Dr. Roy D. Jennings was born in Michigan but grew up at an early age in a small suburb of Dayton, Ohio along with two sisters and one brother. He attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate and pursued his dental school education there as well.
After graduating with honors from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 2004, he completed a postdoctoral residency in comprehensive care and cosmetic dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Upon graduation, and having fallen in love with the state of North Carolina, he moved to the Charlotte region where he works as a family dentist in Monroe, NC. He and his team helps people of all ages with a broad range of dental services.
Beth earned a degree in business administration from Wingate University. She has been an important part of our team at this office location since 1989 and continues to help Dr. Jennings grow the practice.
Originally from Georgia, Laura became interested in the dental field while working for Help A Child Smile in Atlanta. In 2006, Laura moved to Charlotte and joined the team at the front office in 2011.
Barbara earned her Associates of Science degree in dental hygiene and a bachelors degree in business. She has over 17 years of experience in educating the public about dental hygiene. Barbara has been with our team for over 10 years and enjoys helping Dr. Jennings and his patients.
Originally from Florida, Stephanie began her dental career in 1969, training as a dental assistant. She continued her education and earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Miami Dade College. She joined our team in January of 2012.
Stephanie enjoys helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal dental health through our General and Family dental services. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and visiting her two daughters and grandchildren.
Junie was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in New York City. She is married with two beautiful girls. She attended the City College of New York and graduated with a bachelors degree in Sociology.
Junie was first introduced to dentistry when she moved to North Carolina in 2002 and has been working in the dental field ever since. She enjoys being intricately involved in dentistry because she gets to help people achieve a beautiful smile. When not at work, she loves spending time with her family.
Carley has been a dental assistant for over 2 years. She was raised in Monroe and is very excited to be working in her hometown. She attended Central Piedmont Community College where she completed her Dental Assisting certification as well as her Associates Degree in Arts. She enjoys being a dental assistant because it allows her to closely interact with patients while helping them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
When Carley isnt at work, she and her fianc, Travis, enjoy spending time with their family and friends. She also loves to dance! She started dancing when she was 3 years old and has learned many different styles of dance from ballet and tap to modern and gymnastics. In 2013-2014, she continued her love of dance and football when she was an NFL cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers.
