Dr. Ryan Franklin grew up in Escondido, California. In 1992, he attended the University of California at Berkeley on a soccer scholarship where he earned extensive academic accolades and athletic achievement awards. He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology. After college, Dr. Franklin spent three years working in the bay area and Scotland managing production for Sun Microsystems. In 2004 he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated cum laude. As a dental student, Dr. Franklin received numerous national awards recognizing his accomplishments in oral pathology, oral medicine, and gross anatomy. While at UCLA, he was recognized on the Deans List quarterly and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for graduating in the top five percent of his class. Dr. Franklin received his Advanced Specialty Training and Masters of Science degree in Endodontics at University of Floridas College of Dentistry. In 2006 Dr. Franklin achieved Board Eligible Status with the American Board of Endodontics following successful completion of part I of the ABE examination.
Dr. Franklin is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the California State Association of Endodontists, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Fresno-Madera Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling to Mexico, mountain biking, fly fishing, wake boarding, and rooting on his favorite soccer team; Barcelona FC. Dr. Franklins favorite pastime however is spending time with his lovely wife and their three busy children.
