I earned my Doctor Of Dental Surgery Degree from NYU College of Dentistry in May 2006. After that, I completed my General Practice Residency program through Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. My education provides valuable experience in all aspects of general dentistry, and I have understanding of the mouth-body connection. I worked as an associate for five years in Rockland County before establishing my own practice in my hometown of Stony Point in 2012. I do love my work. I believe in building relationships with patients, along with improving smiles and overall health. I take time to understand the dental needs of my patients and provide the best standard of dental care. I also firmly believe in promoting preventive care. My goal is to see minimal cavities or cavity-free patients with healthy mouths.
I am an active member of my local dental society, in addition to the American Dental Association and NY State Dental Association. I frequently take Continuing Education courses to stay abreast of the latest technologies and discoveries in dentistry.
I live with my husband and six-year-old son in Stony Point. On the weekends, I love to spend time with my son engaging him in fun activities and enhancing everything he learns at school. I also enjoy road trips and reading my dental journals.
At the core of our dental practice is a friendly team of professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal oral health. As part of our commitment to providing close, personalized attention to every patient, we want to encourage patient communication. Please know that we are here to provide outstanding patient care, and that we value the trust you have placed in us.
Hello, my name is Dana. I began working as a dental assistant for Dr. Pertofsky at the age of 16 without knowing what my future would bring. I continued working for Dr. Narang and grew much more interest in thefield. After getting my associates degree at RCC I counitedon to the Dental Hygiene program at BCC. I received my dental hygiene license in 2016 with continuing education courses under my belt.
The thing I love most about working in the dental field is bringing smiles to patients faces and reducing the fear of coming to the dental office. I strive to make everyone's dental experience comfortable, educational and prevent the possibilities of oral and system problems.
Outside of the dental office I consider myself artistic and love to paint and draw. Working in this office never feels like a day of work surrounded by friends and family doing what we love to do. Never fear your dental team.
I have been in the dental field for over 20 years! Finding my heart was in dentistry, I followed the career path into Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2003 from Orange County Community College. I enjoy treating patients and also creating personalized plans to get each patient to the healthiest state possible. I always strive to do my best with each patient and realize that compassion and education is a must! When I am not at work, I enjoy as much family time as possible with my husband and 2 kids.
Hello! My name is Michelle and I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2011. I have been working with Dr. Narang since 2017 and I am so thankful to be apart of such an amazing team. I have been living in North Rockland for 15 years and I am blessed to be working in the community where I live. I am passionate about building relationships with my patients and helping them improve their dental and overall health. I want my patients to feel at ease, comfortable, and informed about all dental procedures. I strive to be a calming influence to patients that may experience anxiety in the dental setting and my goal is always building confidence and trust.
I have 3 children that are also apart of our wonderful community and attend our local schools and sports programs. You may find me at the Stony Point little league fields or at the high school cheering on my oldest son. On my off time I enjoy traveling, crafting, cooking, outdoor activities and spending time with my family. North Rockland is my home and I believe all of our patients should be treated as family. Go Raiders!!
I am Nicole Abreu a current dental assistant with Dr. Narang and student at Westchester Community College, graduating with my 2-year Social Science Degree this year. I will be transferring to Bergen or Orange Community College to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene following the footsteps of both my mentors Michelle and Carrie and all of the lovely assistants and Doctor at our office . I fell in love with this career & office within 1 month and I am more than positive we can make that happen to you as our patient within one visit!
Providing friendly, compassionate dental hygiene care is my top priority when treating patients. I strive to listen to my patients concerns and address their needs so they have a positive dental experience. In an effort to increase my patients comfort and help to decrease their dental anxiety, I became certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia. I am an avid believer in continuing education to keep current with the ever improving dental technologies. Dental hygiene was never just a career for me, but a passion. I was honored to share that passion with my students, as an adjunct Clinical Instructor at Orange County Community College (now SUNY Orange). Throughout my career I have always sought to improve my skills by working in practices that specialize in Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, as well as General and Cosmetic dental offices. I find it very rewarding to help enhance my patients understanding of the dental hygiene care they need to help them prevent oral and systemic diseases. My greatest joy has always been working together, with the other team members, to help our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile!
I earned my Associate of Applied Science Degree, in Dental Hygiene, from Orange County Community College and later, continued my education at Fairleigh Dickinson University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree.
I attained Dental Assistant certification under the Dental Assisting National Board in 2019. After attaining my certification I started working for Dr. Narang . I am proud to be a part of such an amazing team. We all work extremely well together to provide the best service for our patients. Our staff is very warm and inviting. I really appreciate the best care provided by Dr. Narang and the team members. After working with this great team, I got encouraged to further pursue my career as a Dental Hygienist. Future plan is to enroll into the program and provide the best care to my future patients.
