Here at the office of Dr. Roy D. Jennings, we go out of our way to make your visit a stress-free and rewarding experience. Our modern and comfortable office features many technological innovations and techniques designed to put you at ease and help you make informed decisions about your dental care.
Dr. Roy D. Jennings was born in Michigan but grew up at an early age in a small suburb of Dayton, Ohio along with two sisters and one brother. He attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate and pursued his dental school education there as well.
After graduating with honors from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 2004, he completed a postdoctoral residency in comprehensive care and cosmetic dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Upon graduation, and having fallen in love with the state of North Carolina, he moved to the Charlotte region where he works as a family dentist in Monroe, NC. He and his team helps people of all ages with a broad range of dental services.
Beth earned a degree in business administration from Wingate University. She has been an important part of our team at this office location since 1989 and continues to help Dr. Jennings grow the practice.
Originally from Georgia, Laura became interested in the dental field while working for Help A Child Smile in Atlanta. In 2006, Laura moved to Charlotte and joined the team at the front office in 2011.
Barbara earned her Associates of Science degree in dental hygiene and a bachelors degree in business. She has over 17 years of experience in educating the public about dental hygiene. Barbara has been with our team for over 10 years and enjoys helping Dr. Jennings and his patients.
Originally from Florida, Stephanie began her dental career in 1969, training as a dental assistant. She continued her education and earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Miami Dade College. She joined our team in January of 2012.
Stephanie enjoys helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal dental health through our General and Family dental services. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and visiting her two daughters and grandchildren.
Junie was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in New York City. She is married with two beautiful girls. She attended the City College of New York and graduated with a bachelors degree in Sociology.
Junie was first introduced to dentistry when she moved to North Carolina in 2002 and has been working in the dental field ever since. She enjoys being intricately involved in dentistry because she gets to help people achieve a beautiful smile. When not at work, she loves spending time with her family.
Carley has been a dental assistant for over 2 years. She was raised in Monroe and is very excited to be working in her hometown. She attended Central Piedmont Community College where she completed her Dental Assisting certification as well as her Associates Degree in Arts. She enjoys being a dental assistant because it allows her to closely interact with patients while helping them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
When Carley isnt at work, she and her fianc, Travis, enjoy spending time with their family and friends. She also loves to dance! She started dancing when she was 3 years old and has learned many different styles of dance from ballet and tap to modern and gymnastics. In 2013-2014, she continued her love of dance and football when she was an NFL cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers.

Dr. Jennings and his staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. From the front desk to the hygienist to Dr. Jennings, the level of professionalism and patient care is top notch. I highly recommend them.

I currently drive from Charlotte to Monroe to Dr. Jennings Dentistry.......... because of the quality of care and professionalism of everyone in this office. Visiting the dental office is not a favorite on anyone's list but the performance of the staff here does an exceptional job of providing concern and comfort while achieving the work to be done. Today I saw a patient that I haven't seen in 4 years. She gave me the best compliment on my teeth and smile. She's heard me sharing in the past about my teeth journey but she hasn't seen me since I started the process. It was one of those genuine compliments and it meant a lot. I credit it all to Dr Jennings. My dental journey is not the typical fix, and it required a lot of detailed work. With Dr Jennings' guidance, hard work and patience, I am excited to say that not only do I love my new smile but I've had healthy teeth for years. It's not an easy thing now days to find a knowledgeable, extremely talented and ethical dentist. He also has an eye for esthetics which is always a big win. I highly recommend Dr Jennings to anyone.

I am so very impressed and grateful I've found my new dentist the office took me in as if they had known me all my life. Being a cancer patient I was so nervous going into a dental office with the damage chemo had caused. But they made me super comfortable. I went in for a chipped front tooth and Dr. Jennings went above and beyond to fix it. I'm pretty sure that it looked 10 times better than before. He even made sure that it would be less possible for me to chip it again since he saw that I grind my teeth. If you want to be treated like a family member in A dental office. This is for sure the place!

Excellent dentist and staff! I drive an hour for my appointments and it is well worth the trip! I have a fear of Novocain, but with the skill and expertise of Dr. Roy it is painless!

Dr. Jennings has been our dentist for a number of years. It is so nice to have a Doctor that understands my history of extensive orthodontics to correct my bite and straighten my teeth! He discusses what his procedure will be, interacts with my input rather than ignoring me, and has given excellent care to us. His staff is fantastic, facility is always pristine, and I am well pleased with our care.

I haven't been to the dentist in over 7 years. I was very nervous too. I got my teeth cleaned here today. Everybody was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure i was comfortable and explained everything before they did anything to my mouth. Definitely found my new dentist. I even made another appointment.

Dr Jennings knew how afraid I was, he was so patient with me, explaining the procedure step by step. He gave me back my confidence and smile that I hadn't seen or felt for quite some time . He truly is a miracle Dentist. His staff treated me like family, they are the best !

Superb, professional, and Customer focused service. He is the most personable and conscientious dentist I have ever experienced. He is meticulous in his work and carefully examines the intricacies of every procedure. As a big bonus, he is supported by a highly trained staff from receptionists to hygienists.
