Since 1996, my goal has been to provide the people of Nelson County and Bardstown with advanced and compassionate Oral Surgical care. I will continue to do my utmost to deliver quality and value to my patients without a trip out of town.
I grew up in western Pennsylvania in a small town similar to Bardstown. I received my undergraduate degree in Biology and Economics at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. My dental degree and oral and maxillofacial surgical postdoctoral training were completed at Boston University. I served as a staff oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and served as an adjunct instructor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
After establishing my own practice here in Bardstown, I have endeavored to stay current, stay involved and to give back something to the community that has been so good to me. I was fortunate and privileged to serve on the medical staff and Board of Directors at Flaget Memorial Hospital. I was past president of the Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. I served our community proudly for a few years as a member of the Rotary Club. I have also staffed the Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic at University of Louisville School of Dentistry on a part time basis for fifteen years.
I have maintained my certification in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for over 20 years. This Board Certification signifies a continuous commitment for excellence in patient care and treatment management.

Dr Laureano and his staff are efficient, thorough and pleasant. Patient oriented care. This will be my third oral surgery with him. Great doctor and great staff!

31 weeks pregnant and in so much pain from an infected tooth, infection spread to bone and no oral surgeons office would pull it even with a referral! Dr. Laureano heard about it, got me in to see me same day and pulled it same day!! For someone with huge dental anxiety that is huge, He talked me through it and got it done so fast and I didn't feel a thing. I can't thank him enough!!

I've been scared all my life to go to see the dentist. NO MORE!!! Dr Laureano and his staff were very calming and understanding my fears and helping me work through it for a near painless and surprising awesome experience!! Not to mention I had all my teeth extracted with just 2 visits and local anesthesia with NO2. I recommend this pro rider to anyone. Especially those who still face their own fears about dentistry!

I had 6 teeth removed by Dr. Laureano. He has been great through the entire process. From when I first met him for a consut to the weeks leading up to the surgery itself, he has stayed in contact with me to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. He showed up on time at the hospital for my procedure. He was/is very well-spoken, patient, understanding and genuinely seems to give a sheet about the work that he does and how it affects his patients. I was going to wait until after I was fully healed and THEN grade his performance. But even this early in the game, I feel confident rating the quality of care he provided. That's allowing for the possibility that my healing process, affected by a plethora of potential factors, doesn't go as planned. Thank you, Doc.

Had two front teeth extracted. Cracked one of my teeth next to it. Telling me they aren't liable, I signed a waiver. It was absolutely preventable. Just would have taken a little more time.

I had probably 12 or 13 teeth removed. I was very nervous but the surgery went smoothly. They were very reassuring and gentle. I had always heard of people having painful bone fragments that surface afterwards but I had none. The meds they gave me afterwards helped with swelling, pain and prevented infection bu.

This place is a joke they knew I was extreme anxiety and pushed me right to hospital for surgery. Never been in hospital so first appt I couldnt make cause was very sick thought I had covid. Second time I had thrush I couldn't even sleep or open mouth. He sent me a certified letter saying he would nolonger see me. All my teeth and he knows they are terrible and danger dangerous. Done checked with attorney and if I have severe problems before I get removed he will be.sued He was dr. And dropped for no reason so people go elsewhere.

My daughter had an appointment waited four months to get in got there lady was rude when unlock the door then we waited in line man in front of us did not have mask they let him back lady at front desk was very rude when she said you need a mask I did not have one she need a mask shaking her head and looking us up and down I have no problem going and getting a mask but she was rude and the man went back there without one and they could of told us ahead of time but did not. My daughter has much anxiety with new doctors which made her experience very bad, she said she did not want to go back and would not make her. They need to learn to deal with people. And their sign that said masks required was falling off door that's why we did not see it.

One of the best dentist offices I've been to. With in minutes dr. Laureano and his staff got me calmed down and less nervous before surgery. Talked me through the whole procedure before he even began to keep me in the loop which was very professional and very appreciated was quick and great during the entire procedure I will forsure be using him for ally teeth needs.

I have EXTREME anxiety due to a prior traumatic event at a different dentist office, and Dr.Laureano couldn't have made me any more comfortable with the process. I was kept in the loop with EVERYTHING that was to take place and had my expectations set from the get go. I was in and out of the office very quickly and now I'm just a few hours post op and no complications or issues after having 2 teeth removed. I would recommend him to anyone, but especially those with anxiety!

My son had several teeth removed in order to get braces after a bike wreak and one was extremely close to a nerve he done a great job and now we are getting the teeth aligned with braces thank you for a great job

Everyone is extremely nice here and Dr. Laureano is good at explaining what he is going to do & what to do afterwards. Clean office. Parking is found by the alley behind the building.

I have a abscessed tooth since July & my dentist referred me to this office for an extraction but they couldn't get me in till October so the infection has spread to another tooth which caused it to crack & start decaying & now I have to have 2 teeth removed. Keep in mind ive been in excruciating pain so I call to see if I can get in sooner then the woman who answered the phone had the audacity to tell me my second tooth isn't cracked & decaying because of the infection it's because I don't know how to brush my teeth properly?!?!? COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL & DOWN RIGHT RUDE!!!! Don't give you're personal opinions over the phone when you don't know my medial history & you're not even the dentist/ oral surgeon!
