Dr. Tritapoe is a general dentist practicing in Fort Ashby, WV and has been helping local residents have bright, healthy smiles. Dr. Tritapoe was born in Houston, Texas and spent his childhood years in Valparaiso, Indiana and Martinsburg, WV. His family was then transferred to Kingsport, TN where he graduated from High School. Dr. Tritapoe received his Bachelors Degree of Science in Exercise Physiology at West Virginia University and then attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he attained his degree in Dental Surgery. Dr. Tritapoe has been practicing dentistry since 2012 in Romney, WV. He began practicing in Fort Ashby, WV after acquiring Dr. Ronald Haggertys practice in late Summer 2015.
Dr. Russell Tritapoe is married to Dr. Teal (Grady) Tritapoe, DC who is a Fort Ashby native. Dr. Teal practices as a Chiropractor in Fort Ashby, WV. Dr. Teal has strong roots in Fort Ashby and the Tritapoes plan to remain in the area for the future. When he is not working, he thoroughly enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and pursues hobbies in fly-fishing and archery.

I moved to WV about 1 1/2 years ago and thought I'd never find a dentist like I had in PA. My PA dentist knew me since I was old enough to see a dentist (I am in my 50's now), so imagine how difficult it was for me to have to change. After my first appointment at this office I knew I was lucky! They treated me like family! I could not be happier! This is a top-notch dentist with top-notch staff! I can not thank them enough for the excellent care they provide! I always leave there with a sparkling smile on my face & warmth in my heart! They truly care about their patients!

Today was my first visit, they did everything very well dealing with the covid-19. When I went in to the building it was very comfortable feeling even in the chair sitting I felt comfortable. Everything was explained to me and you could tell they really cared. I think I will make this my permanent dentist. I needed a fast appointment to have a tooth removed they scheduled the appointment fast.

I never have to wait more than 10 mins. at Dr. Tritapoe's office. My hygienist is very thorough and gentle and so is Dr. Tritapoe. I love Dr. Tritapoe and staff and highly recommend them.

Dr. Tritapoe and staff are amazing! While visiting WV, I broke a tooth and was able to be seen almost immediately. He took care of my tooth and I was on my way before I knew it. As I'm not a regular patient and it was a Friday, it would have been easy for them to turn me away without issue but instead they worked me in and didn't make me feel like I inconvenienced them. Thank you, Dr. Tritapoe, Amy and Marcelle for your kind attention and excellent service!

Dr. Tritapoe is the exception to the dental office experience. He is excellent at what he does, has a wonderful personality and great concern for individual patients. His staff are excellent at all their jobs and very friendly as well, making you feel at ease when you walk in the door. Together, they offer the superior, quality dental service I have ever known. And Dr. Tritapoe can give numbing shots in your mouth without even being felt...he will be done and I've asked if he gave me the shots yet!! I've had experience as his patient several times and he's the BEST...this last time was an emergency, resulting from an injury to a front tooth and he got me in office right away and took care of me. With limited expertise in any medical care near here, I thank God we have Dr. Tritapoe!!!!

Admire everyone in Dr. Russell Tritapoe office. He is a Super Great Dentist. So glad I found them. Friendly, Fast, Easy Going, They are precious people. If you get a chance stop in.
