Dr. McAninch ('Dr. Mac' as he is known to patients) received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Tulane University prior to attending Emory University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He also completed a Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Florida and has been providing outstanding dental care for children since 1989. He is committed to continuing education and maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Sarasota Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. McAninch also stays active in his community and volunteers/supports multiple organizations within the local community.
Dr. McAninch and his wife, Shannon, have four children: Chris, Jack, Brendan and Kathleen. When Dr. McAninch is not in the office he enjoys attending a spin class, walking on the beach or the Ringling Bridge with his wife and spending time with family and friends.

Andrea was born and raised in Sarasota and has been working with Dr. Mac for over 20 years.What she loves about her job are the new people she meets every day and her wonderful co-workers that are also her closest friends.
Bonnie was originally born in New Jersey and moved to Sarasota in 1990. Bonnie has been with Dr. McAninch for over 17 years. Bonnie w a very integral part of our office accepting and filing insurance for our patients. If there is a question about insurance, Bonnie can answer it.
Originally from Panama City, Florida, Connie has lived in Sarasota since 1972 and is very proud to be a true Floridian. She received her dental education in Tampa, FL and became certified that same year after graduation in 1982. Connie worked briefly in general dentistry but her passion for pediatrics has kept her in this field for the past 29 years, 22 of them with Dr. McAninch.
Connie is married to a local Sarasotan, Wayne Garrett; Wayne is a retired MLB player. They have four grown daughters.When not working, Connie enjoys the beach, fishing in Boca Grande, reading and working out. Connie is one of 10 children and she is always ready to travel northwest to visit her large family.
Lynn began working for Dr. Mac in December of 1990. Whether it 's their first visit or their last, Lynnenjoys making a child 's visit a positive, fun, and enjoyable experience. 'I lovebeing part of something that has such a positive effect in a child 's life. The best part of my job is watching a child leave our office happy, comfortable and with a big smile on their face'.
Lynnwas born and raised in Sarasota. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters and adorable granddaughter.When I am not at work I enjoy, taking care of my granddaughter, the outdoors, photography and my family and friends.
Marrianne was born and raised in Ocala until age 7. She then lived in Ohio for two years, and then moved to Sarasota. She graduated from Venice High School in 1986 and Concorde Career Institute for E.F.D.A. in 1992.
Marrianne is married toAnthony and they have a blended family of five children, three grandsons, and a beautifulgranddaughter.In her free time, she can be found cooking, sewing, surfing, kayaking, reading or spending time with her threedogs.
