Horrible doctor. Doesn't explain much just wants to charge you money. He was upset when I didn't want to pay for the more expensive anesthesia and opted for local injection. He says "so do you want to do it or not?" With and attitude. Procedure was painful to extract my tooth as he didn't use enough of the local injection. Avoid him. There are much better oral surgeons elsewhere.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! This guy is absolutely horrible. Wasted my time today and had me leave with the same pain and same problem that I walked in with. His technician/dental assistant was also so rude and unaccommodating. Save yourself the time and do not go to this place at all.

I had a complicated tooth extraction and I was so scared but Dr. Soleymani is amazing! I didn't feel anything amd the process was very quick too. Dr. Soleymani and his stuff was there for me to address any concerns even days after the surgery. So happy I found him.

I recommend avoiding this doctor. After about 2 hours of wait, I was put in a room where I waited again for about 15 mins. He finally comes and asks what the problem is and as I am explaining, he just leaves the room without even saying a word (no excuse me, nothing) for another 20 mins or so. Charged a lot for an X-ray when I already had x-ray from the dentist who referred me to him just a couple weeks before. This X-ray also yielded nothing except costing me a lot.

For a long time, I had a broken wisdom too (upper-left side) that would result in excruciating pain. Went to so many dentists, only to be turned down and told that I needed an "oral surgeon." Dr. Shahab Soleymani was recommended to me by my long-time friend, James Galitsis as "the perfect dentist." He said that I would feel no pain with Dr. Soleymani. I didn't think it was possible, but I literally felt no pain and the procedure lasted shorter than I could ever imagine it would. Mind you, my tooth was broken and, it seemed to me that it would be difficult to get a grip on it and remove it. That wasn't the case at all. I would recommend Dr. Soleymani to anyone with extreme wisdom tooth pain. First dentist I ever tipped, as well. Mind you, the procedure wasn't cheap, so the fact that I coughed up an extra $140 should tell you something. Five stars, no hesitation.

In the odd case you are looking for a oral/maxillofacial surgeon about tumors I do not recommend. I was referred to this surgeon by my dentist and after the X-ray Dr. Soleymani told me he can't help me and said to go to the hospital not even suggesting any. After requesting a hospital to go to, he suggested one that didn't even take my insurance so it wasn't that helpful. I had a similar tumor removed prior by an oral/maxillofacial surgeon and I ended up going to the hospital just to see another oral surgeon. Very little support or guidance from him and it left me in a stressful and confusing situation.

Dr. Shuhub Soleymani refused to give any service to my 81 y o mother who I brought into his office on wheelchair. He can't be trusted and only looking to profit as much as he can from insurance companies. Prior to appointment I called to the office and told to one of the medical personal that my mom referred by a dentist to him and has referral from cardiologist and PCP. I make sure they received all the documents and current blood work was given to them on the day of appointment. His assistant assured me that everything is ok and I can come to see him. I drove my mother for one hour and then was sitting in the office for 2 hrs. My mother was complaining that she tired. There were so many people in the office and I was concerned about her safety knowing the fact that covid is increasingly growing in NY. When finally we got in one of the rooms, he told me he needs to take an X-ray, Itold him I have on on me from the dentist who referred me to him. He was not happy and told me that she has so much comorbidities that she needs to go to the hospital to pull her tooth. I was so disappointed and broken emotionally. I told him if he has old parents he should understand and get himself into my shoes. He said clearly he will not take her. My heart was broken. He is so unsesetive and unprofessional. He didn't even read my mother's record prior a day of her appointment. It's like a factory for him. He concerned only about money not people. Please take your time, search for good oral surgeon dentist before you schedule an appointment.

This man took full advantage of my husband while he was in pain. Charged him $650 cash+ charged his insurance another $1800 to extract a tooth. We also got a bill in the mail for $240 AGAIN to extract ONE tooth. A crook who trained his staff to operate the same. Stay away!!!! I hope any and all the money he makes off vulnerable people goes towards his OWN medical expenses and bills one day!!

Got my wisdom teeth out, a bone graft done and implants and no pain whatsoever. He's the first person to actually help me with all my issues with my teeth after going from dentist to dentist for years. He's the best!

1 star is too generous for a crook like Dr. Soleymani. From the get go, he never provided me with any paperwork detailing how much the insurance would cover and what I owed him. He just said the prices and I was led to believe what he was saying as the truth. After receiving a bill from the insurance, I found out he cheated me and the insurance. When confronting him with this information, he said it must've been a mistake on his end and he would give me credit for the next bill. On my last visit, he told me I still had an outstanding balance that needed to be paid off. Honestly, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had from a doctor and I am amazed that someone like him is still in business. He has proven that he cannot be trusted and is only looking to profit as much as he can from insurance companies and patients. If anyone is looking to get oral surgery done, do not go to this cheat and find someone better.

I recently visited Dr. Soleymani for extraction of three wisdom teeth and the process was extremely smooth and comfortable. He and his entire staff were professional and efficient, and most importantly the surgery itself was done flawlessly. I recovered and healed quickly and even received a personal call from him a couple of days after the procedure checking in. On the day of the surgery I had to travel into Manhattan first to get a preliminary scan, and even though it was getting late, Dr. Soleymani still took me in same day since I wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. His office ensured that all of the paperwork and scans were moved quickly and everything was in its place. I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery such as tooth extraction.

Consistent outstanding performances by oral surgeon, Dr. Shahab Soleymani! He is the best of the best! Strongly recommending him! Excellent oral surgeries performed! Perfect patient follow up! Brilliant opinions from a brilliant gentleman with decades of experience! Impressive bedside manners! Given the covid 19 pandemic, he is a HERO! No need to take pain medication at all! Great job, Dr. Soleymani! Despite my insurance not in your list, I'd love to see you again, and again! (Surgical extraction with stitches dated May 10, 2021 and more.)
