Dr. Berro received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of California, Los Angeles, and his Orthodontic Specialty degree from the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, Dr. Berro is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an accomplishment attained by less than 35% of orthodontists nationwide. Dr. Berro is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Orthodontists and the California Dental Association. He also regularly attends professional meetings and continuing education courses to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontics.

Dr. Berro was born and grew up in Long Beach. He has been providing outstanding orthodontic care for children, teens and adults in Long Beach, Los Alamitos and Chino Hills for 30 years. He has boy/girl twins who recently graduated college - his son from UCLA and his daughter from USC. In his free time he enjoys learning to play the piano and many sports including surfing, windsurfing, cycling and jogging.

Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each team member has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advancements by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Our office strives to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.

We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs, including checks, cash, and VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. We also accept EBT cards. Most patients use automatic payment from their bank account.

Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in an individual's health and well-being. We believe financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health benefit. Our office is dedicated to your health and will make every effort to make orthodontics affordable. We are sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs, and offer a variety of payment options:

  • Traditional initial payment plan A down payment at the start of treatment (usually 20 - 25%, (we are flexible with down payments) with the balance paid in monthly payments over the estimated length of treatment. There are no interest charges with this option.
  • If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.

    We work with most insurance plans., and are happy to assist you in determining whether your insurance company will cover your orthodontic treatment and the amount of your benefits. If your company does provide benefits, we will be happy to take care of the insurance paper work and file your claim for you. To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire. Please provide our office with your insurance information either prior to or at your first visit. If you have any questions regarding insurance, please contact our financial coordinator or patient treatment coordinator.

    Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all remaining charges.
