Dr. Sattars dental office is an innovative, high quality facility that provides a variety of dental treatments in Sterling, VA. We look forward to providing you with the best service possible, and helping you obtain your dream smile.
After receiving his high school degree, Dr. Sattar traveled to Germany to study the culture and the language. In 1982 he attended the Columbia University for his Bachelors Degree in Biology. In 1984, Dr. Sattar transferred to the New York University and completed his Bachelors Degree in 1986.
He has been actively practicing dentistry in his office located in Sterling, Virginia as well as volunteering at the local Community Clinic for low income families. Dr.Sattar also belongs to many organizations such as:
Dr.Sattar takes over two hundred fifty of continuing education courses annually in different fields of dentistry in order to stay up to date with new technology and advances in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Sattar is kind, however, I didn't have a good experience and the receptionist/assistant was very rude and defensive when asked to explain the reasoning for an additional charge. I went in regarding one tooth. An x-ray was conducted, but Dr. Sattar request a CT scan be done. I was not aware this would be charged to my insurance since it was done at his request. When I learned of the charge through insurance, I called Emme (receptionist/assistant to understand why. She was rude, kept saying she assumed it was for "xyz' reason and proceeded to go back and forth with me, making unnecessary remarks about my second opinion diagnosis. She said she would ask Dr. Sattar about the charge and would and call me back. Never got a call back - only a rude attitude. I can't imagine the treatment I would have gotten if I chose to get my work done here.

I take great pleasure in expressing my appreciation for the outstanding customer service from the Dental Office of John H. Sattar, DDS who provided me with exceptional service. Dr. Sattar, resolved my dental complication with deliberate haste with the application of a dental crown restoring my teeth back to their natural shape and appearance. He meticulously explained every procedure in detail. His professional talents, dedication and aggressive work habits is an asset to the Dental Community. He is especially adept in dealing with people and is highly knowledgeable in his specialty. Dr. Sattar is a true professional in every sense of the word.

Dr. Sattar is the absolute best! I have seen numerous dentists in the past, and is he is by far my favorite. His bedside manner and professionalism is like no other. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to finally find a dentist I'm comfortable with. I will be a patient for life. Thanks again!

Dr. Sattar, Amy and Olga are top notch and this comes from a picky, perfectionist in the dental industry! I chose them after analyzing many in the area in terms of what quality of products he buys and the advanced technology he has invested in (some the Specialists don't even have.) 80% of my appointment is with Dr. Sattar and 20% is with the hygienist which means a lot to me.

This office is one of the best dentist offices I've ever been to and certainly one of the best professional offices I've encountered. If you are looking for the best quality dental work (PAIN FREE) , exceptional customer service and relationship building with people who will make you feel at home while getting dental work done, this is THE place to be. I was greeted with the same smile and friendliness each and every time I came to the office and was seemingly offered any and everything to support my comfort while I was there. Yes, it's a dental office and not a hotel, but my "stay" felt like home. I love them so much, every time I have to go to the dentist, I travel from PA to VA (2.5 hr drive) just for the standard of service that was set by them the first time I went.

11/10! I always receive compliments about my teeth because of this place! It truly has a far better atmosphere and interface than any other dentist office I have ever visited. Dr. Sattar and staff are exceedingly outgoing and friendly to the point that all anxiety associated with "going to the dentist" disappear.

Great! Dr. Sattar and his team do a great job at making you feel very comfortable! Very friendly and Clean environment making it even better (for me at least) to get comfortable. Just got my teeth cleaned up and filled the front tooth. From Start to finish it was very pleasant. The Manager was very nice to talk to and prices are very reasonable. A+ on My record. I will go back there for more stuff :)

Also, he discovered a chipped tooth and he fixed it really well without pain. He used high quality filling materials for it to last very long. Overall, Dr. Sattar did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him for any dental work.

Dr. Sattar is very friendly and experienced. I have been coming here since I was a child and have no complaints. If I need to come in for emergency work they always find a time for me within a few days of calling. Would recommend!
