After graduatingfrom Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science, Dr. Metz attended the top dental school in the country, the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he received his D.D.S. degree in 1997. Dr. Metz continued his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UTHSC, during which time he was ranked in the top of his class. Dr. Metz then obtained his Medical Doctorate from UTHSC in 2001 and is a licensed medical physician. He went on to complete the remainder of his 6 year post-doctorate residency in San Antonio.
Dr. Metz is originally from the Houston area. After completing his specialty training, he returned to Houston with his family to enter into private practice in the Memorial area of Houston. Dr. Metzs experience is in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and grafting procedures.
Dr. Seidel grew up in south Texas. After graduating from Alice High School, she attended Baylor University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She then pursued her D.D.S. degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. After graduating in 1999, she entered the integrated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Texas. During this time, she gained the requisite knowledge and skill to obtain her certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as obtaining her Medical Doctorate Degree.
Following her medical training, Dr. Seidel chose to remain in the Houston area. She provides her patients true full scope Oral and Facial Surgery care with a gentle touch. When not performing surgery, Dr. Seidel enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter as well as being involved in many social activities in her community.
Dr. Seidel is held in extremely high regard for her family and work dedication including the fact that she continues to support the University of Texas through mentoring new and soon to be graduates of the Dental School.
Dr. Orfanos was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Development. He began his dental school education at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 2002. At Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH (one of the nations top universities), Dr. Orfanos completed a broad scope training program and acquired his Medical Doctorate as well as a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Orfanos joined the already respected OMSH practice and was able to contribute to the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His specific interests and expertise are in dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and sleep apnea. In his free time, Dr. Orfanos enjoys playing golf, photography, cooking, working on his familys ranch, and spending time with his wife and baby daughter. He is an avid sports fan, and besides following his Aggies, he looks forward to following Houstons own sports teams again.
