I get really nervous going to the dentist, but everyone I've met so far has been SO kind and understanding. This office is a very comfortable environment and I would recommend it to anyone :)

Dr. Botello and staff are constantly working in the best interests of their patients. Before every procedure I have been informed of the treatment, the amount of insurance coverage and my co-pay. No surprises. In having an ancient crown replaced (it had been worn through on the base) the doctor found extensive decay in the tooth. He explained the situation and took care of the issue, making sure there was no pain. Any questions I have ever had have always been addressed promptly, professionally, honestly and respectfully. I would highly recommend this practice.

I am in the area for the month of February and had an emergency problem with a tooth. I chose Dr. Botello for a few reasons, his staff were so kind on the phone, he scheduled me very quickly and I felt very comfortable with his decision. I needed a root canal and crown which he did with the upmost professionalism. I needed an antibiotic and he made sure I got it. The work he did was outstanding and I can compare because I have had other root canals done. He rushed my permanent crown due to time restraints. I could not be more satisfied with him and his entire staff. I would recommend Dr. Botello a million times over.

Entered the office to have an infected tooth pulled (second to last molar) from beneath an ill-fitting crown. I researched the potential out of pocket costs before going in to the office ($250). Since COVID-19 ravaged my family, money has been VERY tight. I was also in ridiculous pain. Dr. Botello indicated he could squeeze in the tooth pull. A treatment plan was presented with an out of pocket cost of $1,688. This was scratched through for the amazing low price of $860.30. I was in shock in addition to the pain. "Why so much even at the discounted $860 price?" I asked. The office staff member quickly responded with a complete falsehood - "it is early in the year and you have not yet met your deductible". I hung my head, and indicated I was going home to research this. The office worker exclaimed "you cannot leave with that treatment plan - that is not your copy!" I handed the document over and said "please make me a copy". She returned with the same original document, this time discounted to $459.30. I signed the document. Dr Botello then performed various procedures NONE OF WHIICH ARE COVERED BY INSURANCE. I was sent home with one slip of paper. A penicillin script. No pain medication, no instructions, no treatment plan, no receipt of payment. Nothing. The worst pain of my life was to follow while recovering from these procedures. Through my own research, I discovered that about 10% of patients from the procedures he performed will experience shards of bone or tooth emerging from the area like slivers. Yes - I was in this lucky group - causing additional pain for weeks. BBB case has been filed, FTC and Florida State Dental Board cases are in progress. No malpractice here amazingly, just an absolute violation of professional ethics and professional dental procedures in almost every possible way. The Florida State Dental Board representative was horrified. Dentists like this are doing such a high volume of business, they simply do not care any more. The minute you even nudge back at them for how you were treated, they want to immediately jettison you with your dental records. It is on to the next patient. This office is so busy, they scheduled my deep cleanings (left and right) 3 months apart! Please learn from my hell. AWLAYS VERIFY STATEMENTS REGARDING INSURANCE COVERAGES AND OUT OF POCKET COSTS FROM THE DENTAL STAFF and NEVER sign a treatment plan without a thorough discussion of each line item. Because of my "sticker shock" - I never even looked at the left column of procedures. I just assumed they were common aspects for the tooth pull. I hope you never experience the horror of wondering where the bone that was grafted into your jaw came from...

Dr. Botello and team are by far the best group I have been to in the area. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and Dr. Botello talks you through every procedure, no matter how big or small. He and the team even did great with my fearful son's difficult rebuild of a broken tooth - I appreciate their patience and kindess!

Dr. Botello is the best dentist ever. He rebuilt my broken practically rotten tooth perfectly which I thought would just be pulled. He said, "No, no we can save it. No need for getting rid of it."

I have made a appointment last week for Monday for 9 am they attend me at 10:30 am, the asst took my x-ray for my broken rear tooth then later the doc came poking around the tooth and told me that he has no time to fix it and charge me 127.00 in 10 minutes of check up what a rip off all I wanted is to remove it not a root canal that is coating me 1,600.00 is he crazy .

Dr. Botello has been our dentist for more than five years since we started to go to his office in Tampa. Ruben has always been friendly, courteous, and caring with us. His office is a little far from us, in Largo, Florida, and we don't mind the extra drive to go to see him. Even our ten-year-old daughter likes to go to his practice since she has never been to a pediatric dentist before. Our whole family loves Dr. Botello.

Best experience at a dentist thus far! The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Kaitlyn was extremely nice and professional explaining everything to me as we went along. My teeth have never felt cleaner! Dr. Botello's prices are extremely reasonable and even allows a payment plan. I definitely will be returning!

Cost me to lose a molar tooth because my ongoing requests to check why it's in pain so much were flat out ignored, for over a year. Had to pay close to $5000 to get an implant done elsewhere. Not happy!
