Dr. Sherry Rauch is a family dentist in Irmo, SC. Dr. Rauch is a native of South Carolina. Her path towards dentistry was a little unconventional. She was a Mechanical Engineer (Georgia Tech 1992) for eleven years first. She worked in HVAC and automotivespeaker manufacturing before deciding on a career change.
Dr. Rauch received her DDS at Indiana University in 2008 (IUPUI). She gained additional knowledge and refined her clinical skills through a General Practice Residency program at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She then opened Dutch Fork Family Dentistry in 2011.
Dr. Rauch and her husband Anthony stay busy with their precocious 7 year old daughter while cheering on their 20 year old son who is a member of the SC Air National Guard. Her family resides in Chapin and they learn and grow in their faith at Decided Church in Irmo. Her hobbies include traveling as much as possible, and hiking the beautiful state parks of SC, bird watching and SCUBA diving.
Ashley, a native of Augusta, GA, has been a dental hygienist forover four years. She earned her degree from the College of Allied Health at Augusta University. Ashley is ouryoungest team member, but her work ethic is that of an old soul. Sheis agreathygienist whostrives to provide the best healthcare to her patients while ensuring their comfort.
Rudell is a native of Chapin, SC. She has been a hygienist over 25 years. She was the first hygienist at Dutch Fork Family Dentistry, and no doubt was instrumental in our early success as patients came to understand it IS possible to have a thorough cleaning while still being comfortable. Her kind and easy manner sets everyone at ease.
Angela is a master at her craft with over 28 years in assisting. She was the original team member when Dutch Fork Family Dentistry opened in 2011. Angela's knowledge and assisting skills make it seem effortless. In 2020, Angela became our front desk coordinator on Thursdays, so she is still expanding her skillset. Angela, a native of Cayce, now makes her home in Newberry with her husband. Angela is blessed with 9 grandchildren. She worships and serves the Lord at Ambassador's Christian Center. She loves to be a servant to others and God's creatures.
Daphne has been a good friend and teammate of Dr. Rauch for 7 years. Daphne's experience as an assistant and front desk coordinator extend more than 28 years. She is indispensable to both patients and the rest of the dental team. Daphne is a native of Chattanooga, TN, but she has made her home in Irmo for over 30 years. She and her husband share in the joy of their 5 grandchildren and two dogs.
Courtney is native to Chapin, SC and has been an assistant for over 25 years. Her closest ally in dentistry has always been her twin sister who is also an assistant. Courtney and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors with their two sons who love boating and fishing.
Nicole has practiced hygiene for 15 years; having received her hygiene degree from Midlands Tech. She earneda Bachelors in Business Administration at the College of Charleston. Nicole is enthusiastic about dental care and works to help her patients achieve their best oral health.Nicole is a native of Irmo and makes her home in Chapin with her husband and their adorable young daughter. They both share a love of animals and have 6 fur babies. Nicole enjoys playing the piano and loves serving in the music ministry at her church.
