Dr. Sanjay Dhir is a California Board licensed general dentist. A large part of his early education was in India. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1985 at Panjab University, Dr. Dhir received his dental degree from Magadh University in 1991. In 1992, he completed his internship at BIDS & Hospital, Patna, India. In the United States, he completed his residency in Endodontics at NYU in New York in 1995, attended UCLA and Loma Linda Dental Schools for training prior to receiving his license to practice dentistry in California in 1999. Dr. Dhir continues to expand his training in implantology, esthetics and invisalign. He became a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantology in 2006.
I come from a family of healers and dentists; my great grandfather was a surgeon in the good old days. My grandfather, mother, and father were career dentists. I am a people person who believes in dignity and respect for all. I love what I do daily: dentistry is like a religion to me; it lets me make a difference in peoples lives, be creative, and provide the setting for social interactions with my community.
I like to enjoy my time at the office: I spend more than half my waking hours here. If I dont have fun, then life would be a total waste. So my team members and patients have become close friends. When I am in the office, I am at peace with myself- its a happy, kind of loud, but not so serious environment. I love interacting with my coworkers, and they are like family to me; we have the best laughs together.
My wife of 20+ years is a full-time scientist. We have two amazing kids and an adorable dog. The kids are growing up too fast, so we try to do many different things together. My passion, after dentistry, is photography. I love taking pictures of anything and everything. I enjoy hiking, travel, soccer, and cooking. I am also an excellent bartender.

I have been in the dental field since 1980. I worked as a dental assistant for many years and decided to go back to school to get my license to become a Hygienist. I graduated Southwestern College in 2004 with my Hygiene degree. I love working with patients of all ages and enjoy getting to know them on a personal level. Im passionate about dental education and have assisted in training and testing Hygiene students at Southwestern College.
My name is Bernadette, but most people call me Bernie. I am one of the hygienists here at the office. As a professional, my calling is to serve people & develop lasting relationships by promoting health & wellness through the provision of dental hygiene care.
I have been in the dental field since 2001. I graduated from Southwestern College in 2004 with a degree in Dental Hygiene with Honors. I found my home here at Dr. Dhirs office in 2011. When I am not in the office, I love to hang out with my husband, Chris, and our four boys. I enjoy cooking, entertaining family and friends, and going on mission trips locally and internationally.
My name is Sebastian and Ive been with Dr. Dhirs team for over ten years. What I enjoy most about working here is we are like family. We get along well and are always are having fun. I became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2004. I am CPR Certified and a member of the Association on Dental Implant Auxillaries. I love learning things about our patients and you can be sure that a joke or two will be shared if you are in my operatory! In my spare time, I love to spend time with my girls: my wife and daughter. I also enjoy golfing, gardening and playing the banjo!
My name is Vesta and I have been with this team since 2004. Born and raised in San Diego I love everything this city has to offer, especially the weather! When not in the office I prefer to be outside, either on the trails or beach, but most of the time I am shuffling my son, Zayne, to Soccer or Badminton games. I have been in the dental field since 1996 and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1997. I am CPR certified and a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. I find that in dentistry, its mostly about building relationships with the patients and continuous learning. With my experience and knowledge of dentistry I hope I can make patients feels comfortable while they are under our care!
Having been in the dental field for over 25 years, I have had many duties: from sterilization to management. I consider myself a team player and Im not above getting my hands dirty! Keeping my license as a Registered Dental Assistant means that from time to time, you can find me helping out in the operatories when Im needed. I have been with the practice since 1997; it is HOME to me. Going to trainings to improve ourselves, our knowledge and our work is a big part of why we work so well as a team and I am thankful for that! Our team is a family and our patients are an extension of that family.

I was in to see Dr Dhir to have two implants placed this week.Went smooth and easy. I have been going to Dr Dhir for about 10 years. He and his staff are the greatest. That is why, even though I now live in Prescott AZ, I still drive to San Diego for dental care. They are a great team, and I trust them.

I love going to Dr. DHIR Debistry! Everyone is so kind and caring who work there. I recently bought Invisalign and they are fixing my crossbite. I was told I had to break my jaw and wire it shut. Dr. Dhir, staff, and Invisalighn are fixing everything! I highly recommend!!

My husband and I took our time to find the right dentist after a move from the Bay Area and boy have we found the perfect one. Doctor Dhir is a unique balance of deep knowledge and experience coupled with a kind, caring disposition. He is so attentive to his patients and truly cares about the experience each one receives. His staff are equally caring and devoted ensuring that from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave, you feel wonderfully cared for.

Dr. Dhir has been my dentist for many years; he is a fantastic dentist and a caring individual. He and his staff are very professional and friendly. They always go that "extra mile" to make sure you are comfortable, as well as answer any questions you may have. It is a "welcoming office" and I can't praise them enough; I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Dhir has been my dentist for many years, and I couldn't be happier with my care. He is thorough, kind, and very patient. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they have worked with Dr. Dhir for many years, which says a lot. The remodeled office is beautiful and very clean, and the peaceful environment eases any "dentist anxiety".

Dr. Dhir took a lot of time to explain all the details of my treatment plan. I have never had a dentist go to so much details to educate a patient. The friendly staff and the dentist creates a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy my dental experience.

Honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. Made me feel heard and cared for as a patient. Focused on not only dental health but mental health as well which made me feel like I am in the good hands of kind people. Also the least painful!! I hate getting the numbing shots but this is the first dentist where I really didn't feel a thing. Numbs up with gel, small needle injection, then actually waits till your numb before going in with the big guns. If you are looking for a new dentist, this office is excellent. (they also keep the office peaceful with some jazz and Norah Jones )
