Im proud of the education I received from these respected schools, including three years of postdoctoral training in periodontics. But a degree is just the beginning. Experience is essential, too. My practical experience encompasses what cant be learned from textbooks.

Ive made a point to upgrade my capabilities with everything from smoking cessation counseling to regenerative techniques to grow bone. To ensure that you always get the benefits that the latest advancements in dentistry can give, I substantially exceed the hours of continuing education required by the state of New Jersey.

Professional memberships are a key way that I exchange information about the newest developments in the field. The knowledge I am able to exchange within these groups helps me to continue to set and exceed the very highest standards of care in the fields of periodontology and implantology.

Most awful doctor/dental experience I've had in a long time. I had a 12pm cleaning appointment that turned into a 2+ hour ordeal. I did not get X-rays until 12:45 and was left in the room waiting for quite a while after that. A half hour later I finally asked how much longer it would be until the dentist can see me, being that it's been an hour and 15 minutes since my appointment time. They tell me that due to a power outage and their computer going down, it will be another 15-20 minutes (This is beside the fact that I shouldn't have to ask for an update - it should have been provided to me). I'm not sure what a computer outage has to do with the fact that I arrived to the dentist at 12 and there was literally only one other patient there at the time. At this point they move me into a different room, but somehow manage to squeeze in another consultation for a patient who obviously arrived after me, so I'm starting to really become frustrated. I express my frustration to the dental assistant who delivered the news about the "15-20 minute wait", and who just kept saying "tell it to the dentist" and offered 0 remorse. Her solution was to tell me I can just reschedule. Why would I reschedule an appointment that I've already wasted almost two hours at? Infuriating. 15-20 minutes turned to 40 minutes, and I finally see the dentist at 1:50 who then tells me "it's just one of those days" as if that is supposed to be comforting? This is the middle of work day, and they very clearly demonstrated that they do not value my time. As a first time patient who unfortunately got stuck there for 2+ hours (for a cleaning!), I was appalled by their lack of customer service or empathy to the situation and will not be returning

Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to write a review, but my last experience was absolutely terrible. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a bill from two years ago that was never made aware to me or my insurance co.. I was assured that I would receive a detailed receipt for what needed to be reimbursed, but after paying I was handed a regular receipt for a credit card payment. On top of this I was left waiting over an hour after my appointment time so that the Doctors Uncle (who arrived thirty minutes after me) could be seen first. After my cleaning we discussed doing some cosmetic work where a very negative conversation ensued. I was told that the solution discussed with the previous doctor would not work and that I would need all new veneers in to fix the teeth. Obviously this sounds ridiculous so when I questioned the solution the response was "I don't know why she would tell you that". The doctor was clearly insulted by the conversation and when it was time to pay my bill and leave she further tried persuade me to spend an astronomical amount for veneers for teeth that are perfectly ok. When I made it clear I was not interested she began to speak negatively about the previous doctor again. Needless to say the conversation did not end well. A few days later I received an email asking about my experience, I answered truthfully and did NOT write out a review. I would say about a week or so after I received an additional bill in the mail! I paid in full before I left and clarified that I was paid in full because I knew that I would not be a returning patient. Clearly the doctor is upset that I was honest about my experience when asked to review my appointment by the third party scheduling company. The story does not end here, in the following months I have been bombarded with robocalls from Dental companies trying to add me to their services. When asking how they were able to get my information it was explained that my DENTIST does the referral! Please be mindful of these predatory Dentist that upsale you on unnecessary cosmetic work because of the revenue it brings them. I will be following up with a complaint to the better business bureau regarding my troubles with this horrendous Doctor. I hope the fantastic staff is not effected by this as they are the reason I have been a returning patient.
