Dr. Sharon Dickerson, a Michigan native, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1988. In partnership with her father, she practiced general dentistry in her hometown of Battle Creek for many years. Following her fathers retirement in 2005, Dr. Dickerson assumed sole ownership of the practice for an additional decade. In 2015, Dr. Dickerson relocated to Colorado, nurturing her love of the Rocky Mountains and allowing her to more fully integrate her values of Biological Dentistry. Since living in Denver, she associated in two separate biological dental practices and ultimately decided to cultivate her own private practice.
Dr. Dickerson has an extensive background in occlusal restorative dentistry, including Pankey, Dawson, and Orthognathic Bioesthetics (OBI). She remains active in OBI, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the organization. She has been a member of the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) since 2003 and is committed to mercury-safe practices. She also implements her training in the use of oxygen/ozone treatments as it pertains to optimum dental procedure outcomes.

Beginning with his biochemistry degree at the University of Nebraska, Fulbright Scholarship in Germany, and 10 years of professional ballet dancing both international and on Broadway, Dr. Popp has strived for continual evolution and excellence. In 2013, he made the conscious decision to follow in his fathers footsteps and pursue his inherent interest in dentistry. Upon graduating at the top of his class from Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health, he then completed a year of residency at the University of Colorado Denver.
In 2014, Dr. Popp was introduced to biological dentistry and recognized its critical importance in the overall health of his patients. Since that time, he has made it his singular focus to master the innovative art and science of biological dentistry. Much of his continued education has been garnered through Swiss BioHealth, with hands-on training preformed in Switzerland and Costa Rica under the guidance of Dr. Ulrich Volz. This modality focuses on the surgical management of infected root canal teeth, ischemic bone cavities/cavitations, and zirconia/ceramic implant placement when indicated.Furthermore, Dr. Popp has undergone Level 3 training with Orognathic Bioesthetics, International (OBI) to restore bite balance in harmony with the TMJ (jaw joints). The culmination of Dr. Popps advanced technical skills offers patients access to elite dental care that is mindful of both biological and bioesthetic elements.

Update - 14 Oct 22 After posting my review Dr. Dickerson's office reached out to me. They wanted to discuss my experience and get to the bottom of what happened. They were extremely sympathetic and wanted to clear up the confusion and make things right. There was a communications breakdown between what I was told and what their intent was. They no longer have an in-house hygienist and are referring people to other businesses for cleanings. As a result of their efforts to sort things out, I've updated my rating from two stars to five stars and have decided to remain a patient. Original review: I came in as a new patient and was initially impressed. Did all the standard intake stuff (X-rays, exam, etc) and then had a cleaning. They were so busy that that follow up appointments had to be made far in advance. I ended up having to cancel the appointment and when I tried to reschedule it, it took me months just to get someone to call me back. When they did call me back I was told that the practice was moving towards focusing on restorative dentistry and that I would have to find a new dentist. This is fine but extremely frustrating when you account for how expensive their initial consultation is. Basically, I paid for a consultation and a cleaning and then was told to go somewhere else. They did offer to refer me to another local dentist but then they never followed up with the information.

Biodentistry can seem costly especially since insurance doesn't typically cover it. But the conventional dentistry I received in the past cost me my health!! I had extensive work done by Dr Dickerson and Dr Popp. They are both very knowledgeable, highly skilled professionals who do dentistry right! This process was the key to turning around 4 chronic health conditions including debilitating migraines. Thank you for helping me get my life back! I am forever grateful to you and your wonderful supporting staff!

My experience with Dr. Popp and the Dynamic Dental Solutions team has truly been the most compassionate, expert healthcare I've ever received. (And that's saying a lot from someone who has managed chronic illness in the past!) As a patient of Dr. Popp's, I have felt heard, validated and educated through every step of my treatment. Even during a slightly bumpy road of healing after two extractions and dental implants, Dr. Popp and team have been so communicative and responsive, making sure I'm okay. I have 100% confidence that I'm in the right hands and that I am now set up for a future with great oral health and overall vitality! (Plus their office is so lovely and calming... even the surgery room has an amazing view!)

