Our family dental practice has been serving the Tampa Bay area since 1977. Dr. Leaman purchased thepractice in 2008 and has continued the tradition of honest and compassionate dental care. The practice has continued to grow, and we are proud of our location on1st Ave South near the Treasure Island Causeway. We always look forward to meeting new patients and serving our community.
Dr. Ryan Leaman has been practicing general dentistry in the Tampa Bay area since 2004.With mentoring from his parents and his uncle (a periodontist), Ryan chose to become a dentist at an early age. With an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his doctoral degree from The Ohio State University, and postdoctoral residency from the University of Florida, he is proud of his alumni affiliations. Dr. Leaman is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Jessica - Dental HygienistJessica moved from St. Louis,Missouri,to Seminole,Florida,when she was in elementary school. She has AA degrees in both PreMed and Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College. Jess always knew that she enjoyed the healthcare setting.She enjoys the challengeof making patients feel comfortable and at home in a often stressful environment. She finds it rewarding to have a patient enjoy his/her dental visit and look forward to returning. Jess enjoys playing with her two children as well as being outside. She also enjoys gardening, biking, camping, and kayaking.
Patty was born into a Navy family, and she has lived fromMaine to Key West and several places in between. While living in Satellite Beach, Florida, in high school, she was influenced by her family 's dental hygienist to pursue a career in dental hygiene. This led her to Saint Petersburg College and an appreciation for the Tampa Bay area. She loves working with her patients and is very passionate about helping them achieve optimal health, both oral and systemic. Patty enjoys golf, gardening, yoga, and animal rescue. Her favorite dental quote: 'Everyone smiles in the same language.'
Lori was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. When she was a young mother, she wanted a part-time job in order to be home more for her daughter. Fortunately, she took a position as the receptionist with a family dentist. She eventually became the office manager and truly felt like she found her place in dentistry. Now, 28 years later, she still loves seeing the joy and happiness on patients faces when they have gotten their smiles back. She relishes hearing stories about how their lives have changed. At home, she enjoys spending time with her family her daughter, grandson, and 3 feline fur babies. She also enjoys going to the movies, crafts, sewing, and fishing.
Brandi was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She decided to pursue a career in dental assisting because she enjoys making people laugh and smile. In her free time, she enjoys skydiving and going to the beach. She hopes to bring everyone's smile to their fullest potential.

Love this practice! Best dentist we've had Staff and Dr are very warm and welcoming. We have been able to be seen quickly for emergencies as needed. Dr Leaman is very good at explaining dental procedures and issues. Appointments are always on time. He treats our whole family and we highly recommend this practice!

First time at Dr Leaman's office. I am always apprehensive about cleanings. So much so that I wouldn't get my teeth cleaned without sweet air aka nitrous! I met with Dr Leaman & Brandi for a consult, then with Patty for my cleaning. It was such an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE!!! Lori is so warm, Brandi is an absolute doll, Patty cleaned my teeth without any discomfort. She talked to me the whole time and I actually didn't think about my teeth being cleaned at all, we just talked (she talked - I couldn't). What a great lady! Dr Leaman has such a warm, genuine and calming way about him I can't explain it. I felt very much at ease from the moment I stepped in the door! Thank you for such a great experience at the dentist!

The office is modern and spotless.the staff is friendly and helpful. While I was evacuated for hurricane Ian I had an older gold crown come off. Dr Leaman came in and reattached my crown as soon as the evacuation was lifted, even though the office was officially closed that day. Now that's a great dentist.
