Dr. Shreyesh Rupareliais one of the topdental implantsurgeons in the country. His passion for his profession and care for his patients have led him to become a leader in the field of modern dentistry. Dr. Ruparelia has a fellowship with theInternational Congress of Oral Implantologyand theAcademy ofGeneral Dentistry.
Dr. Ruparelia received his bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology from theUniversity of Marylandand doctor of dental surgery from theUniversity of Maryland Dental School. During his final year, he went on to complete a competitive prosthodontic clerkship program, where he received advanced training in dental implants, full-mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic dentistry.
Skilled and trained in all areas of dentistry, Dr. Ruparelia is certified insedation dentistry, Invisalign braces, and laser dentistry. He has devoted himself to perfecting the art of restorative dentistry and full-mouth dental implants. To date, he has performed hundreds of full-mouth implant procedures and has placed thousands of individual and partial implants.
Dedicated to providing the best possible dental care, Dr. Ruparelia has committed himself to continued study and advanced trainings in the field of modern dentistry. He has studied with the esteemedSeattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education, has completed extensive work with leading experts on dental implants at theMisch Institute,and has received additional training on advanced bone and soft tissue grafting at the renownedPikos Implant Institute.
An active member in the dental community, Dr. Ruparelia holds memberships with theAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,theInternational Congress of Oral Implantology,theDental Organization for Conscious Sedation,theAcademy of General Dentistry,theAmerican Dental Association,theNorthern Virginia Dental Association,and theVirginia Dental Association.
Dr. Muhammadgraduated Magna Cum Laude from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he completed The Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at the University of Connecticut Health Center where he received advanced training in general and implant dentistry. He is passionate about providing the best dental care to his patients and continues to attend continuing education courses every year to stay up-to-date with the rapidly progressing dental sciences.
Dr. Muhammad's goal is to provide quality dentistry with beautiful results that are tailored to his patient's specific needs. He is committed to making each patients visit comfortable by explaining all procedures thoroughly. He loves getting to know his patients and seeing them leave with a smile!
Dr. Chandrika Dokku is originally from Montreal, Qubec and earned her formal dental education in Quebec City, Canada. After graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, New York, where she received additional training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients achieve a healthy and confident smile in a comfortable environment. To her, its a privilege to build long-lasting relationships with her patients and help them achieve good oral health. She is committed to regularly advancing her skills and knowledge through continuing education courses, and learning new techniques and procedures. Through her work, she sees the opportunity to meet great people and positively impact their lives.
Jenny Humbertson has been part of our hygiene team, working to make it strong, since 2003. She loves what she does which makes her fantastic at what she has to offer our patients. Jenny is very committed to helping patients maintain gingival health through outstanding care and education. In her free time, you can often find Jenny spending the day with her husband Brian and two wonderful children Morgan and Daniel. She looks forward to being a part of your care team!
Chrissy Abel joined our team in May of 2012. She has been a dental assistant for 15 years and enjoys transforming patients smiles! A native Virginian, she was raised in the Sterling area and is a 2001 graduate from Potomac Falls High School. Chrissy is an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and participates with their 5k in Lansdowne every May. In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys playing softball going to the beach and spending time with her family. She lives in Sterling with her husband and their kids Jadon, Jaycee, and Jett.
Claudia Quintanilla joined our team in January of 2014 after she relocated from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She started her dental career as a dental assistant for a general practice, and then moved to the administrative side at a dental school. In her free time, she loves staying fit, and researching beauty tips and tricks. She lives in Aldie with her husband and her adorable dogs Loki and Rocco.
Jessica Montgomery joined the team May of 2017. She has been a dental assistant for over 15 years. She ensures her patients satisfaction and comfort by carefully listening to their needs and thoroughly explaining procedures to them. Her greatest joy is transforming someones life with a smile! Jessica resides in Fairfax County with her son Kayden. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her church, reading, cooking & movies.
Erica Wallace joined Cascades Center for Dental Health in 2020. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Providing quality care with compassion is her top priority. Erica loves spending time with her husband and young son. She is an avid Buckeye fan, enjoys reading and bicycling.
Cynthia Thompson joined our team in December 2018 and most days you can find her greeting you at the front desk. She has been in the dental field for over 12 years starting as a dental assistant when she graduated high school. She loves the dentistry because of the possibility of improving patients health and confidence. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, DIY projects, and traveling. She lives in Reston with her boyfriend and two dogs King and Copper.
Taehee Kim, who also goes by Tae joined our team in October of 2020. She has been in the dental field for 11 years and enjoys what she does. She loves to meet new people every day, but also enjoys getting to know patients as they return for additional visits.
Danielle Matthews joined the practice March of 2019. She was raised in Loudoun County and graduated from Broad Run. She started the dental field in 2008 and that is where her love of all things dental started. With her mothers guidance, who is also a dental assistant, she started the dental assisting program at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA. Danni graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2016. Her favorite thing about working at Cascades Center for Dental Health is using all the new technology our practice has. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, working out, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tammy Vuong joined our office in May 2021. Before moving to Virginia, she worked at a renowned periodontal office in Philadelphia. Tammy enjoys putting her patients at ease and knowing that she is helping their overall health through dental care. In her spare time, she is an avid hockey fan and can also be found volunteering for the local humane society. Tammy lives in Haymarket with her husband of 20 years and her two wonderful children.
Melissa Power, now in her third year with Cascades and truly enjoying every minute spent with her patients and coworkers, has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 16 years. Originally hailing from Massachusetts, where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex College, Melissa has spent her entire career in the dental field - beginning as a Dental Assistant in her early teenage years, working up to office and clinical management, and now spending the last decade and a half as a Hygienist, helping her patients achieve their perfect smile. Outside of the treatment room, Melissa spends her free time with her husband and son, most often splitting time between being on the water, boating and at the ball field, watching her son play baseball. She enjoys the outdoors and sports, particularly baseball, hockey and football - and is an unabashed Boston fan for all three (the Nats are her favorite NL team, but not when they play the Sox) - and good food, live music and relaxing with friends and family spell a perfect day.
Stacey Escobar, one of our many super star dental assistants. Stacey had been a dental assistant for the past 11 years. She is currently in the process of applying to dental hygiene programs to further her career in the dental field. Staceys attention to detail shows through her patient care. She thrives on personal interactions and spreading positivity wherever she goes. When Stacey is not taking care of patients she loves the adventure of traveling and exploring new places, especially outdoors.
