Dr. Barry L. Rotz, DMD opened his Wexford-based dental practice in August 1986 with a philosophy of treating each patient as if they were family. Since then, he has expanded his practice to 23 employees including four other dentists. Dr. Rotz was the first dentist in Pennsylvania to introduce CEREC technology, which utilizes CAD CAM computer visualization. Dr. Rotz also holds a B.S. in Natural Science Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Stemming from his roots in rural Pennsylvania, Dr. Rotz is also very involved in his community. He served as president of the Cranberry Township Athletic Association for four years and president of the Seneca Valley Lacrosse Association for the following four years
When Dr. Rotz is not at the office, you can find him fishing in the Outer Banks, attending a Pirates game, making wine, or spending time with his family. Dr. Rotz and wife, Dianne, have two grown children. Their daughter, husband and their triplets live nearby in Pittsburgh while their son resides in Virginia. The couple make their home in Cranberry Township with their pup, Lincoln
Dr. Maria Sisco grew up, the oldest of six brothers and sisters, in the beautiful New England state of Connecticut. She graduated with honors from The University of Rochester in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, graduating in May 1982. Dr. Sisco received a Certificate from the General Practice Residency Program at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Sisco practiced dentistry for 12 years in Connecticut and Massachusetts before moving to Pittsburgh in 1995 with her family. She has been with our practice since August 1995. It is because of her compassion, talent and her drive for excellence that earns her patients trust and respect.
Dr. Ginger Stevenson-Clarke was born and raised locally in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Dr. Clarke graduated with top honors from Deer Lakes High School in 1995. She then attended Gannon University in Erie, PA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1999.
Dr. Clarke then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating in May 2003. She worked as a general dentist at a few local offices before joining our team in 2005. Dr. Clarkes patients show their dedication to her because of her caring personality and the interest and quality of care she shows them.
Dr. Clarke is married to her wonderful husband, Chad. They have two children, Cameron and Cadence. In her free time, Dr. Clarke enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as hiking with her husband and children, trying to find all the waterfalls.
Dr. Burzese received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2015. While at Pitt, he volunteered his time and services to underserved communities and took part in several mission trips to Honduras, providing dental care to those in need. Prior to earning his DMD, Dr. Burzese received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from The College of Wooster.
Dr. Burzese has always been passionate about dental hygiene mostly attributed to the influence of his uncle and mentor, Dr. Rotz. He is eager to join Dr. Rotz, and his associates in providing comprehensive dentistry, and addressing specific oral health needs.

Just tried to make an appointment. Whoever answered is extremely rude and unhelpful. Made me feel unwelcomed. I'll find a new dentist

They got me in next day for a chipped tooth and even got my cleaning done at the same time. Helpful, responsive, safe. Will definitely be switching to this practice.

Got overdue teeth cleaning accomplished. Office was very vigilant on keeping patients safe, did a great job handling changes. Great team of professionals, made experience a pleasure. They are the Best dental practice. Great having them in the area.

Every single dentist and assistant here is amazing. I go here regularly and have had no issues, they are always in time and friendly and professional. Today I had an emergency and they fit me in, and I couldn't have imagined my tooth turning out as well as it did. I highly recommend the office e and evry single one of the staff!

I am not sure where to begin.......I wanted to thank Dr Rotz, Julie and the exceptional team who helped me get through an unfortunate situation and made it all well worth the long long process! I now know and appreciate what it takes to go through a tooth resorption, tooth extraction, the healing process before crown, and then the process of getting a crown. As difficult as this process was, Dr. Rotz and team members ALL made it as pleasant as possible. I appreciate the time, concern to detail and overall sensitivity of this unfortunately being a front tooth. I highly recommend this practice as I know that you will agree with the utmost professionalism and care that they display. Thank you for always taking such good care of me!

Be aware if you are going here..you will not get what you want. All associated doctors works on only one motto of what they will need to do to get more money from... . I went to some dr named bruice..!!?? He did Not even exam properly n works more on computer.. n always recommends the procedures that they get more money from insurance. Defenitely not recommend here..

Have been a patient here for the last 20 years. Drs Rotz and SIsco are the best dentists in the area. ********* Son lives in China was home for 12 days scheduled appointment for filling. Told office would pay cash since no insurance. Paid in cash the amount due for the procedure at the procedure, went back to China. Several months later received a bill for $126.00 that was not covered by insurance. I called to remind the office he had no insurance (told them at the time of the appointment) and paid the total due in cash the day of the procedure. Now they persist in telling me their office found his insurance was cancelled March of 2017 and they needed to collect the balance from him. He has been in China for years, does not nor did not have insurance. They insist on billing for the balance $126.00 that was not included in the final bill that was paid the day the procedure was completed.********* Their offices are spotless and comfortable; equipment is current and well maintained. They handle their patient's dental problems with current expert technology, which is coupled with broad experience and ability that by far surpasses most local dental offices. There is plenty of parking; appointments are kept within 5 minutes and the efficiency of the staff is exactly what you need to get you moving and on your way. These guys ( Dr Maria Sisco included) are the A team of dentists. IF they can't do what is needed in their shop, their recommendations are of other experts. I had to have an oral surgeon take care of one of my teeth. Their recommendation was extraordinary. Thanks Doctor Sisco. DO not trust their "Final bill. The billing department is awful.

