Graduating in 2005, Dr. Kumra has been treating patients for seven years. Attending James Madison University for undergraduate studies, he then went on to study at the University of Maryland Dental School. Since 2006, Dr. Kumra has volunteered his time at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and was awarded the Ellen S. Flanagan Volunteer Award in 2008.
Their ultimate goal is to serve each customer and make each experience a pleasant one, stopping at nothing to ensure that you leave feeling more satisfied. When patients use the knowledge gleamed from each visit, they will have a better chance of enjoying a simple cleaning every six months.

Dr. Kumra is simply amazing! I have been his patient now for about 10 years and he is just super nice, caring, accommodating, and smart. I now live about 20 miles from his practice in Alexandria but still choose to drive the distance for my dental needs. Thank you for all you do Dr. Kumra!

Dr. Kumra and his team are amazing. They are very attentive, know you by the name. I have been their patient for almost ten years, now with my two boys, 9 and 5 also ho see them. I highly recommend Dr. Kumra.

Dr. Kumra always gives you his full attention even when he is very busy. He will patiently answer any questions or address any concerns you might have. He remembers the details and follows up with you - even personally calling you at home. I really appreciate that. He is calm and respectful to everyone. I highly recommend Dr Kumra.

He and his staff genuinely care about their patients and make you feel like family. He always remembers details of past appointments and follow-up work that needs to be completed. He is honest, so conversations about follow-up care are very easy to have. He is very transparent about the cost of care and will work with you and your insurance provider to make sure your costs are low. I would highly recommend Dr. Kumra, without hesitation.

Dr. Kumra has been a fantastic dentist for me and my wife for years now. He's incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He genuinely cares about that task at hand- you can literally see the focus and attention in his eyes. He'll notice the smallest bead of sweat and ask if you're ok or in any pain. He's also very economical and will suggest the truly best options for saving you money. It's a rate trait in doctors these days. My insurance (Kaiser Permanente) only covers basic dental appointments and he makes sure I don't need anything else! Highly recommended! PS- I go to the Elegant Smiles location in the Virginia Square/Ballston/Clarendon area
