Dr. Mattison is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. She has enjoyed living in the Charleston area since 2016. Establishing long-term relationships with her patients and working with a great team are two of the things Dr. Mattison enjoys most about her job. When not at work, she loves spending time with her son Charlie, beach combing, boating, going to area historical sites and festivals, and enjoying all that South Carolina has to offer.
As a dentist, Dr. Mattison makes providing patient-specific, thorough, high-quality dental care a priority. She also values involvement in her community;she values volunteering her skills as a dentist as well as acting as a leader to her colleagues and profession.
Dr. Mattison is a membership chair of the Coastal District of the South Carolina Dental Association and member of the American Dental Association. Previously Dr. Mattison was a Trustee for the Larimer County Dental Association, Delegate for the Colorado Dental Association, and a Delegate for the American Dental Association.
Dr. Mattison enjoys volunteering locally and abroad. She has provided free dental care in several Colorado elementary schools as well as the Dominican Republic and Belize. Dr. Mattison looks forward to caring for the children of Edisto as well.
Dr. Mattisons philosophy is that the best dental health is achieved when the dentist and patient work as a team to establish and maintain the best dental health for each individual patient. She looks forward to working together with you to achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
Eliza was born and raised in Charleton SC between Hollywood and Edisto. Her family has Brick House Plantation on the island where she spends her summers. Eliza and her husband Justin had twin baby girls in October and look forward to them growing uo enjoying all the fun of Brick House.
Eliza graduated from Ashville Buncombe Technical College in 2004 with her diploma of dental assisting. After working as an assistant for many years she returned to school and graduated with her Dental Hygiene Degree from Trident Technical College in 2015. Eliza is excited to be part of Edisto Family and serve the community.
Dale is a true Carolina girl! Born and raised in Lexington SC. She graduated from Lexington High School and worked for a Dentist in West Columbia where she studied and received her X-Ray certification.
Dale currently lives on Yonges Island SC with her husband Rob. They have 3 grown boys, Christopher, Chase and Reid Maxwell. Her hobbies include Interior Decorating and walking on the beach. Dale has been with Edisto Family Dental since August 2019.
Merry was born and raised in Indiana. In 2006 she and her family visited Edisto Beach and fell in love. When her husband Hank retired in 2010 they made Edisto their home. Merry and Hank have 3 children Travis, Trevor and Katie who are spread throughout the States.
Merry enjoys traveling and visiting her grandchildren but when she cant do that Facetime will do. She also enjoys chilling on the beach with her 2 dogs Bentley and Bay. Merry joined Edisto Family Dental in October 2019 and looks forward to working with the community.
Jackie was born and raised in New York where she lived until 1996. In 2014 her husband Ken came to work with the Edisto Police Department. In April 2019 they made the move from Walterboro to Edisto Beach. Jackie and Ken have two fur babies, Stui (a celebrity in his own right and the official Ambassador for the Washington Metro DachtoberFest), and Baily who is following in his brothers footsteps into stardom after a modeling debut at the DachtoberFest 2019.
Jackie is also a published author and a diehard hockey fan. Her and Ken enjoy attending the South Carolina Stingrays hockey games in Charleston, as well as traveling to Italy to visit friends and family. Jackie joined Edisto Family Dental in June of 2019 after spending 23 years in the eye care profession, she looks forward to working with the Edisto community.

I highly recommend Edisto Family Dental. They were able to see my wife on an emergency when we were visiting the area. Very professional and helpful.

Dr.Madison has developed a very strong and excellent team at her dental office. The excellence begins with Kathy up front (temperature and blood pressure check) then on to the dental technicians and Dr. Madison. This team is professional, friendly, and competent. They treat the patient like family, reassuring as the appointment goes on. I had a truly excellent visit, while having a difficult personal dental condition, which was solved by Dr. Madison and her team. While in the dental chair Kathy spoke to my wife to reassure her that all was going well. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for a remarkable team of professions. -- Michael Beaudoin. (using my wife's phone for this feedback)

As a retired dental hygienist, I highly recommend Dr. Seanna Mattison of Edisto Family Dental, LLC. Edisto Island and surrounding areas are so fortunate to have such an exceptional dentist! I have been to the office several times having had crown work done, as well as an occlusal equilibration/ adjustment ( my bite is balanced after 7 years of open bite on left side). Dr. Mattison is extremely thorough and highly professional. She has outstanding, compassionate dental staff members and state-of-the-art equipment. You will be very pleased with your experience at this dental office!

4 visits to my last Dentist ended with a few painful nights and an unwanted but necessary root canal- even after he told me there was nothing wrong. I ended up visiting an out-of-town and out of network family dentist for a second opinion (5th office visit) and he told me I would need a root canal. He performed the first half of the root canal and then recommended I find someone closer to home to finish the crown procedure. On a chance I decided to try the local Dentist office here on Edisto Island after hearing the practice had a new Dentist. Enter Edisto Family Dental. Edisto Family Dental is a welcomed addition to our small slice of paradise. Dr. Mattison and Audrey are professional and courteous, and are always going the extra mile. After explaining my horrific situation they understood how I was skeptical of any further dental work. Although it took almost 3 hours they exercised great care and were always making sure their was no discomfort or pain. I have been pain free ever since and look forward to receiving my crown in the upcoming weeks. They even call to remind you of your appointments. I HIGHLY recommend them to locals and visitors alike. A++++++++

A seamless transition from our previous dentist. This team is professional, does a great job of explaining what is needed/being done, and very thorough. They spotted a problem and had it treated before I had any symptoms, thus preventing any pain or complications. And they're right here on the Island! Aren't we lucky?!
