Dr. Pace was born and raised in Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Provo in 1992 with a Bachelor degree in Zoology. After his freshman year, he took a two year hiatus to serve an LDS mission in Curtibia, Brazil. He loved his mission and learning Portuguese and has been grateful his two oldest children have followed in his footsteps. His oldest daughter served a mission in Ecuador, Spanish speaking, and his oldest son is currently serving in England, Slovak speaking!

It was while serving his mission that Dr. Pace decided to change gears from law to dentistry. Upon his return he switched his major and has been very grateful for his decision. He started dental school at the University of Utah the Monday following his honeymoon! Because Utah did not have a dental school at this point in time, they selected ten students each year to enter the RDEP program. After their first year with the University of Utah medical students, these ten students transferred to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska to finish out their D.D.S. degree. Dr. Pace graduated summa cum laude in 1996.

During dental school, Dr. Pace discovered he had an affinity for doing root canals and so decided to pursue becoming an Endodontist. He was one of three students accepted into the program at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Pace and his family loved their time in the Northwest but after two years, they were ready for more sunshine! Although not originally in the plan, Arizona became the home for the Paces! They have loved it! Since 1998, Dr. Pace has been practicing at Northwest Endodontics.

Dr. Pace and his wife of 24 years, Ellie, have six children; three girls and three boys. They are soon to become grandparents and are excited to watch the joy of parenthood extend to their own children. Dr. Paces free time is spent serving in church responsibilities and with his family. One of his greatest joys is to support his children in whatever activity they are involved with. He absolutely loves to watch them run or play basketball or play soccer or perform on the piano! It is a busy but full life and making time for family dinners nightly and a family night once a week helps to keep the family close together.

Went for a root canal with Dr. Pace- nice doctor but doesn't say much. His staff up front are nice but the assistants in the back really dont talk much either. No one explained to me what the root canal would involve and I never even signed a consent for the procedure which I thought was odd. Dr. Pace was very gentle numbing me and the root canal was super easy. Didn't have any pain once I got home either. Definitely will recommend this office.

I am a general dentist in the area. I refer all my patients to Dr. Pace for root canals. I've trusted Dr. Pace with my patients for many years! He has always done an exceptional job with my patients. Today I was the patient and I must say Dr. Pace did amazing on my difficult root canal. It was painless. Thank you Dr. Pace for getting me out of pain. I greatly appreciate you!

Oh my gosh after suffering from a tooth issue for 9 months someone recommended Dr Scott. Not only did he find the problem but he took care of the problem. Extremely gentle explaining everything every step during the process. Also I believe it was Courtney who also stayed with me before, during and after the procedure. Staff also excellent!

Was in terrible pain, and referred from my (amazing dentist) to Dr.Pace due to the conditions on my root of a tooth. From the moment I walked in the older lady behind the desk was EXTREMELY RUDE ! I was brought back for a 2 second exam and then kicked out and told he couldn't help me but they need $175! My husband was with me on a work call in his truck I came out to him in tears, tears from the tooth pain, and how I was treated with this whole process. He even went in a made the lady scan our insurance card which she so rudely said she wasn't going to do before . I have been to a number of physicians in and around the Phoenix area and this by far was the worst experience. So much so when I went back to my original dentist that referred me I told him exactly what happened and he was not pleased. He will said he will definitely be looking for a new endo guy! Just a honest opinion.

Everything from the front desk to the doctor was an amazing experience. All the ladies in the front were extremely friendly, helpful, and loving. I was in pain when I walked in and the most work I had to do was give me IDs! They took full and complete care of me. The root canal procedure was easy and not painful at all! I was extremely impressed with the doctor and his assistant. He was quick, knowledgeable, and very caring. All I can say is thank you so much and I highly recommend. I hope to never need another procedure but if I do I'll be heading back there with no hesitation.

This office got me in in a very timely manner due to a tooth abscess. It was my very first root canal. Everything was explained to me before being done and nothing was rushed or pushed on me. The assistant and dr were very kind and attentive (I was nervous). All of my post cares were explained to me and I was encouraged to ask anything or call if I had questions or issues. I recommend this dr. And office. Oh and my pain is gone!! Yes!!!!

We will never EVER go to this office again. Very bad customer service from the front office. They never communicated to us the cost of services for an initial visit. No work performed. Worthless Specialist in Peoria with child like front office staff. Stay away from Northwest Endodontics Ltd: Pace Scott DDS. Go to a real professional doctor.

If you are in need to an excellent Endodontics who is caring, skilled, and pleasant to work with, I recommend Dr. Scott Pace, DDS. Dr. Scott Pace kept me informed throughout my procedure which helped me calmed down. Everything he advised during and post procedure went according to his direction. His staff followed-up to see how I was doing post procedure. Dr. Scott Pace's office staff is also great to work with. They are all pleasant and understand patient needs. They are knowledgeable on paperwork and are caring folks.

Beware of this facility. They are very greedy and they don't care about patients. They informed me that they will accept my CIGNA insurance. But indeed they are out of network and they tried to maximize my out of pocket just for root canal. On the first day of appointment my first question was "Do you accept CIGNA" ? And the answer was "Yes". They are greedy for money and they tried to all my out of pocket amount in just one sitting.

Dr Pace has be great for me. As for the the person that gave a 1 star rating, sometimes people have such terrible oral hygiene, not even the best doctors in the world can help you. Lol.

Dr cracked my tooth while doing my root canal , I complained of the pain as soon as the numbness wore off. Told me to wait a year to see if it went away. Then he said the tooth next to it needed a root canal. Still complained of the pain. Gave me anti biotics in case it was an infection, no help. Complained of this pain for 3 yrs. Dr finally told me to live with the pain or have it pulled. Very unhappy with his service. Would not reccomend.

The crown fell off my #9 tooth, upper front. My dentist, just down Thunderbird Rd, started a root canal but that tooth area just would not get numb after 4 injections of numbing med. He called Dr Pace who told me to come " right now," so I did. Within 10 minutes I was in the chair getting an xray. Dr Pace introduced himself and determined a root canal was the best route to save the tooth. An hour later I was done, totally numb, and on my way home. Dr Pace and his staff were calm, warm, professional and very knowledgable. I am the world's worst dental patient - I get super nervous and shake visibly. He and his staff reassured me, explained what they were doing and were very gentle. Now, 24 hours later, the tooth area is still a bit sore and Tylenol helps with that pain. The only pain I felt through the whole procedure was from 2 numbing injections, and then big pain when the numbing meds wore off. Extra strength Tylenol handled that. I highly recommend Dr Pace and his supporting team. I will go back there for my next root canal AND I'm recommending him to my friends.

Very pleased with how well my root canal went today. I was very nervous with it being my first root canal procedure, but it went easier than I expected with little to no pain. I definitely recommend this office.
