Dr. Berro received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of California, Los Angeles, and his Orthodontic Specialty degree from the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, Dr. Berro is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an accomplishment attained by less than 35% of orthodontists nationwide. Dr. Berro is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Orthodontists and the California Dental Association. He also regularly attends professional meetings and continuing education courses to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontics.
Dr. Berro was born and grew up in Long Beach. He has been providing outstanding orthodontic care for children, teens and adults in Long Beach, Los Alamitos and Chino Hills for 30 years. He has boy/girl twins who recently graduated college - his son from UCLA and his daughter from USC. In his free time he enjoys learning to play the piano and many sports including surfing, windsurfing, cycling and jogging.

We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs, including checks, cash, and VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. We also accept EBT cards. Most patients use automatic payment from their bank account.
Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in an individual's health and well-being. We believe financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health benefit. Our office is dedicated to your health and will make every effort to make orthodontics affordable. We are sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs, and offer a variety of payment options:
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.
We work with most insurance plans., and are happy to assist you in determining whether your insurance company will cover your orthodontic treatment and the amount of your benefits. If your company does provide benefits, we will be happy to take care of the insurance paper work and file your claim for you. To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire. Please provide our office with your insurance information either prior to or at your first visit. If you have any questions regarding insurance, please contact our financial coordinator or patient treatment coordinator.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all remaining charges.

Excellent team! Dr. Berro is extremely knowledgeable and is the best orthodontist I have been to! He and his coordinator, Zulma, answer all my questions to my satisfaction. Wendy and Christine are also friendly and patient and easy to coordinate things with. Couldn't have asked for a better team to walk my 'ortho' journey with!

Dr. Berro is the best! I first became a patient of Dr. Berro's in 1996 when I had to go back into braces as an adult. That treatment went very well, and I didn't need to go back in for years. However, I have begun to have some complications with 30 year old crowns and root canals, and ended up losing two molars right next to each other. The space was driving me crazy while waiting to heal and get implants. My dentist wanted over $800 to make a space holder, so I went back to Dr. Berro. He went out of his way to help me. He designed a retainer that would fill the space with real looking "teeth" and keep my teeth from moving around while I spend months finishing my implants. He even took the time to drive my impressions to a different lab because his normal lab doesn't do this kind of work. Instead of charging me a fortune, he did it for half the price the dentist wanted! If you're looking for an orthodontist that does great work and really cares about his patients, you should go see Dr. Berro!

Dr. Berro and his staff are professional, knowledgeable & friendly. I highly recommend that you get braces or Invisalign here. I was referred by two people. Jeannine the treatment coordinator is very nice and will explain the process. The office is clean, runs efficiently and the wait time is minimal. I am so happy with the results!

Leanne at the front desk always so welcoming and patient when scheduling my appointments that I had to work around my work schedule. Wonderful professional pleasant. Dr. Berro and his staff make you feel comfortable and at ease. At 68 I was hesitant to start orthodonture work to correct my bite. I encourage anyone who's having "later in life" bite problems to see Dr. Berro. If you are bringing in your youngster, feel assured she or he is in good hands and will end up with a beautiful smile without discomfort.

I am an adult who'd never had braces when growing up, and took me 2 and half years to remove them, just as he said that's how long it would take to complete at the first counseling. All the stuff members are very friendly. I've never had a single bad experience/ day from here for this entire 2 and half years coming to this place. He even fixed my tipped front tooth as a final touch today and it came out so beautiful more than I imagined. Thank you so much Dr. Berro for all your work and care. I love my smile now. My only regret is that I didn't visit you sooner!
