Dr. Ryan Franklin grew up in Escondido, California. In 1992, he attended the University of California at Berkeley on a soccer scholarship where he earned extensive academic accolades and athletic achievement awards. He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology. After college, Dr. Franklin spent three years working in the bay area and Scotland managing production for Sun Microsystems. In 2004 he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated cum laude. As a dental student, Dr. Franklin received numerous national awards recognizing his accomplishments in oral pathology, oral medicine, and gross anatomy. While at UCLA, he was recognized on the Deans List quarterly and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for graduating in the top five percent of his class. Dr. Franklin received his Advanced Specialty Training and Masters of Science degree in Endodontics at University of Floridas College of Dentistry. In 2006 Dr. Franklin achieved Board Eligible Status with the American Board of Endodontics following successful completion of part I of the ABE examination.
Dr. Franklin is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the California State Association of Endodontists, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Fresno-Madera Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling to Mexico, mountain biking, fly fishing, wake boarding, and rooting on his favorite soccer team; Barcelona FC. Dr. Franklins favorite pastime however is spending time with his lovely wife and their three busy children.

I had a lovely experience at Dr Franklin's office (if a person can say that and have a root canal). The ladies were very pleasant. Office very nice and Dr Franklin explained what was going to take place and what things were for. I was not nervous at all.

The staff was capable, friendly, and positive. The actual surgery was virtually painless. I was very comfortable. Dr. Franklin is informative and communicates very well.

I recently went to Dr. Franklin's office to have a root canal and tooth build up. I am always nervous before going to the dentist. His staff is top notch and very friendly. Dr. Franklin always explains what he will be doing and makes you feel at ease. The office is clean and very nice.

Dr. Ryan Franklin is a very skilled Endodontist. I had received a horrible procedure from a so-called Endodontist in Los Angeles. Dr. Ryan Franklin fixed everything that she had done wrong in a very short period of time and sent me on my way -it was completely awesome. I would recommend this endodontist to anyone and everyone in the area, he really knows what he's doing. Also his staff is wonderful very friendly and very helpful.

Dr. Franklin is fantastic and made me feel comfortable in the dentist chair (which is very unusual). His staff is amazing. April was my hygienist and Sierra helped me with billing/insurance things. Both of them were a dream to work with! I will absolutely go back to Dr. Franklin!

I've been working with Dr Franklin for about a decade now. Over all these years I developed a wonderful professional relationship. Dr Franklin is dedicated to his patients, doing everything he can to make the dental appointment rather pleasant. From my patients' reaction when I tell them that they need a root canal it is quite obvious of the reputation this procedure has for everybody. Dr Franklin's bedside manners, his compassion, as well as his professionalism is turning this perception on its head. Everybody is coming back to me praising him for how good the experience was. Knowing that the network of specialists I am working with includes Dr Franklin makes more comfortable with the long term prognosis of my treatments. I would not be fair if I wouldn't include in my review his team: everybody in his office is very professional, and, in the same time, easy going, creating a very relaxing environment. I have only praising words for Sierra and Amanda, who I also know for a very long time.
