I'm not gonna sugar-coat it (because sugar ain't the best for teeth, #irony), but also because I tell it like it is. This place makes going to the dentist something, not only nonthreatening, but contrarily something to excitedly await. The staff are remarkable people. Always smiling and laughing and ATTENTIVE. I rarely use all-caps, but the fact that a staff in any medical facility is genuinely concerned with your comfort level and well-being needs to be emphasized. Dr. (Shylah) Gabriel is a magician with the tools of the trade. I've needed some fairly extensive work done thus far and she's so devoted to making sure that the patient is pain/stress-free. I always find it funny because she does regular checks when giving shots for the numbing agent, and I've NEVER felt a shot from her....EVER; not even the first/initial shot. (I usually need some extra shots for my toofs, but even on the third shot in, she's always making sure everything is okay) If there's any downside to a visit (and this is not a downside), it's that at some point during the visit you'll probably find yourself laughing out loud with Shylah or one of her associates and this laughter might delay your visit a couple minutes (told you it wasn't an actual downside). This is not the dentist appointment that frightened people far and wide 30 years ago; it's like going to hang out with friends who just so happen to be REALLY good at dentistry. I cannot thank Shylah enough for her skills, attention to detail, and stellar chairside manner. Dental work is never fun, but a visit to Posh will clearly bend, if not reverse, that perception. It's my plan to move out of Arizona in the near future and one of the only reasons I will return will be for the awesomeness of the Posh staff and Dr. Gabriel. Do yourself a favor and make them your next dental visit. If someone were to offer you an awesome DMV equivalent that had music, laughs, no lines, or frustration, wouldn't you go check out that DMV (MVD in AZ)? Yes, of course you would. ;)