I really like my dental visits to Dr. Barry Rotz's office. The hygenists are pleasant, but also very thorough! Dr. ROTZ always examines my teeth after each cleaning and has immediately scheduled any work that might be necessary. The prices are fair and we have no dental insurance!

I have seen Dr. Burzese several times. He provided me with an excellent comprehensive exam and a plan for future dental work, such as a filling that needs to be redone. He also made new, modern retainers for me, as I had noticed some slight shifting in my bottom row. The retainers are comfortable to wear and fit perfectly. The staff at Dr. Rotz's office are very friendly and accommodating. The dental hygienist who worked with me was a pleasure to have and I received one of the most gentle cleanings I have ever had. My family will continue our dental care at Dr. Rotz's office and recommend Dr. Burzese to anyone we know who is looking for excellent dental care.

This is a wonderful practice. They always take time to talk to you and the regular hygienists are great. Located in a great place for Wexford, Cranberry and other places to reach.

My husband had 2 temporary crowns fall off within 24 hours leaving him in severe pain for weeks. They offered him a toothbrush for his troubles. A toothbrush. On top of that, the manager actually said it was inappropriate for my husband to (politely) express his disappointment in his experience with the poor dental work and customer service and that is why they were not going to work with him for a more acceptable resolution. She also said that it was my husband's fault and it absolved them of any responsibility for the poor work they had done because he didn't immediately come back in after the second time it fell off. My husband works 80 hour weeks. HE SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH IT FALLING OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE! Since when is good customer service involve blaming the client for your negligence and being upset with them when they bring it to your attention?.....Are there any good dentists in Greater Pittsburgh?

The staff is very friendly and the office is spotless. It is newly renovated and beautifully kept so you feel comfortable and not left wondering if things are clean. The dentists are upfront and very knowledgable. You leave feeling confident that you are paying for good quality and necessary work.

This place is awesome! When I experienced some dental pain, I called the office and they were able to quickly schedule an appointment around my difficult schedule. My appointment was with Dr. Burzese who was very pleasant and attentive. I had to receive shots and drilling and he made the experience almost completely painless and without anxiety. I would recommend this office to anyone and I plan to return.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rotz for many years. I've always had wonderful treatment and would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Rotz is highly knowledgable and I put complete confidence in his work. His office is clean and inviting and his office staff is absolutely wonderful! I have also had experience with Dr. Burzese, who treated a relative of mine who was experiencing severe pain with his dentures. Dr. Burzese spent a great deal of time with my relative and found a solution to his denture problem. My cousin was ecstatic and very grateful to Dr. Burzese, who was not only a very knowledgable dentist, was also very kind and patient. If you are looking for a new dental practice, this is the place for you!

I think the dental hygienists and the dentists are very professional. However I will not be returning. I had to cancel a dental cleaning the day of, due to a family emergency. I understand that is not ideal for them nor me. However, the attitude I received from the receptionist was unnecessary and frankly ... dehumanizing. When I told the receptionist, my grandpa was suddenly taken to the hospital and I needed to be with him. The receptionist gave a big sigh and said "We would appreciate it if you gave us more notice next time' and gave me a small lecture on how they run their business. I'm sorry but I dont see how it's possible to give more notice if it's an emergency. I understand they're running a business. But your customers are still human. They fail to see that.

My experience as a patient at this practice has been nothing short of fantastic. The staff is caring, informative and organized. The office is incredibly clean and well maintained. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for exemplary dental care in the Pittsburgh area.

Last Wednesday was my first experience with Dr. Barry Rotz & Associates. My old dentist had closed his practice and I needed to find someone new. Dr. Rotz was referred to me by a friend. The office is conveniently located in Wexford. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by their friendly receptionist. After some preliminary paperwork I was taken back for my exam, on time. They quickly went to work preparing me for my exam, explaining things all along the way. Dr. Clarke was fantastic. Going over all my past records and my current medical history. The exam was very thorough and again everything was explained every step of the way. I was even able to see what the dentist sees through the use of digital photography. Next I was seen by the dental hygienist Brooke. Again she did a very thorough job of cleaning my teeth and also explained every step what was happening. She also was able to schedule my next appointment. The whole experience was fantastic (well as far as going to the dentist can be). The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.