I have gotten some restorative work done with Dr Dickerson and she truly is the best along with her staff! She has the kind of demeanor that puts you at ease to know you are in the best of hands and after each appointment I have had with her I leave with such relief that my oral health is on its way to being as good as possible. Can't say enough great things about Dynamic Dental Solutions!

Dr. Dickerson proposed an extravagant range of procedures ultimately resulting in my teeth being ground to nubs and redesigned with epoxy over bruxism (grinding my teeth). Not before, years of straightening and regular visits. All prepaid deposits. Total timeline: 8 yrs. Essentially, a repeat business scam at my expense. The ideology being that my teeth/ jaw will realign and relax the muscles in my jaw. The manner of delivery and the level of pontification was a red flag... That they know exactly the cause, with absolution!!! This is absurd. I studied throat muscles and decided to explore alternative ways to relax throat muscles. 2 years later: regular throat exercises with vocal training and my jaw no longer grinds. My wife, unfortunately remained a patient and followed through with the exact same gring/ epoxy technique for a completely different matter, to find herself constantly being drilled, in pain and in a neverending future of mouth hell. I do not believe these people to be honest or reputable.

The best dentist visit I've ever had! Thank you Dr. Popp! I felt like more than just another client in their office. They treated me like a friend! So welcoming and did a very thorough scope of work to get my teeth back on track! The best part is they're holistic in making sure I get the best non-toxic treatment out there! I have been a patient of Dr. Dickerson's for several years. Her attention to detail and ability to do quality work are the main reasons she is my favorite dentist. I have had to have some major cavities in between teeth repaired, and Dr. Dickerson has done a great job getting my mouth back into good shape. She also listens to my concerns and communicates with care and empathy. The office space is beautiful and relaxing and the hygienists, assistants, and front office are all competent and kind as well. I highly recommend this practice.

I highly recommend Dr. Dickerson (Dynamic Dental Solutions) and her awesome team. Dr. Dickerson is knowledgeable, highly skilled, and compassionate. She and her team communicate procedures and care plans with clarity and executes the plans in a timely manner. As a biological/holistic dentist, Dr. Dickerson cares about your overall health and uses the most biologically compatible materials to work on your smile . I am over the moon happy and grateful I get to be her patient. Not only is Dr. Dickerson on the forefront of biological dentistry, she's gifted with an artist's eyes, an artisan's hands and a healer's heart. I also highly recommend Dr. Popp, oral surgeon, who is knowledgeable about energy meridians, biologically compatible dental implants and so much more. The level of care I received from him is out of this world. I had very little pain and discomfort after my dental implant surgery. By the end of the first day of surgery, I was almost painfree. That's saying a lot. Dr. Popp and his team took care of my comfort and well-being with diligence and attentiveness. They are a great team to have in anyone's health care team. They truly demonstrate skillful, compassionate patient-centered care. I feel lucky to be cared for by such a wonderful team of skilled practitioners.

This dental office is truly unique. The cost is fair, and I don't feel like they are trying to get rich off of their patients. The staff is super friendly and even communicate via text if convenient for you. While you are there, you feel like you're the only patient they have because the visit is all about you and getting any health concerns or needs taken care of. I've had the most remarkable experiences with Dr. Popp. He is personable, trustworthy, and extremely knowledgeable on all the latest holistic treatment methods. Dr. Popp performed an all-day procedure to replace the all of the metals from my mouth with zirconia. After that extensive surgery, surprisingly, I felt great with minimal swelling. He checked on me a couple of times afterward over the weekend and my healing process was quick. I am so thankful that Dr. Popp practices in Colorado, although I would be willing to travel far for this level of high-quality dental care. Dr. Popp is by far the best of the best.

