The founders of our practice, Dr. Malz and Dr. Woodman, both grew up in Long Island only 15 minutes from each other but never met! It was not until dental school in Philadelphia that they became a pair. They were married in 1997 and have one son, Jonathan. After practicing dentistry in New York for ten years, We decided to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2005 for the wonderful weather, warm-hearted hospitality and great quality of life. Founding McKee Dental Associates in Matthews, they look forward to sharing their skills and experience, along with integrity and five-star service with you. Family is important to us. That is why we want our dental practice to be like a big family. We care about our patients and hope they can find a home with us for a long time. Outside of the office, they both enjoy being outdoors, boating, reading and watching movies.

Dr. Binita Changkakoty earned her dental degree at New York University- College of Dentistry in NY. She went on to complete her General Practice residency at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.As a general dentist, Dr. Binita enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is dedicated to providing quality dental care. She takes pride in helping her patients restore and maintain their smile.Outside of dentistry, Dr. Binita and her husband enjoy spending time together gardening, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Christian Alegria completed his undergraduate work at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH before attending The Medical University of South Carolina to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Alegrias primary goal in practice is to make dentistry easy to understand and provide comfortable, quality treatment. Dr. Alegria enjoys the artistry of dentistry and caring for patients of all ages. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. A traveling, finding a good spot to read a book, or watching Xavier basketball.

Dr. Ernesto Ulloa has been working as a General Dentist since 2013. He earned his General Dentistry Degree from the University of Medical Science of Villa Clara, Cuba, in 2015. He then went on to complete an Advanced Standing Program, DMD, at Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2020. He aims to grow and succeed by providing the highest quality dental service to the community. He loves helping patients by giving them smiles they have been dreaming of, for years. Apart from Dentistry, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling.

Tracey joined our team in 2018. Although new to our practice she has more than 25 years of experience in the community in dentistry. Born and raised in Charlotte she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Tracey truly loves her profession and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She feels especially excited and accomplished when she can make patients with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy receiving dental care.Away from the office, Tracey loves spending time with her five children. She loves days on the lake, golfing, and watching her boys play football.

Lisa received her EDDA from the University of Louisville Dental School. She moved to Charlotte and met the docs in 2006. After a brief move to Wilmington, she moved back to Charlotte and joined the McKee Dental Associates team again! She enjoys all aspects of the dental field and is currently the main instructor for the Dental Staff Institute.

She loves seeing her students grow into wonderful assistants. Between helping patients and new assistants she truly loves her dental career. If she is not working you may find her traveling with her steel tip dart league or at horse shows around the Carolinas with her daughter Kylie.

Im Mary, I recently joined McKee Dental Associates as a patient coordinator. Although Im new to the dental field, Im no stranger to the front desk. I love interacting with patients and helping guide them through all phases of their care.

I am originally from Follansbee West Virginia which is 30 minutes outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but my husband and I have called Charlotte home since 2006.In my free time I enjoy traveling, especially to our happy place, Hilton Head Island, playing with my puppy, Griswold, gardening and cheering on my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hi, Im Monalisa. I first started with McKee Dental Associates back in 2010. I left in 2014 to travel and explore. Im glad to say Im back with my family at McKee Dental Associates. Although my background was mostly in business I have to say I have gained such a wonderful and dynamic experience working with McKee and being able to interact with a myriad of patients that have also become part of the McKee Dental Associates family.

Its been a joy to come back to see familiar faces all grown up. More importantly Im so excited to continue my journey in this field that Ive come to love so much. In my downtime I travel, read, work on learning new languages and dabble in photography.I hope to make your experience at McKee as pleasurable and as smooth as possible.

I spent 3 years in the car industry from the roles of reception to the finance team before I joined the McKee Dental Associates team in August 2020. I enjoy the interaction I get to have with each patient and the feeling of being part of a small family inside of a large community.

Stephanie is a native of Mecklenburg County who joined the team at McKee Dental Associates in 2016 as a dental assistant. Her background includes completing a program in orthodontic assisting at the Orthodontic Assisting School of Atlanta as well as completing a program in dental assisting here in Charlotte.

Stephanie enjoys being able to see the positive impact that dentistry has for the patients appearance and self-esteem. She loves working with both children and adults. When not at work, she is busy with her daughter, Kendall, who is a competitive dancer and with her baby boy, Kaidyn.

Hi, my name is Denilson but everyone calls me Denis. I went to Monroe High and graduated in 2016 and later attended Dental Assisting School in 2019 at Charlotte Dental Assisting School. I recently joined the McKee Dental team in 2021 full of excitement to help every patient gain more confidence in their smile.

This is Larisa - she has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She graduated from Blackstone Institute then followed with continuing education at Chapel Hill and CPCC. She prides herself with staying current in continuing dental education classes; a commitment in which she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate Larisas gentle and compassionate bedside manner and her fun-loving personality.
