Dr. Trufolo received his B.S. in Biology from Fairleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, NJ and his D.M.D from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in Newark. He is a native of Monmouth County and has been practicing in both Oakhurst and Brick for over 30 years. Dr. Trufolo has had specialized training in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry and holds memberships in several distinctive dental societies including the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. Dr. Trufolo continues his post-doctoral studies yearly in various areas of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and implant dentistry and is certified in placing veneers such as lumineers. When Dr. Trufolo is not practicing Dentistry he enjoys music, theater, and the arts which are shared by his wife Jo Ann Palaia Trufolo.

Dr. Alex Shor received his B.A. from Rutgers University and his D.M.D. from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Shor has been actively practicing all aspects of general, cosmetic and implant dentistry for over 10 years in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Dr. Shor is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and Monmouth and Ocean Dental Societies. Dr. Shor is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, holds a certification in the placement of invisible orthodontic aligners Invisalign, and a member of Advanced Dental Seminars, part of the prestigious Seattle Study Club. When not in the office Dr. Shor loves spending time with his wife Irene and two children Raquel and Evan. He also enjoys exercising, long distance running, tennis and skiing.

As a lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Dr. Cristina Kavendek is excited to continue her career in the area of New Jersey she proudly calls home. A graduate of the College of New Jersey, Dr. Kavendek achieved her Bachelors degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biopsychology and Pre-Health studies. She then went on to graduate as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. During her tenure at Rutgers, Dr. Kavendek was elected into membership of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, as well as the National Prosthodontic Honor Society.

Following dental school, Dr. Kavendek completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center, one of the select few level-one trauma hospitals in the New Jersey. Dr. Kavendek is highly proficient in all areas of general dentistry, including extensive training in full mouth rehabilitation and implant placement. Dr. Kavendek has expanded her practice to include utilizing Clear Correct aligners to straighten teeth and obtaining certification in the placement of Botox and dermal fillers to provide her patients with healthy and beautiful smiles inside and out.

In her free time Dr. Kavendek enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing piano, and attending live music events. Dr. Kavendek wants each patient to be excited for their dental visit, Just Have Fun during their time at the office, and leave with a brilliant, healthy smile.