Doctor Sharon Dickerson is a truly kind, compassionate and gifted dentist and person. The work she is pioneering in biodentistry is brilliant and life changing. I have struggled with debilitating neck and jaw pain , nervous system issues, anxiety issues, ear- nose - throat issues, unresolved trauma, hormone issues and sensory processing disorder issues my entire life. All of these things have improved dramatically since I went through this process with Dr. Sharon. I trust her and I know she can help others suffering with these same things because she is brilliant and thorough and genuinely cares about her patients as people. Thank you Dr. Sharon and your entire staff for all you do- it is truly life changing.

Dr. Dickerson is honestly the best dentist that I have ever been too. Professionally and also from a personal aspect, she is incredibly kind, gentle, understanding and thorough in her treatment plans and care. I suffered from severe TMJD due to injuries resulting from a car accident. After seeing several regular dentists and going through the standard TMJ procedures, (mouthguards, Botox injections, etc...), and having the condition continue to get worse, I was told that my next step would be to get a nerve block for pain and symptoms that wouldn't subside. Wanting to avoid that at all costs, I started to research holistic dentists and found Dr. Dickerson. I called her office and explained the severity of the symptoms, (dizziness, passing out, excruciating and debilitating headaches and nerve pain in my neck, head and whole body) and asked if she would be able to offer anything different than what I had done already. Dr. Dickerson called me back herself and spoke with me for over 40 minutes, genuinely understanding each and every symptom as she had been through the exact thing herself. She was the first dr to understand and acknowledge the amount of pain that I was facing and know how to deal with it in a way that fixed the problem and didn't just put a bandaid on the symptoms. I underwent a treatment protocol that she had undergone herself and that was completely different than anything I had ever heard of or done but it was successful and I have finally resumed so much of my life that I had lost. I am driving again, can bend over and pick up my kids and walk up and down stairs again. I don't go to the ER due to the pain anymore and don't rely on pain meds to get through the day anymore because of my TMJ headaches. I have my life back in ways that I never thought I could. Her staff is just as kind and gentle and considerate as she is. It's worth every bit of time and money that I have spent there. I can honestly say that she is one of the first drs that genuinely saw me as a person that she cared about and wanted to help and not just as a patient. She and her staff are such a blessing to my life and I am incredibly grateful for them. They feel more like good family friends, that just so happen to be able to provide exceptional care :)

I wish I would have found Dr. Dickerson years ago! I met Dr. Dickerson in 2017 after doing a search for OBI specialists in the Denver area. Dr. Dickerson took the time to address my jaw and teeth concerns in a straightforward manner. She has a holistic approach that I value greatly, and she is dedicated to delivering high quality dental care at very fair rates. I am grateful to have found a good fit. The staff at Dynamic Dental Solutions is great- they are personable and very responsive. I look forward to my visits!

Dr. Dickerson and her staff have far exceeded my expectations for a dentist office. As someone who suffers from anxiety related to dental care, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt conformable during my consultation and comprehensive exam. After my first visit, I felt confident about my dental health and the plan they put together for me. We discussed treatment options and the cost associated with it. As a cash-pay office, I appreciate the transparency and relatively affordable options available. Lastly, I need to mention the office environment. If you are sensitive to the smells, noises, and assembly line style of traditional dental offices -- Dr. Dickerson and her staff have completely transformed the office experience. From bright lighting, beautiful mountain views, to the retro themed kitchen waiting area, every detail reflects the care and purpose of her practice. Would I recommend Dr. Dickerson? Yes, 110%!

Dr. Sharon and her team are top notch. The office is very welcoming, balanced and grounded. The services I received were second to none; cutting edge imaging, in-depth case planning and excellent execution of my treatment plan. I had my bite redone and an old root canal extracted that was causing health problems. I highly recommend Dr. Sharon and Dr. Popp for holistic dentistry.

I was interested in a complete evaluation of my oral health and I couldn't have been happier with the care I received with Dr. Dickerson. My reason for seeking her out had to do with a recently diagnosed of breast cancer. I wanted to knock out the possibility that inflammation in my mouth could have encouraged the cancer. I felt she really listened to my concerns and after her care, I left knowing that I no longer needed to worry about my oral health. I would gladly recommend her and her office staff to anyone, especially if they were interested in the best care available.
