Dr. Habakus grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate studies at Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA, where he obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology/pre-dentistry in 1990. Dr. Habakus attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1994. Dr. Habakus was one of only three doctors in the country accepted into the St. Joseph's Hospital General Practice Residency program in 1994.
Completingadvanced courses comprised of all facets of dentistry, allows Dr. Habakus to provide the very best care for his patients. Dr. Habakus far exceeds the minimum number of continuing education hours required to maintain his active dental license. He is certified in CPR.
Kim is a 1983 graduate of Harcum Junior College, receiving an Associates Degree from the Dental Assisting Expanded Functions program. Upon graduation, she worked in the Orthodontic field and in 1985 transitioned into processing dental and medical claims for Aetna Insurance Company. Kim has been happily employed with Dr. Habakus since 1998, shortly after he opened his Douglassville dental office. She enjoys managing the front office and assisting patients with questions about their treatment and dental insurances. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors in her garden. Kim enjoys decorating and helping to restore her 1876 stone farmhouse with her husband. Kim is a devoted wife and proud mother to her three talented children.
Catherine is a Registered Dental Hygienist. I am originally from New York and attended New York City Technical College to complete my Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been practicing hygiene since 1984(OMG!). I attained my Pennsylvania hygiene license upon relocating in 1990. I reside with my husband, a son in high school, daughter in middle school, my parents, 2 dogs and a Russian tortoise. I should be living in an ark! Kidding aside, my days are certainly filled with the daily wife/mother endeavors, but I look forward to enjoying a good book and family togetherness. I thank God for the many blessings He has given me in my life. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Habakus team. They accepted me into their office in 2006 without even looking to add onto their staff! I receive much joy in knowing the difference I make in my patients health and my motto is enjoy what you do and you will never work a day in your life!
Jackie has been a dental assistant with Dr. Habakus since 2002. She is certified to take dental radiographs and has completed General Education and Science courses from Montgomery County Community College and Immaculata University. Jackie continues to seek ways toimprove her dentalknowledge and, in 2009, completed her Dental Assistant program from Penn Foster Career School. Jackie's focus is on quality patient care, and helping the office run smoothly for the entire dental team. In Jackie's free time, she enjoysspending time outdoorswith her two children.

Love this place. I won a free whitening treatment prior to Covid in a Daniel Boone High school basket fundraiser and they honored it years later. I also had to wait until my braces came off. No hassle. Loved the experience so much! They treated me like family. I am now a client. I have been coming for a couple years now. I appreciate the attention and the care. Clean, professional and family friendly. Highly recommend.

Doctor and staffs are very nice and friendly. Doctor answered all of my questions and help me figured out the best way to care for my teeth that will fit my budgets. Clean office, lots of parking.

I have been going to Dr. Habakus for 10+ years and will never switch. All staff is kind, informative, and seems to enjoy their job. Would recommend for both adult & child dentistry.

Fabulous Dental Practice!!!! Kim at the front desk was great getting us all set up and handling records transfer and insurance. Lisa the hygienist was very thorough and answered all my 16yo's questions about wisdom teeth, flossing & fluoride. And Dr Habackus joked around like he's known us forever!! Definitely found our new dental home!!!

Definitely found our new dental home!!!

Dr. Habakus and all of his staff are truly exceptional in everyway. When you go there, they are so warm and kind. They put you at ease and they keep the atmosphere light. Make no mistake, however, because this is a professional office and they are serious about doing the best job they can for the patient. There are so many dentists that are closer to my address, but, I happily travel the distance in order to receive the quality of care that this practice provides.

Our whole family has been going to see Dr. Habakus for over 15 years. The hygienists are all wonderful! We always feel very comfortable and any issues we have had are treated promptly and with great care. It is a very family friendly atmosphere and I have never felt like just another patient. The staff takes the time to get to know us and understand our needs. Highly recommend!

We love Dr. Habakus and his staff. Our entire family goes there twice a year so we are there a lot and have gotten to know the entire staff. Our children, ages 6 and 3 and 11 months are treated like family. We feel so warm and welcome whenever we are there. They really know how to treat clients of all ages. My older two children have had such amazingly positive experiences. Fearing the dentist isn't even a concept for them. They actually look forward to going. I know friends who drive quite a distance for a pediatric dentist and I always ask them why! Dr. Habakus and his staff are professional AND parents--they know just what to do to keep each member of our family healthy and happy.
