Dr. Scott Brewster identifies as a military brat with no official hometown. He decided to become a dentist because he is good with his hands, and dentistry combines his passion for art and science. Dr. Brewster attended the University of South Florida for his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Brewster completed his AEGD residency at the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he used highly-advanced science and technology and learned every facet of dentistry.

Dr. Brewster initially began his career as a dental assistant, and after completing his DDS, worked in corporate dentistry for five years. While he learned a lot and was able to create content for classes and mentor other doctors, he has always had his own ideas about delivering top-notch care to patients. Having his own dental practice allows him to practice evidence-based dentistry that truly focuses on what is best for the patient. He enjoys being able to educate patients about the procedures they need and why they need them, which helps to extinguish fear and build trust.

Dr. Brewster loves enology (the study of wine and wine-making) and viticulture (growing and harvesting grapes for wine-making). After spending his childhood moving frequently, he has developed an affinity for spontaneous travel. Dr. Brewster is also a big movie buff and loves watching new movies in his free time.

Vishwadha Gunda is our Clinical Supervisor at New Columbia Dentistry, and she aspires to attend dental school in the near future. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a double minor in Chemistry and Business Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she chose to work in a clinical setting before pursuing dentistry as her career. Gaining hands-on experience while working and creating genuine relationships with patients are what she finds most valuable.

Vishs passion for dentistry can be paralleled to her love for dance. She has trained in various dance forms for over ten years. Growing up, she was able to instill confidence in herself and those around her through her participation in pageants. She champions self-growth, both personally and professionally. She is looking to adopt a dog soon, too!
