Nina is from Pittsburgh Pa.She attended CTA (career training academy) for DA program.What I love about dentistry mostly is the patients! I love meeting them, hearing their stories, and helping them achieve what they want with their smile! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 6 year old son, eating out, spending time with friends, catching up on my shows! I also love to travel! Preferably anywhere with a beach!
Amy is from Wexford, PA. She graduated from Richland High School 1985. Amy attended AW Beattie Technical School and graduated 1985 as a Dental Assistant. She currently lives in Ross Township with her husband Mike. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren and number 3 on the way. Amy loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys bike riding and walking.
Amanda is another of the excellent hygienists we are fortunate to have in our office. Amanda grew up east of Monroeville, but has been in North Hills area since 2008. Amanda knew that she wanted to be a hygienist from a young age. As a child, she enjoyed getting her own teeth cleaned and wanted to help others in this way. Amanda pursed her dream and attended the Westmoreland County Community College to become a registered dental hygienist. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys being outdoors. She likes boating, wakeboarding, fishing, hunting, riding quads, swimming, and skiing.
Patty is the first friendly face you see when you enter our office. She loves helping people and developing relationships with all who enter our doors. Patty works hard to keep our office running smoothly. Patty ensures our patients are getting the care they deserve by serving as a liaison to many of the insurance companies. Patty brings a sense of calmness and happiness to the office, which is very welcoming. Patty was born and raised in Ambridge, PA. She currently resides in Beaver. In her own words, 'I really do love patient care, our patients are great people. The relationship with them is wonderful. I love watching the joy they feel after they have a great experience in our office.' In her spare time, Patty enjoys spending time with family and watching her grandchildren in the extra curricular activities.
Dr. Passineau was born and raised in a small town north of Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with honors from Birmingham Southern College and married her husband Michael before entering dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Shannon and Michael relocated to Pittsburgh in 2008, when Michael accepted a role as Director of Gene Therapy at the West Penn Allegheny Health Network (now AHN). Dr. Passineau has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry for seven years, two years in Beaver PA and the past 5 in Cranberry with a group practice. After meeting Dr. Kohler through a mutual friend, she fell in love with the history, culture and diversity of the Bellevue community, and considers it a great honor to care for that practice's existing patients, while welcoming new ones. A perfectionist and an aesthetic at heart, Dr. Passineau derives her professional satisfaction from empowering people to be proud of their smiles.
Dr. Passineau's favorite hobby is spending time with her husband and three daughters. The Passineau family has put more than 25,000 miles on their RV, covering most of the ground west of the Allegheny Mountains. Dr. Passineau also enjoys photography, particularly before/after portraits of her patients undergoing upgrades on their smiles. When she isn't enjoying family time in the backwoods of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, she is baking, playing the piano, and serving at Christ Church at Grove Farm.

I am so lucky to have Dr. Passineau as my dentist. She has provided excellent dental care for my children and myself. She and her staff are very knowledgeable and make you feel very comfortable. Last summer my teeth were a mess, but through her hard work they are in much better shape. If you are looking for top notch dentist, Dr. Passineau is the answer

Gentle, kind, helpful. I had an excellent experience, and I usually hate going to the dentist. Everyone I encountered from reception to the dentist was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!

I have somewhat of a phobia about dental work (actually, a big phobia). Dr, Passineau and her staff went out of their way to calm my fears, and most importantly, ensured I had the proper amount of numbing for my recent root canal. I have been to dentists all over the country and no one has made my dental work more pain free!

Dr. Passineau and her wonderful & friendly staff have been amazing. After bad experiences in the past, going to the dentist has been very difficult for years. Dr. Passineau has listened to my concerns and ensured that I feel safe and comfortable for every appointment. There has been a few because of my extended time without dental work. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Passineau is my favorite all time dentist. She is professional, caring and frankly hilarious. She makes an otherwise unpleasant endeavor something to look forward to. If she were to close up shop and move back to the South, I would get on a plane every six months to have appointments with her. Make an appointment. You won't be disappointed.

We have moved seven times in the last 15 years, attending eight different dental offices, and seeing at least 12 dentists within those offices. Over that time I've been exposed to good dentists, not-so-good dentists, and very poor dentists who have made important judgements on both my own and my son's dental care. Dr. Passineau is by far, the most highly skilled and caring dental professional I have ever worked with. I was first recommended to see her by another orthodontic professional I trust when I was considering options for cosmetic dentistry on a front tooth that had once had a root canal and had become discolored. Other dentists had suggested major revisions (take out both front teeth and crown them to match, crown or cap the one tooth, do braces first before making alterations then crown them, etc.). When I saw her she suggested I do the most minimalist option first ("You can always do more later if needed", she said) which was also the most cost effective for me. She ended up doing a filling on my front tooth (not one out of six dentists that I had previously discussed my problem with had suggested that), and she spent careful time on making sure my tooth looked natural and beautiful. She has since fixed gaps or dental problems I've had from seeing other dentists; she has really gone above and beyond to ensure I have had a great dental experience. As an additional fun fact- she has a minor in Art. She is a dentist who not only cares about her client's dental health and experience, but also takes the time to care about the aesthetic appearance of their teeth and smile. Many dentists claim they are cosmetic dentists, but she actually provides cosmetic quality work. We will only go to one dentist from now on. Thank you, Dr. Passineau.
