Dr. Sam J. Nechamkin (Dr. Sam) earned his doctorate degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. He then completed his Periodontics and Dental Implants specialty training at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
In addition to being a Sherman Dental Specialist Dr. Sam practices all fields of general dentistry. He is a board-certified specialist in the field of periodontics,(the foundation of teeth) and has received extensive training in dental implants and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Sam has been distinguished as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. Less than 35% of periodontists in the world hold the Diplomate status; Dr. Sam is the only Sherman dentist distinguished as a Diplomate in Periodontology.
Dr. Sam and his staff are committed to providing high-quality dental care using the most progressive equipment and procedures available. Most procedures are performed under intravenous sedation in order to promote a relaxed, predictable, and painless surgical experience.
As a Sherman dentist, Dr. Sam is dedicated to the continuity of care for all Sherman dental patients. His team consists of individuals with extensive experience from staff level to executive level in both the medical and dental fields. His team carefully plans and organizes the initial evaluation, treatment, and restorative care for each patient; as well as, research applicable financial options tailored to the needs of each patient individually.
Dr. Sam and his staff strive for high patient and referral satisfaction; therefore, they solicit communication and feedback from patients and the dental community. Remaining ahead of the paradigm shift is paramount, thus he is focused on continuing education in the fields of Dentistry, Dental Implants, and Periodontics.
Dr. Leke Olowokere grew up in Birmingham, AL as well as Houston, Texas, and now now calls North Texas home with his wife Hannah and baby girl Elianna. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas with a biology major and chemistry minor. After UNT, Dr. Leke received his DDS degree from Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Leke was able to serve in mission trips all over the world including Guatemala, Jamaica, and India as well as many locations here in North Texas. Serving the community is a passion of Dr. Leke's and he is thankful for the many opportunities he has been given to do so.
Dr. Leke pursued further training and completed a general practice residency at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Hospital. He was trained in various aspects of dentistry including implant placement/restorations, dentures, periodontal surgeries, root canal therapy, and more.
Dr. Leke has devoted hundreds of hours to continuing education and strives to stay on top of the most up to date research and treatment. He is a graduate of the globally recognized Misch Resnik Implant Institute, an advanced dental implant continuum which provides premier education in the field of dental implantology. His daily hope is to help patients feel comfortable, restore smiles, and to be a blessing to those around him.
In his free time, Dr. Leke can be found spending time with his wife and baby girl, playing basketball and staying physically active, growing in faith with his church family at City Church International, and enjoying all forms of music.

Dr. Sam and Angie are amazing! They glued my crown cap back on with care and efficiency. Great chair side manner, and good sense of humor. I highly recommend Sam's Premier Dentistry for all of your dental work. Thank you Angie and Dr. Sam!!!

So I found Dr. Sam and his amazing team by accident. I went to a dentist around the corner (not naming names, even though I should) I had a crown put on. My crown wasn't put on properly. I told them the bite didn't feel right and once the anesthetic wore off I could also feel that there was a gap between my gum and crown. I had an appointment set for a cleaning and I was going to address this issue. My appointment was at 8:30am, I made sure to get there on time to find the door to the office locked. The lady at the front desk informed me that they had a meeting and wouldn't be able to see me until 9:30. I got there on time but unfortunately my time was not as important as theirs. They didn't even let me in the office. So I sat in my car and proceeded to get more and more offended. I drove over 20 miles for said appt. I called Dr. Sam's office and they got me in at 10:30a that same day. What a Godsend. I was welcomed into Dr. Sam's office, I even received a welcome gift. He confirmed my suspicion that my crown was not seeted properly. He told me to give the other dentist a chance to make things right. They wanted to charge me and put in a filling or something to replace the gap. Of course, I wasn't having that, so I set up an appointment with Dr. Sam to make things right. My insurance wouldn't cover what needed to be done so I did have to pay out of pocket, but it was worth every dime. Dr. Sam (oddly) gives the most gentle shot I have ever had in my mouth. He made the crown right there in his office so I was able to walk out with a permanent crown the same day. During the time that I was there I enjoyed excellent treatment, excellent conversation and I felt like they all really cared. I moved out here from MI and I had a great dentist back there, so I know an excellent dentist when I see one and Dr. Sam is one excellent dentist! Thank you Dr. Sam, Patsy and Angie for being excellent, professional and friendly. Would I recommend Dr. Sam at Premier Dentistry? The answer is an absolute YES! I honestly don't normally do reviews but I felt that this one was worth my time. One last high I would like to point out is that they have a program to help out Veteran's in need of dental work, if that doesn't gain your respect, I don't know what will. Went to get a tooth pulled today and usually I'd ask to be put to sleep but I decided to use the laughing gas. I was extremely nervous but Dr Leke and Angie were so amazing and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Will 100% be staying with premium dentistry!

