Dr. Anand is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, one of the best in the country. She has since had extensive continuing education training in various aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, orthodontics (invisalign) and implants (UMDNJ-Rutgers School of Dental Medicine AAID), to enhance her clinical skills and to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. She takes pride in listening to her patients, takes time to explain their treatment options and with her gentle touch, helps the most apprehensive patients relax. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys skiing and spending precious time with her husband, daughter Samaira, and son Shray.
One of my goals as a Manager is to provide new and existing patients with an experience they will always remember. Our top priority at Lasting Smiles of Highland Park is to create an environment that is comfortable while provided the highest quality dentistry available. I have spent all of my adult life helping patients get the care they want and need while helping them overcome any challenges they may face. The best reward is to see them smiling when leaving the office after their visit with us.
I have worked in the in the field of dentistry for more than 15 years as a Registered Dental Assistant. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in dentistry. Over the years, I have trained dental students as well as other assistants. I have worked in many areas of dentistry such as: General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics and Periodontics. Working in this field I have met a lot of amazing people. I absolutely enjoy what I do and I am always looking for ways to expand.
My patients are always a priority while under my care. I ensure they receive the best dentistry I am capable of. I regularly attend continuing education courses to update my knowledge of dental procedures. I graduated top of my class at MCC and have been treating patients for over 25 years.

Had a very pleasant experience. Front Desk greeted me happily and everything was in a timely manner. Hardly any wait. The doctor gave me enough time to hear me out with my problems and gave appropriate options. Extremely happy. Highly recommend the visit to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

An amazing experience, everyone is so friendly and the place has a very peaceful energy to it. The dental hygienist who treated me, Sara, was nothing short of exceptional and Dr. Anand was very friendly and detailed. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Hussain and Jeri were great during my visit! I hadn't been to a dentist in a very long time and they made me feel at ease and welcomed. Looking forward to my next visit in 6 months!

Before lasting smiles, my mouth was ugly. Full of old plaque and neglect. My morning breath was vehemently melting my partners nose. After lasting smiles my mouth is clean, my spit saliva smells fresh and my partners nose rests easy. I now have a lasting smile

Got an appointment very quickly. Arrived at 8:07 for an 8:30 appointment and they got me in. My veneer had broken off and they cemented it back quickly. I was leaving the office at 8:31 for an 8: 30 appointment. You can't beat that efficiency and customer care.

Dr. Ruma is my new dentist. I already cannot recommend her and her team enough. I have never been to a dentist who explained everything to me in detail that i can actually understand. I look forward to working with her for my dental plan.

I am very happy with the care I have received at this practice. I have seen both Dr Anand and Dr Ruby and I was impressed with them both. Joanna and Nicole the receptionists there have always been very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

Very good front desk service , very good dentistry. Dr Anad and Dr Ruby are very friendly and welcoming. A great clinic. Pay attention to insurance coverage. Not all doctors there are in net in same insurances. Meaning Dr X can be in net for you while Dr Y 6 feet away is not.

It's been at least 4 years since I've seen a dentist and this is the 1st dentist that does it all. Quite impressive. Dr. Anand made me feel very comfortable. 5 stars!

The dentists here are great, however you have to be lucky to get past the receptionists and the office manager first. Prior to my first visit I called and asked if Lasting Smiles accepted my insurance which they did. Upon my first visit they scheduled my appointment with a dentist who was actually out of network, then asked me to pay the bill. I had to cancel a few appointments, which I did well in advance, due to Covid exposure, waiting for the results of a Covid test, and coping with grief while dealing with a death in the family. Now Lasting Smiles expects me to pay a $50 fee. It is a shame that Lasting Smiles has no sense of empathy for its patients. Choose this business for great dentists and hygienists, however beware of the ignorant receptionists and office manager.

Everyone at this office is so kind and thorough with coronavirus precautions!! I felt so safe. They take your temperature and don't allow more than 1-2 people in the waiting rm at a time. I used to go to a clinic and see different dentists until I came to this office a couple of years ago. Dr. Anand, Erica, and Cheryl really care about each patient. I used to see Dr. Anand but since my work schedule changed, I'm now seeing Dr. Ruby. I wasn't sure about seeing someone other than Dr Anand but I was pleasantly surprised. She's so sweet and knows her stuff

I'm new to the area and needed to find a dentist. I saw lots of positive reviews so I scheduled an appointment here. Everyone was very kind and welcoming! The dentist was very informative and thoroughly explained everything to me. They did my xrays and went over them with me, cleaned my teeth, and set up an appointment for a few fillings. The office was clean and had a home feel to it. All in all, a very positive experience!
