Dr. Sarah Belderes has been in practice since 2001. Conveniently located on Academy Drive, were here to provide gentle, comfortable dentistry to all ages in the communities of Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas.
Our goal is for our patients to find their dental home at Sarah Belderes DDS, allowing them to become a part of our practice family. We want to work with you to maintain your oral health, achieving the look and feel that you want for your teeth and mouth.
Sarah Belderes DDSs mission is to make sure each of our patients is comfortable, free from anxiety or nervousness that can accompany dental visits. At our practice, well take the time to get to know you one-on-one, listening carefully to understand how to meet your needs. Well never rush you, keep waiting times to a minimum and make sure you feel relaxed.
Our caring, comprehensive approach to improving your dental health is complemented by the use of state-of-the-art technology, such as our soft tissue laser and non-metal, all-porcelain crowns. A range of dental services, including pediatric dentistry, is available to meet the needs of your family. When necessary, were happy to refer you to our network of specialists.
When I was a kid, I always enjoyed my visits to the dentist and didnt fear them like so many other children might. I also had an uncle who was a pediatric dentist. Science and art were two of my favorite subjects, dentistry allowed me to combine them into one profession.
Dr. Belderes went to the University of Southern California, choosing the prestigious institution for its reputation as the best college for dentists to attend in California. While there, she was part of a group called Mobile Dental Clinic, which took an RV into underprivileged areas and provided dentistry services for patients there. She graduated in 2001.
Training in cognitive behavioral psychology has assisted Dr. Belderes in putting patients with dental anxiety at ease. She enjoys guiding people through gentle dental care, helping them to have a positive experience. To keep abreast of the latest trends in dentistry, she takes regular continuing education courses on subjects such as Invisalign, dental implants and aesthetic work.
Dr. Sarah Belderes is a native San Diegan! Her practice is across the street from Santa Fe Christian where she attended Junior High and High School. She enjoys being involved in the community of Solana Beach through the Chamber of Commerce and different service organizations.
She has two young children, Giselle and Vivian. She spends her spare time helping out in her childrens school and parent-teacher association. Also, she enjoys time with her family, including her mother who lives locally, and going to the beach.

I've been going to Dr. Sarah Belderes for a year now and find her care gentle, and accurate. She is up-to-date with he technology and inspires confidence in her diagnosis and treatment. It's a very caring office - all the staff are patient-oriented and capable. I'm very happy with this dentist and her staff.

Our whole family goes to Sarah and she's been amazing. The way she was able to talk our 7 yr old through getting a cavity filled to calming down our 4 yr old who was scared about her cleaning. I'm also doing Invisalign with her and I'm so happy with the results I've seen. Highly recommend her for any age.

I have been wanting to get my teeth whitened for a long time, and I am so happy I went to Dr. Sarah Belderes! She made my teeth so white & I got an at-home (professional - level) whitening kit to keep these pearly whites shining. Dr. Belderes is so sweet and sincere, and would make anyone happy to go to the dentist!

After seeing Dr. Belderes for the first time, I wasn't even out of the parking lot before I was recommending her to someone else! Undoubtedly competent, professional, and personable, Dr. Belderes took the time to get to know me and my dental history as a new patient. The hygienist was thorough yet gentle, and the office vibe is warm and friendly.

Well this was a great surprise! I haven't been to a dentist in probably 10 years and this was a perfect appointment! Great teeth cleaning, exam and consultation to get me back on track. Dr. Belderes has a great attitude and approach and is very affordable! Could not be more satisfied. Very accommodating.

Dr. Belderes and her staff are always super nice, timely, and caring. Above all, they deliver quality treatment, every time. I first went in needing an emergency visit, having fallen down and broken a tooth. My dentist then was unavailable, but I got a quick response from Dr. Belderes, and felt cared like family when I came in. If you ever need a referral, you can rest easy knowing they will point you in the right direction (I once needed an apicoectomy, had seen an endodontist, who basically wanted to remove my entire mouth; safe to say, when I followed the new referral by Dr. Belderes, I had the most pleasant experience one could possibly wish for, under the circumstances, and my tooth was saved). If you're reading this wondering "should I go here or..." just stop there, and go see Dr. Belderes. You won't regret it.