I had to have a tooth pulled and went in to see Dr. Leke. I am not a fan of going to the dentist but he and his assistant Angie made me feel very much at ease (along with the gas). I would highly recommend Dr. Leke.

I've been coming to Dr Sam for over 15 years! I've watched him grow and become one of the top dentists in the Texoma Area! He and his service and staff is always outstanding, accommodating and never goes without asking if I'm comfortable! You are truly appreciated Dr Sam!!

Best dentist office I've ever been too. Friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Dr Leke and his crew are awesome and always make sure you're well taken care of. I recommend them to anyone new in the area or just not happy with your current dental office.

I have been going to another dentist for 15 years and they went out of my network. So I had to find a dentist in my network. First on ins list was Premier Dentistry. I made my appt within 2 days of my call. I was very pleased with the staff and Dr Leke. Very gentle in filling a tooth I had chipped and lost old filling out. Old dentist wanted to cap it not fill it. Saved me lots of money and I have non pain. Thank you to staff and Dr Leke. I am now your new patient for good.

I just had my second appointment and it was better than my first appointment. Alley greets you with a smile and gets you checked right in. Then Angie took me back and even remembered me and was just as friendly as the first time. She talks with you, not at you. Dr. Leke is kind and wants to know your expectations. He says what he is doing and what you may feel. He checks frequently if your doing okay and waits for an answer. I have never experienced a comfort feeling in a dentist but these folks pull it off well. Checking out is an easy process. Previously I had been told how much and it was exactly that, no hidden fees when I went to check out. My next appointment was explained to me and the cost was written down for me. I believe it was Crystal that checked me out and was very considerate. These folks even let me split my payment in half which was a huge help. All places I have been want money all up front.

I have been going to Premier Dentistry for around a decade or so? Everyone in the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and makes their customers feel like family. They have all been very experienced in their field! I just received a new denture and it fits like a glove. Normally I've have to have the new ones adjusted a little bit but Dr Leke and Angie got them to fit perfect the first time I put them in! Thank you so much!

I'm a new patient, I saw Dr.Leke & Angie, I'm excited & looking forward to my treatment plan. I felt like they were very thorough, explained things very well for me. Gave me good information on some products i can use to help me as well as samples of the product. Everyone that I came into contact with was polite and friendly, you don't get that at many places anymore. Overall my experience was great!

What a rip off. All I wanted was a consultation. But dr. Sam charged me 500!!! Just for asking questions. Dr. Sam is a huge scam!!! These other reviews must be fake.

For those of you fellow claustrophobics who avoid dentists until the last possible moment, rest assured, you will be comfortable with the wonderful people at Premier Dentistry. They have made every effort to accommodate me and have done so fabulously. I've waited to give a review until I've been to see them multiple times (and honestly, I don't usually give reviews), but I am so moved by their genuineness that I feel compelled to offer my opinion. If you have issues about going to the dentist, I want to ease your mind right now. These are good people. Dr. Leke and Angie are beyond amazing, and Patty is so sweet I have to say Hi to her every time I go in! They are my trusted guides on the journey to my new beautiful smile. I would refer them to anyone who has reservations about going to the dentist. Run, don't walk. This is where you need to be for your own beautiful smile.
