly recommended Dr Smile, San Pedro.

They are so good, it's kind of scary. First I must confess I am emotionally horrified of the visiting the dentist, but when I have an appointment to this dental facility I am eager to be there on time. The staff is patient and PROFESSIONAL, all caps because some businesses don't know what that means anymore, but they do! Okay that was just the front desk. The dentist, oral hygienists, dental assistant, Lotti Dotti everybody acts on one accord. Everyone is focused on designated details so accurately, I can honestly say I feel safe and at peace in their care. If I had only one word to describe the experience it would be: Symphony

Paulette did my cleaning. She has great hands. Educated me on my oral hygiene. Came here for a loose crown but she found that it was a loose tooth and now Dr Kayvon is taking my tooth and doing implant! I feel like im in great hands! Would recommend Dr Smile! Ive been coming here for a long time! Very happy with the services and how personable the staff is.

First I want to say that I don't generally write reviews but I'm so happy with the treatment I'm receiving. I've had some major dental work done, and it has virtually been pain free. I still have more work to be done but have the utmost confidence in Dr.Smile. I'm so excited to be on this journey of receiving implants and to having teeth once again. If you are thinking of having any dental work done , I deffinently recommend Dr. Smile.

When I went in for an implant, I was originally very nervous and afraid. I was worried for nothing (: I was kindly prescribed pain meds, but it turned out I didn't even need Tylenol!! I felt zero discomfort, zero pain, and honestly it was less intrusive and disturbing then I imagined. The staff and doctors are wonderful, I highly encourage & recommended this office.

I have been a patient at Dr. Smile, San Pedro, for 13 years. The office is located a short drive away. The facility is very clean and well equipped with the latest. Dr. Nadi, Irene, the hygienist, and the office staff, do all they can to help me feel comfortable and at ease. I am very happy with this dentist office.

The staff and doctors are amazing! They are always welcoming and explain everything before you go in and after. They make payment processes easy and I love how they text me before my appointments to let me know how much my co pay will be and confirm my appointments. I always refer friends and family to them! Definitely a wonderful place to go

I love this place.Fom front desk staff to Dr Nadi n Dr Kay makes dental procedure so comfortable. They follow up apt n time & ensure the time/day works for us. Dr Kay did wisdom tooth extraction so professionally executed i don't feel its gone. Dr Nadi did my teeth filings with excellence she's kind & compassionate.she explains everything beforehand n make sure we don't feel discomfort inbetween procedures, I feel safe n in good hands .Thank you Dr Smile San Pedro!
